Gosh! There are a lot of articles in French!🤩
Just a few ;)
I liked this new t-shirt.
Merci :)
Can you please do accents in french because you teach very well ❤
I have don’t them on my pronunciation playlist :)
Dear Prof,
les articles partitif are the same as les article contractés do you know a trick to not get confused? might it be using an answer of a complement of specification?
I have bought your conjugation course book and I’m going to buy the complete grammar course and vocabulary! Thank you Prof ! Are you from France or Canada ? Love you. A
Unfortunately, there are no tricks to differentiate them all but in the end they are all the same so that's easier :)
I moved to Canada to be with my husband :)
Thank you so much for supporting my work Andrea 🤩
Can İ know know where exactly should İ start conjugaison or grammar like the right order ?
Yes! Go to my website and grab the self-study guide, all the lessons are listed. And it's free to download :)
Dear Dylan, tell me please, which sentences is better: “ acheter de Jolie’s fleurs. Ou “ Acheter des Jolie’s fleurs”. Thx u very much
Both are fine, but it's jolies fleurs ;)
Hi Dylane, word has it that we can also use "du, de la" in the abstract nouns, such as "concept, power, emotion, marriage". Namely, it means "the concept, marriage". Is this statement true?
Correct :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Thanks
Page 54......Je suis la!!
ça y est tu es à jour :D
Bonjour, est-ce que vous avez des videos qui explique "partitive adjectives?" Par example la phrase "something new." La traduction est "quelque chose DE nouveau." Je ne comprends pas la structure ici. Il y a une règle qui peut m'aider avec comment utiliser "nom + DE + adjectif?" Merci beaucoup!
Ce n'est pas un article dans ce cas mais une préposition :) Quelque chose de - Un peu de - Beaucoup de - etc
I think I understand now. Thank you. To say " I would like some water", I would say "je voudrais de l'eau" but if I would like a glass of water I would say "je voudrais un verre d'eau" because un verre is a quantity. Is that correct? I have been struggling with this, but i think you have clarified it. Thank you!!!
Exactly 🤩
Bonjour, comment ca va! I'm improving on my French 💪💪
Très bien Carlos 👏
💛
Bonjour! j’etudiais ton liste de phrases pour pratiquer le prononciation ( Jour 3 du challenge) et je crois qu’il manque un ‘h’ dans ´l’ophtHalmologue’ ? Un typo? Je vous remercie pour tes courses! Helen
Oh non ! Merci Helen :D
❤
"Il a /des/ chiens et /des/ chats" (2:56) -- ce sont des articles partitifs ou indéfinis?
That was definitely a mistake on my side, I added it last minute without thinking!
Should we watch the conjugation course or the grammar course first?
Go to my website and grab the self-study guide. There is the list of lessons to follow :) And it's free to download :)
I've been thinking for a long time in which order to watch the videos. Merci beaucoup encore :)@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
Bonjour Prof.Dylane,
Je demanderais gentiment si avec la négation spécifiant une quantité, je devrais utiliser "de" ou "du".
Permettez-moi d'expliquer immédiatement.
Par exemple:
Je ne mange pas DE fromage.
Je ne mange pas un kilo DU fromage
ou
Je ne mange pas un kilo DE fromage.
Votre grammaire est spectaculaire et très claire. Je vous remerci pour votre gentillesse. A
Andrea après une référence de quantité, on utilise toujours DE :)
For me I mix up the Preposition De for the Partitive Article.
It's very common actually!
Mam quelque also means some so then du de la n all that are same?
They change depending of the gender and number of the noun, but yes they all translate to the same :/
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane ohk thanks
Merci beaucoup Dylan. 👍👍👍 Demain je n’acheterai pas de viande. 😳😳
C'est parfait David 🤩
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane j’dit ca a Boucher a Nice aujourd’hui..😁😁
Why Des makes the é accent aigu? but not De? is there any explanation?
De stays de like other small words such as ne, je, le, et etc :)
Can you make a video how to say a sentence at French
Like any sentence?
Ye again I do second comment . Yahoo. By the way very. Nice video .
Oh hello again 🤩
please what is the difference between de & du here:
La couleur du vin
Le goût du vin
Le type de vin
le verre de vin
It's very hard to understand the difference and when to use de or du
the confusing part to me is... in your examples section, why the des + de la are not translated to add "some" in the english sentences? example - she drinks some lemonade every day?
Because in French we use articles 99.9% of the time while English doesn't use them as much :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane so it's ok to omit the "some" when translating du/de la etc to english?
Du De la de l' Des are use when there is not a specific quantity
I think the translation should not be "some" because "some" is already a quantity, an amount. I believe the translation 2:59 should be: I eat bread and chese. Otherwise when using Des the translation would have to be: he has some dogs and some cats.
Ex. Je bois du vin. I drink wine. Je mange du pain. I eat bread.
Excuse me if i am wrong. This is only an observation.
Thanks :)

Why on earth didn't she give any examples on negative sentences using the partiative articles?
