The first “Hypercar” went 242mph… modern hypercars do 260mph+ with ease. A dodge charger can do 204mph… This is not a hypercar. It’s just an AMG, over saturated with gimmicks, and a speedo that drastically over-reads. 208mph on the dash but 197mph on GPS is crazy

This will not be accepted by a lot of customers. This is my guess. I don't think it is for another safety reason, because 350 or 315, in the event of a crash the results will not differ.

But not all Tires have the same diameter and circumference and tires loose profile. Thats why they loose a few mils of diameter/circumference, depending on how much they are worn. Manufacturers also add a bit of "playroom" for the meassurement so that no matter how worn you tires are, you never drive faster then your speedo shows

This is hybrid performance cars done right. No smaller main engine with less cylinders (ahem, C63), but the same engine with an electric engine for more power.
I keep thinking back to the SVJ Gintani review that you did as it appears to be the same driving route. I know this is a completely different car but the noise from that SVJ was absolutely wild. This AMG sounds like a Rolls Royce in comparison 😂

It took this AMG 6+ seconds to go from 100-200km/h with a V8 engine that is supported by TWO turbochargers+1 electric motor developing a total of 816hp and total price tag of 220k Euros. A bone stock 505hp Corvette Z06 from 2006 with a manual transmission and NO turbos needs 7 seconds to do the same. Not sure if that's really an achievement buddy.

@@soulfeed5740 unfortunately it is. I wanted to buy the new S class or the EQS. Both is horrible, squeaking noises while you driving them and everything feels really cheap. So I went for the new 7 series.

As the tires wear the circumference gets smaller and the wheel speed sensor reads higher.

It's not poor. There is some plastic on some panels that shouldn't be there, but for the most part its still very luxurious
