  • Showing you how I change my oil on my 2023 Honda Ridgeline it’s now over 31,000 miles and running strong. I use a fumoto valve And it makes my oil changes quick and easy.
    This applies to the 2017 to the current 2024 ridgeline models

    I’ve got a ‘23 Kia K-5 with a little hatch in the plastic underbody panel you take off to access the oil filter to change the oil but when you remove the filter oil runs inside the underbody panel. I swear the designers and the engineers must completely refuse to talk to each other at all.

      I think they make it a pain on purpose! So people just take it to the dealership. Lol.

    Loosen the oil fill cap and the air pressure will help the oil come out faster. Also always put some used motor oil on the new oil filter rubber o ring. This helps you get the filter off easily.

    I have an OEM oil deflector for the filter. I love it but not sure it's worth $40.

      @@dmanatan I saw that at the stealership. I was like. Hell no. Just let the oil drip as intended. Lol
