KUDOS TO JOE! Every NPC has been played perfectly by him. And to think, this is the guy who, in the beginning of Giantslayer, said he wasn't much of a "role player"! Great work, Joe O'Brien!
Less a problem with the role playing and more a problem with names. Lorke the orc and his son j’son. And his friend….brend 😂😂😂i love this network.
'he wasn't much of a role player' Get in the Trunk with Joe as a GM absolutely and permanently voids his statements! I'm sitting here trying to figure out if I like Joe, Troy, or Jared the most, and I'm so happy that's a consideration I have!
Well at least we have actual names instead of L'orc the orc with his best friend Brend and son J'son
@@steved4088 I love how it seemed he didn't even realize what he did when he named Lorc. The others, if memory serves, pointed it out to him.
He's really grown into being a great storyteller. They're all so wonderful. (And here's to seeing more Francis! C'mon dude! Join the GCP as a regular!!!!)
“Are you still asleep”
“No, Roger’s always awake”
So ridiculous when taken literally. He's an alien.
they cant catch me sleeping if i dont close my eyes!
Can there ever be a better representation of delta green after this? My goodness everyone did such a good job.
Thank you, Curtis! I don't think we've been more in the DG zone than in this season!
Everyone is so good in this series, but I've been really bowled over by both Joe's master-GM'ing of this complicated, "grad-school-level" rpg adventure (and astonishing NPCs) and the quickness and depth of Sydney's improvisational acting with that character no matter how rpg-bonkers the circumstances of the scenes may be. Amazing.
Thanks!
I absolutely love how Troy plays Roger. He's simultaneously a comedically over-the-top G.I. Joe action figure and also the world's biggest, squishiest teddy bear. He has me in stitches one minute, then has me going, "Awww!" the next. xD
That Cumstone Magic!
The scene between Vicki and her sponser… such incredible acting by Joe and Sydney! I was cleaning while listening and had to stop because I was so drawn in by the role play. This cast is so good at making visceral, relatable characters. And also Roger 😂
The absolute worst thing a GM can say, regardless of campaign setting, game system, or situation, is "Everything seems fine."
Panic...PANIC!!!!
Underline "seems".
I wish Sydney and Joe had won an award for their performances in this season. As a fellow GM/Keeper/Handler, I learned so much from Joe.
Thank you all for your brilliant contributions to the TTRPG community and all the times I've laughed until I've cried this season!
Thanks Joe!
Thanks Sydney!
Thanks Francis!
Thanks Troy!
Thanks Skid!
Thanks, Kyle!
I know my memory should’ve latched onto something else buuuuttttt…”*squawk* Give it to me, give it to me, give it to me.” Well played Sydney…well played 🤣😂😭
Hahahaha!
I had to pause it to cough-laugh when Skid played that gif after Sydney's luck roll... holy crap...

Getting goosebumps from Joe's spooky descriptions. Best handler ever! "Thanks" to all of you guys for having me with you on this mind-boggling journey to the night floors!
I love seeing his expressions when he does his discriptions he's so excited
Thanks DK! I give myself goosebumps sometimes. When I scare myself, I know I'm doing it right. lol. -Joe
Rodger and Vic are like Mulder and Scully, if Mulder was played by a cross between Steven Seagal and Dolph Lundgren
I had the same reaction as joe when francis dropped his little bomb. And a perfect play by troy with "oh you dont have any secrets?"
I giggled like a moron at the parrot skit.
Ya that got me good.
Almost done binging the season since I've never been able to catch it live and I know this show would kill me to watch week-to-week. Absolutely incredible work from Joe and the whole squad here; now I have another system to learn and run!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I enjoy the other shows on the network, but this one is by far my favorite.
This comment is correct. -Joe
Another fantastic episode, I'm very much invested, loved the depiction of the awkward morning after between Maybelline & Messiah. Joe your DM'ing is incredible, and everybody's roleplaying is phenomenal. I can't wait for part 2!
No mask? No mask!
Thanks Adam! Season 5 is going to be nuts!
