When Dorothy Pritchard gets a housesitting gig for the wealthy Poe's on Halloween night, they failed to tell her about their rotting comatose mother living in the upstairs bedroom. She'll wish somebody had when the terror begins and Mother wakes up in this tongue-in-cheek horror romp from the filmmakers of Creatures of Whitechapel and Kiss the Devil in the Dark.

Screamfest all of them but the clown doll freaked me out the most. I really enjoyed this type of horror, can't wait to see more of it. oh and I love you guys btw ❤️

Mom & the clown are a draw. They were both excellent. I guess I would have to give the edge to the clown because, I HATE clown doll's. They give me the willies.

For sure the scariest part was the guy eating cereal in the evening just before going to a function with food!!!!
I mean, who does that, right? He's going to burst.
But, he seems like a cereal type of guy, the food at the function is probably way too fancy for him - his view of being 'fancy' is adding extra cheese and pickles.

Loved the movie overall. A lot of the short horror movies are really just scenes, not a whole movie. I like that this is enough to stand alone. Acting was perfectly overacted for this type movie. Absolutely 2 thumbs up.
Glad you "got it." For those that don't, it's all good... but for those that do... well that just makes the cream all the tastier!
I can't say this scared me but, I had a tremendous amount of fun watching it. Some commenters said the acting was off, but honestly for me it gave it a campy fun air to the film. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Within 5 seconds of seeing the first two characters' hair, outfits, and incredibly thin eyebrows I was really confused. Then I saw it was made in 2011 and it all made sense lol

Loved how life like the clown doll was. Comatose Mother already straight up looked like a witch and that was a cute tie in to Tiny Tim.
i genuinely enjoyed this entire movie, i liked the characters, the villein, the baby sitter. it was funny and actually suspenseful . thanks for making this and sharing it with us!
We hope everyone enjoys the film! It's okay if you love it, dislike it, or fall somewhere in between! But the film was made by a young team, many making their first real film of any kind at the time, on a shoestring budget. It has quite the history for those who explore it, and it's nice to be able to share it at long last with all of you after a little hiatus! Enjoy the thrills... enjoy the camp... enjoy the audacity of it all!

Totally enjoyed watching this scary film. Well the heroine was so daring... and I loved the old mom wavering in thin air... good job. Actually the daughter of that oldie is scary.. 😆😆😆
The offkilter acting and tone threw me off for a bit till I realized this was going for an Evil Dead 2 kinda vibe. Once that sunk in, it's a really enjoyable ride with some really awesome camera work and special effect prop work.

I thought the husband and wife set it up as some horrible prank on someone they didn’t know. “Hey! Let’s get some young girl to come over, make her think she’s taking care of someone, and we’ll scare the hell out of her and then tell her later that it’s just us.” Like they do this every Halloween to a different person. But nah. It really was just some monsters.

I think the acting and monologues could've been better for the girl and they lingered way too long on stone parts but overall this is one of the few horror shorts I've seen that had actually scared me a little, in a very long time!! Now that's a compliment coming from me!! Great job guys!
Wow, that was a carnival of creepiness. The mother was horrifying but the undead Tiny Tim terrified me the most. Ingenious. Well done to all involved.
Very flawed in some areas,but a prime example that you don't need a big budget to make a creepy movie. It definitely scared me with the atmosphere. It can only get better from here! Nice job!
I love how she picked up “A Christmas carol” and then was haunted by a ghostly tiny Tim, sort of a clue that was the mother

The Jester Clown doll was the scariest of the three, although comatose mother looked scarier, it was just something about the Jester.

This is so entertaining. Dorothy is excellent! And perfect for the role. She comes across a bit shallow but then proves she has guts. Love the way she goes skidding along the floor past the kitchen entrance like a cartoon character! Mrs Poe is totally creepy. And so is her mother! Her husband is the only sane one is the household it seems.

Idk why but this gave me lie goosebumps vibes. Especially the ending with her at the window and the doll in the car. I feel whoever made this has great potential to like make some trully creepy and great quality work. The cinematography in this was stunning. Story, dialogue and acting left a lot to be desired though.
I'm guessing that the clown/jester will always be with Dorothy now as it was with the comatose mom.
Well thank God she don't have to die at the end😂

There are serious "Army of Darkness"-vibes in this one. The Comatose Mother reminded me strongly on the hag in "Army of Darkness". Very well done...
Shout out to the effects team. I love when movies use more practical effects than CGI. One of the things I found most enjoyable about this film is its clear vision. From the cinematography to lighting and designs, its clear they knew what they wanted from each shot. An updated take on old school campy horror. Well done.

I think the main component that gave more vividness, brightness and some enchanting to the horror besides the script, art direction, visual effects themselves and so forth, was definitely the actings. If it wasn’t for them, I’m 100% positive it wouldn’t have worked superbly adding in, of course, the horror commingled with comedy.
PS. The doll is another great trick and nice surprise. He clearly is the icing on the cake

This was soooo good! As a lover of old style traditional horror this was right up my street. I was hooked from the beginning with all my favourites there e.g. stormy night, Halloween, power cut, house-sitter/babysitter etc. If a formula works stick to it. Thanks for making lockdown more bearable because believe it or not I'm a actually taking care of my poorly mam! She's lovely though!

And if it were me, I would have totally thrown candy at a crying boy, and then offered him all of it after realizing he's actually a dead child, like that SHOULD work right? All kids, even dead ones love candy! And I also don't change diapers when I'm depressed over a break up, that's just how I roll 😂 it was pretty entertaining though

The comatose mother is so scary in her quirky noise.. Plot was so good jump scares worked too.. Some goosebumps too..
I miss this style of movie. Cheese can be scary. Like a horror comic book with a twist on the "Tales from the Crypt" vibe but polished to 2021. I would love to see a scary universe that spider webs from this story, and these actors playing the same characters. Everybody just nailed it with this one. Top to bottom. If you raise enough coin maybe had that hard core techno bass music when credits are rolling. Like what was there already but with more "oomph" and sped up a touch. That would have completely killed it. Other then that, I give it 99.5% on "oooohhhhh yeah, that's HOT!" Will Smith check.
The girl is a Pretty good screamer. I use to make films and ppl would not believe how many ppl Can’t scream on cue! It’s really difficult but when you get a good one! Keep her and make a sound byte for future projects...I loved the clown! I love clowns anyway...that one and the ole lady were just creepy...gr8 job all, and kudos to all involved with this project. And a gr8 thanks 🙏🏻 to financial supporters. That’s why I got out...I just couldn’t find the money to make films...
