Very few bands last that long. Fewer still make records that are really good after 20 years. Sloan's newer stuff is better than that. Great! Check them out live if you get the chance; you won't regret it!

Sonic Youth as a power pop band - for this song anyway. I don’t think Sloan’s ever written a bad song - and that’s after 30 years with the original lineup!
These old low budget videos are so much better than today's crap. This video is imperfect/grainy and the band are natural and awkward they are just fun to watch. Everything today is too perfect and the videos are boring to watch and everyone acts like they are so awesome.

this is one of my very favorite Sloan videos - it's really pure, and everyone is so adorable. This is the perfection of the 90s teen dream - or in my case, the 20-year-old dream :)
This is such a great song
This song is the soundtrack to my final years of high school.... a time when I got to interview Sloan not once, but twice for our local college radio station! Still love Sloan, one of the most consistent bands of all time. Every album of theirs is killer!

Sloan, something that is more real than real, what you understand your sound is, nirvana, ramones, Led Zelplin, actually Sloan transcend, just because they never were in the limelight they are out of this world

Some of Sloan's best work, right here. Music the cool kids were into. This vid was on heavy rotation on MuchMusic when I was in high school circa early '93. This band became a major influence on me.

@@WWilson67 Nope--that's most likely the Queensboro in NYC. It's certainly not the MacDonald or the MacKay bridge. Also, those are NYC taxi cabs in the video.

Chris Murphy said at his last acoustic set last Sunday than Smeared will get the box treatment that Twice Removed, OCTA and Navy Blues has received. No release date yet - I just hope they change the cover. Definitely one of the ugliest covers to an album ever!
Someone from Sloan's team has said yes there will be a re-release box set of Smeared and no they won't change the cover.
