I know it's cheesy to blame ur team for losing but I feel for the people at the lower ranks that are actually better than what their rank suggests. Because once you are down at that level, the only way to get out is to carry your team
That's true, but not with all heroes. My friend is a lvl 400 Mercy main and she's great, but you know as well as I do that some characters can't carry as well as others, hence why she's 1700SR. But at least they have fun.
Mercy mains would benefit from queuing with another, preferably DPS to carry. Healing is great, but you can't carry a team with heals if they aren't able to kill the team. Eventually you get focused, and suddenly your entire team is rolled.
you don't get focused down there, and people solo out of bronze as mercy all the time. Just remember, down there the enemy is shite too, so you can literally prevent so many deaths. Dmg boost is actually pretty good because it will help your shitey teammates win 1v1s, res saves the game, you can get through the most games with at most 2 deaths. So, she can carry :)
Paula Shin I would stay idc how the man women child sounds as long as they don't yell and act dumb I'll listen cuz they're people too. Like this kid was probably 13 or so and he's really loud but his genji is really good he's in bronze and the way he plays he should at least be plat but he's in silver probably cuz he's a kid but I added him anyway cuz he had mic and did some call outs. People shouldn't go oh it's a kid they're gonna suck(sometimes they do) but hey it doesn't take a rocket scientist to be good at a video game
Yeah, she was the only one in voice later on (17:34). Holy fk, this is so dumb. People would not even need to talk themselves... just don't leave the frikkin voice channel and get a better game.
She was pretty good for a bronze player. But anouther thing you forgot to mention was just because she is flying doesnt mean you have to defense matrix
Bobby Lopez Yeah, it seems like it's a habit for her to just put on Defense Matrix even when there's nothing to block. kind of like the Winston in a different Stylosa video who always put down his shield after he jumped, even when he didn't need to at all.
I've heard people say that there is next to no difference in bronze, silver and gold. Most of the people I have heard say this are bronze and silvers. After seeing a few games in bronze here, having deranked to upper bronze/low silver and back up to gold I can tell you there are def differences. Communication is one. Gold players talk way more than bronze and silvers; they don't communicate like diamond+ but they do talk. And I have played with a ton of silvers that should be in upper gold or plat at least... when they play their one trick. This is the thing I feel that keeps people in lower gold and below. Consistency on more than 1-2 characters. And you'd be lucky if they have the second one they can play well. Also, silvers are not willing to swap off heroes they are doing poorly with whereas golds are more likely to swap. This is probably the biggest difference between those two brackets in particular. But it all goes back to them playing their one trick or wanting their "main". Not saying you don't see it in gold but they tend to be more flexible with a larger hero pool.
I can agree with this. Silvers do seem to be a bit more chill than gold. I am not sure what causes this. But you do run into more toxic players in gold. The climb from gold to plat is a bit more difficult than the climb from silver to gold because of this.
I personally would appreciate more Overanalyzed videos BUT I think it would be interesting if people sent in videos where they lost, despite doing everything they thought they can, so that Sty can go over whether it actually was a noob team or not. Like, I always try to get people on the voice chat as well and one time I did this, nothing but a goddamn russian could be heard and that, ladies and gentlemen, is not a language I speak. And literally the next game, same thing but with Italians. Well at least they sounded fun.
yeah but unless you land it perfectly on top, its worthless. because if it is off on one side, the person only needs to duck on the other side to avoid. if its in the air there is nowhere to hide.
Radio Larity ???????????????????????????? Zarya at full charge is legit fucking OP but that's understandable seen as it's only active for a short while each match. Why would you *purposefully* wanna make zarya into that state 24/7?! That's cray cray imo lol
What do you mean by less time to make plays? I really feel like you need to more fully explain this because I would rarely hear anyone say that shooting Zarya's shields on purpose is a good idea so the concept of doing so is incredibly foreign to me.
a big problem I notices was target prioritization. You would focus one target but then for some reason leave them and move onto the next. Focus one target, attacking one but not finishing it does nothing.
finishing kills is not your priority as a tank. it's nice when it happens, but your goal is to make space and protect your team. DPS should be finishing off what you can't.