That's it. I'm buying Delta Green.
Joe: "What is the END!?! What is the end of this?"
I felt that right in the GM.
Ha! All of us GMs have those moments where we just want to strangle our players.
Joe's acting is on point.
Whew. Sydney REALLY knows how to pick a fight. 😊
I was actually laughing and crying last episode with [that thing that happened.]
This has been a great season. Seriously high quality content across the board. Got to get my arse over to Patreon.
Get on over there! We've got a new Pathfinder 2e show launching on the $10 tier. patreon.com/glasscannon
@@TheGlassCannon Ha ha! Saw the State of the Nation. Screw Amazon Prime. Cancel that! I’m on my way over.
The penultimate episode of this season!!! I've been hooked since season 1!! So glad, I don't have to wait for season five.
As someone who works with recovering addicts a lot, the last two episodes have been hard to watch as Vicki struggles with her addiction, butin a good way. Syd and Joe doing a great job with it and showing the struggle while simultaneously respecting it. Kudos to both of you!
I smell a bond forming....and not just because Cumstone was named after Roger Moore. Hilarious!
Yup. Bonds are in the air as they say in the deep, dark corners of Delta Green.
"...shall never pass your lipsss."
Glass cannon commentary always makes me glad to live in an apartment.
This show is knocking it out of The Park!
I love this series so muuuuuuuuuuuch
How does it keep getting better!?!
Thanks, JessiNaka. Me too. Me toooo. -Joe
@@TheGlassCannon omg Joe you're a legend!! Thank you and everyone at the Glass Cannon for the amazing stories. Get in the Trunk is my absolute favorite ♡
One of the coolest things about this series is the way the players whose characters are not "on stage" react to those who are.
Alright, time to fess up: I was skipping the chatter before the game started for the first like 12 episodes and just going straight to the action, but now I've grown to like y'all so much I just found myself wanting to listen to the beginning catch-up. Great game, great players, great handler!
Thanks!
Another absurdly great episode!
Thanks, Gryphon!
Skid are you an LSU fan?!? I graduated from there in the 2019 season! I always knew you were my fav!!
Joe: "Do you want to play out this entire dinner?" ... "What is the end, for Christ's sake?"
i listened to the pod, but came here to see some highlights. It's fun to see everyone busting up.
Love it, Jim.
I'm dreading the break
All good things, as they say. But we'll be back. In fact, we'll be working on Season 5 probably earlier than you expect.
@@TheGlassCannon great! The kid and I can't wait!
1:59:00 what on earth is that sound? 0-0
Maybe it gets brought up later and attention is put on it, but just my straight reaction freaked me out!
Fart?
Hahaha! It's a motorcyle and I'd bet $1,000 it's outside of Sydney's window. Sydney is in Brooklyn and selected the loudest street in NYC when she picked her apartment.
i really appreciate Sydney's shameless roleplaying.
"Hez a bottom"
Sydney
Absolutely
Slayed me
Get In The Trunk and Bone 😂 so uncomfortable AND funny
I always look forward to new episodes! Thank you so much for doing what you do. Here’s a toast to your survival… Possibly haha
Thanks Jack! And we look forward to seeing you back here every week!
Roger: "You're bad at your job."
Amazing Episode everyone was incredible.
Oh God, I'm way too pumped for this.
damn this morning feels SOOO real lmao
Any other non-New Yorkers keep a google maps tab open to follow along with where the characters are?
That "Carmines" reference had me rolling. I wonder how many New Yorker inside jokes I'm missing.
Best show on the network.
What a confluence this game is. Needed a few years of Delta Green experience, the addition of Francis, and of course a heavy base of Cumstone. We're having too much fun.
Well I subscribed to the Patreon a few weeks ago specifically for GITT and have listened/watched nothing else since then, I'm now all caught up and life feels that little bit more empty...
No. Nooooooo!! It's time for a re-listen then. Time to catch all the hints you didn't catch the first time around!
God this is so GOOOOOOD!
Favorite part?
