I’ve got red and really like the color hue that seeps in. But I can see how that would be more bothersome with sensitive eyes
I see your point, but I do like the orange. But understand how it could be a bit bright.
I purchased a sunidea sun shade, black color. I love it. Little bit of a pain to install with feeding the Bungies w that folded piece of paper, took about an hour. Also not the easiest to put my hard top back on . But overall i really like it.
I have to say I have the red alien 👽 shade and I love it, also having an optical nerve issue and sensitive to light I think it’s great. Would black be hotter as dark attracts heat 🤔
Love the channel Rob. I went with Spiderweb Shade on my 20 sportS max tow. Yes black as my truck is white. I liked the way it secures over other brands. Those bungie balls bug the heck out if me!

I have a black sunshade in my 17 JK and I really like it.
I got lucky and just picked up one online for $30 it's the gray color which I was hoping would match my crystal granite better but I should have gotten black. but looking forward to install when it stops raining this week.
I did install front and rear shades. Went with black and I love them. Maybe you can paint them. I know there are paints especially made for vehicle interiors. They might work for you.

I have an Alien sun shade in green(my favorite color) on my Gobi colored JT. My wife has a black sunshade in her Jeep Wrangler (different brand). I’ve noticed a mesh size difference in the sunscreens. Her sunscreen has bigger mesh holes while mine has a lot smaller mesh holes. Maybe the mesh size effects the brightness or amount of light getting in. The green in mine isn’t bright to me, but that could just be preference. Just a thought. By the way I like to open my rear window when highway driving with the top open, seams to make a difference to me.
I think either a dark gray or black would be the best choice.

Rob I do see your point, of it being to bright in there!! It does seem like a nice thing to have though!! I guess you could just get a black one and sell the orange one, does make sense to run one of theses things 👍!!
