    As a native Tennessean, I love the comical value of this. I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of much of the "typical" country music that would be on the radio in this day in age. With that being said I know exactly what you guys were going for quite well and I think you blew it out of the water.

      And the Appalachian accent is derived from the Scottish and Irish accents of the people who settled there and, much later, created country music as we know it. My main overdrive is the Nobels ODR (mini on the board at the moment). I use lots of various overdrives though. Gotta have Slap Back delay too. I use the BOSS DD-500 for most of my delays. There are a couple of things about that Nashville Tele that are not traditional. First off, it has noiseless pickups rather than regular single coils. Secondly, because of the Stat-like switching, you can't select the combination of bridge and neck pickups. It's a fabulous guitar, but those looking for classic sounds all the way around may want to consider going with two single coils.

    Do a sound like Brad Paisley. I dare you. Between his play style and tone... it's nearly impossible. He has aspects of his tone that shouldn't go together. It's huge and open but chicky-picky; pretty overdriven yet doesn't come across that way, feels clean. Very self-contradictory.

      Fender Telecaster
      Fender Blues Jr probably

    • @daveyroque1070
      @daveyroque1070 4 года назад +1

      Indeed he is very hard to imitate! He combines older style country, with a new rock like driven tone, all while pickin with those chicken cluckers for fingers! And his tone is so unique. It's like an Esquire had a capacitor from a Gibson varitone installed, with a mix of that classic strat in between quacky duck tone.

    I laughed so much when I heard, "I don't know how to play chicken picking so much, so when I run out of ideas, I just bend" that was to funny! Bea, you could play a toy guitar from Walmart and make it sing! Thank you for what you do. By the way, southern accent, just leave that to us.