@@TheGlassCannon every episode has a lot of diamonds. But for me, it's the scene where Roger gets laid while listening to the album with the clown in the art and then has that nightmare with the parrot talking and the clown standing at the feet of the bed. The level of cinematic descriptions like those (not mechanical in game moments) are the thing that set this series above so many others IMHO
I want to see a game where the players are stuck in a reality generated purely from Roger Cumstone's imagination on any given mundane day.
We had an oil tanker pull up to our neighbours place and open the cap to start pumping turns out it was the wrong house he had converted to wood heat two years ago, and basically he came out running as the pumper was flooding his basement... true story
Whaaaa!! That's terrifying. I'm guessing the oil tanker driver lost their job that day. Yikes!
Based on what ive learnt about Joe's luck over the years, he might be your neighbour
Vicky: He's a bottom!
Finest show on the GCN imo. With the finest cast as well
Thanks Ako!
1:18:14 God I love Cumstone hahaha
"Anyways, have a good day..." HAHAHA!
Anyone else hear Guns n Roses' Mr Brownstone in their head but with the lyric changed to 'Roger Cumstone'? Because I would be surprised if I was the only one.
Well now I do!!
Vicky: "I will fucking arrest you."
In the Midwest it’s cemented over and welded shut coal chutes.
Get In The Trunk: Into The Roger-Verse
1:01:59
Ahhh, I love the smell of inter-party conflict in the morning.
Gonna have to go back and see the first 3 seasons before i start season 5. Great work to all involved, especially Syd making rolls rather than deciding out of character how Vickie will act in certain circumstances.
Also, didn't mention this in the episode it was brought up in, but Skid is pretty brave to outright say he goes to therapy. Few people, especially us men, would admit that to our friends, much less live on the internet.
Francis continues to surprise with how good he is at TTRPGs despite how little he's played so far, both in understandng mechanics and in role playing ability.
Troy playing the ultimate Duke Nukem with a brain is incredibly goofy. While Roger is a bit of an A-hole, he has enough redeeming qualities to not be a completely unlikeable character.
And of course, Joe's ability to improvise, the care he treats his NPCs with, the details in his descriptions.
God damn, this is a fantastic cast!
It's perfect that Bobby is the one being debriefed by their handler. Vicky is now: it all has to be destroyed! Roger: They are all evil, they have to die--and if you flip out on me, I'll kill you too. Mernou: I just need to take a few more pictures--then we blow it up.
HVAC problems suuuuuuck, especially in winter.
We've had problems mainly during power outages, and we fire up the woodstove and all sleep near it.
But we also like it cold. If we're active in a room, it's 60. If we're asleep, it's 55. If the room is empty, it's 50.
In summer, we keep it around 70 when people are in the room, 75 if empty. (We're cheap.)
We have oil heat too. Seems like a northeast thing. It's basically #2 diesel.
I also didn't like the smart thermostats on the market so I built my own (because I'm a nerd).
"You're bad at your job!"
I e got to stop listening to this late at night…
Neil takin Jony to the bathroom with kitchen knife and a bix of garbage bags?
Hahaha! Wouldn't have been a bad idea!
That does sound like a more than 2 San Projection scene, yes!😂🤣
Shout out to Skid for the LSU representation
brilliant
Have you seen the yellow sign?
I appreciate how mature themes were handled. My own group can do horror rp but (this is one man in the group’s opinion) this sexuality would be too far for them, so I admire the maturity and character/player split!
Roger being chipper is creepy.

SYDS ROLEPLAY WOW YES
She is the best!
Have you showed them yet?
Have you seeeeeen it, Kaboom?
Not sure why they are paranoid of their handle. Handlers manage them, so yes they always know what their subordinates are doing at all times. It's their job to know. Also, having an FBI badge isn't a very out of jail free card. They don't have immunity. If they are breaking the law they can be arrested and held until the information comes down through the proper chain of command. And even delta force shouldn't get a rush order not paper work, no official orders, an no questions asked in a day or too. People are actually held responsible. I think bringing in this reality would add to the horror and tension of the game. Just my two cents. Keep on entertaining. 😁