Pablovini 98 totally, but as a tank, most of the time you prioritize your targets based on where your team needs to go and ensuring their safety on the way. essentially, your damage is there not to kill enemies, per se, but to force them out of the places they want to be. if you're busy focusing down an enemy soldier, while a tracer is wrecking your backline, forcing your team to back up because you now have no heals, you're not doing your job as a tank. this changes a bit depending on the situation and which tank you're playing, but for the most part, your job is to bully people out of the way, not secure kills.
I was in bronze, now I'm in platinum. I'll give you a tip to rank up: - Don't play dps, at that rank everyone thinks that is the best player in the world, you don't have to think that, just play Rein, Ana or Zarya, and protect your team as much as you can.
every single bronze player sty sees he is impressed by, eventually hell realise bronze players are mostly pretty decent, that's why these people who seem "better than brozne" don't climb because most people are just as good as them
casklord the problem with Bronze is that there are people with hella good aim and mechanics who are only lowrank due to their Lack of gamesense/teamwork or just bc they dont take comp seriously and play for fun and then there are people who only just started playing on pc and are still struggling with WASD, so u really never know what kind of team ur gonna get
yeah I agree with that but even for the people who have say a gold level of aiming and gamesense, if they get down to bronze it takes a long time to Solo queue out of there. I should know I played like 40 games in gold and hovered around the same SR then I had a losing streak and now I'm stuck in bronze and can't get out
casklord yea that's what I meant, there's varying skill levels in Bronze so it's hard to climb cuz teams are rarely balanced. Hope u make it out of there tho :P
I agree. Many people who have not been in bronze ever and attempt to make guides advise people very basic tactics like grouping up, not playing 4 DPS and not going in 1v6 and ulting. Well, uh... I already know this since I started comp, so... thanks for trying, I guess? +xx y Exactly, when I see Genji or Junkrat insta lockers for example (or people who pick a third or fourth dps slot), I also feel a bit sorry for them. Their tactic is horrible, so they are in silver instead of bronze due to their mechanical skill, but they could easily reach gold or higher if they played with their team.
@@IsaacJoshi rip dude. Good luck I believe in you. I was 1200 bronze season 13, gold season 14 and im plat now. My friend who plays on console who played longer than me was also in bronze at one point, and he is diamond now, so I believe in you.
the dva ult she did at like 8:30 was the best way she could of done it. if she launched it forward it could of got stuck on the building that has walls either side or landed on the footpath thing on the top. if you stand on payload And press q they can't hide behind the payload like you said
i think ppl forget that launching dva bombs and having them land is actually quite difficult. i have a lot of time on dva and i still screw them up all the time
Welcome to bronze where people that should be in at least silver get dragged down by throwers, leavers, and worst of all, people who think they know what they're doing when they actually haven't got a single clue.
3:12 What about earthshatter and death blossom?.. Or earthshatter and riptire?? I agree that the comp isn't good, but if that's what they're going with, then those combos work.
I went from Silver (Nearly gold) to bronze. Imagine: 21 Elims all the gold medals, 6 Deaths. Loss. Worst one was literally over in under 3 minutes, I had 4 Kills and six Deaths and was the best player on my team. I: The problem with Bronze (Or even silver apparently) is once you are IN bronze, you HAVE to carry, and carry HARD, and it's hard when you have a Rien that doesn't use the shield, or a Mercy that stands in the front, or a solder that literally runs through the choke into Sym Turrets. Hell, I had a Rein that literally walked through the choke with his shield up and ignored the six turrets cooking him, and then, when I DID clear the turrets by going D.VA and boosting over to deal with them, refused to go through to choke with the full team and let them just rebuild the kill gate.
Alaric Paley Damn, and I thought Platinum was bad. Sorry bro, just gotta keep trying :/ At least once you do get high up, you'll keep climbing fast because of how godly you've become :P
Alaric Paley had one guy who hated people who were talking. bad thing was, I got him 2 games in a row. he would complain every time we talked or communicated something, and refused to just mute us each time we told him to. first game we won because our team just ignored him and kept communicating, second game we lost because I was the only one communicating. silver fucking sucks to be in. almost in gold though
Ayub Atif was in gold last season. its not quite as bad, but still super bad. I find there are a lot more easy to tilt, always salty players in gold compared to silver.
