Hi Janel, I am hoping that you still have this sewing machine, I have one and I find I can only back stitch in longer stitch lengths 6-10 and then the feed dogs just stay in one position, is this how yours is/was? im thinking something is wrong with mine,
I have the same machine plus 3 others. On my brother db2-b755-3 I've been using a 80/12 needle and confused why I cant install a 110/18 needle without it being aligned and hitting the bobbin case. My only assumption is the height is the problem

You can adjust your bobbin winder so when its done it will push front the arm.
It it possible to have great nails and sew? Thumbs up for good audio levels, presentation and lighting.