Gold compared to silver is really good, then when you get to platinum it gets 10 times worse. This is coming from someone who climbed from around 1600 sr to 2500 sr this season. The amount of toxic people in my games completely dropped off in mid-gold, and then got 10x worse in low-plat. It almost feels impossible to win because of the amount of throwers and stupid arguments. However, I probably belong there anyways.
if it has a penis, its a he, if it has a vagina, its a she. quite simple. so it can call itself whatever it wants, but in biology, its one or the other. u mad?
I was having a really bad week and now this video makes me want to play Overwatch again. Thanks Sty. Hoping to get to silver. Love, Another Bronze D.Va PS. "This is madness. No this is Overwatch Bronze." I want to put it on a shirt.
I think the reason they're in Bronze is because they don't play comp enough to rank up, same thing I have, in qp my mmr actually matches me with high gold (1.9k) players but I don't play comp frequently so it doesn't fluctuate much EDIT: Watched more of the video and while my previous point still stands, ability usage/understanding may also be a large reason for their rank
I would love to see more of these. This is easily the best content on this channel. I would like to see some more scenarios where players are switching their heroes a lot instead of sticking with their picks.
"Hey, let me use the mic to do calls so that we can win the game!" Entire team leaves the voice channel. "Oh no, they are trying to defend in the wrong place! Let me politely help them so we can win the game!" No one cares. And then people say, "Hey, there is no such thing as ELO hell, if you want to improve, just improve your play and teamwork"...
JunkRat is garbage...especially at bronze and silver! If there is a specific choke or an area where you can spam nades mindlessly he can work, but in most instances there is a better character to choose. Most low level players think that JunkRat is good because they get kills or gold damage. Most of the kills they get are really minor damage they did with their teammate actually getting the kill. As for the gold damage in most cases JunkRat Damage does not result in elims. Just trash...or "junk" damage if you will!
I love these OverAnalyzed videos! So happy there will be two a week. Can't wait to watch them. I will be submitting a video of my own gameplay sometime soon. Hopefully it will make the cut!
Best thing was the Rein leaving the channel right before D.Va told him to come back. This was entertaining though, this player tries to learn and improve. (@Stylosa: Telling them on voice chat would do nothing, only the D.Va player was in the channel at that time if I counted right. Especially the Rein left the channel)
Honestly thank you for reviewing bronze replays without overly berating everything the person does and actually offering tips. I've seen so many vod reviews that really just aim to make bronze people feel worse instead of actually offering them help, but I gained a decent bit out of this! :D
sty is blind, people are leaving voice chat and he tells the player "you made them join the voice chat" and then gets angry when player does not speak to an empty audience...
Yes, do more than one a week! I love these. What I noticed in this video that you kind of highlighted, players need to make sure they don't die BUT they also need to protect their teammates and make sure they don't die.
What's going on with the sr distribution at the moment? getting 10-15 for a win and losing 25-25 for a loss? soon most episodes of overanalyzed will be of bronze players lol rip
If you are losing more elo per game then gaining elo per win, then the game thinks you don't deserve to be at that level and its trying to push you down to your deserved elo
Wow I respect this guy. He has the guts to livestream while he is in bronze, AND then also send that reply for criticue. Even though he is not good yet, he has the attitude and mindset to climb.
Sty, isn't the reason why that first Ult worked due to the fact that she put it on -top- of the payload? Or would they still have been able to hide behind the payload even if the ult was on top of the payload?
I like how I'm learning so much about OW from you! Tbh I didn't even think about throwing the D.VA bomb in the air. I just charge toward the enemy and then jump out the suit to use it. Thanks for the tips; gonna watch the rest of these X3
It's not bullshit. Maybe at bronze you cold get away with jumping around as a 150 HP hero with nothing but a pistol but anywhere else "useless" is exactly what you're being. You pick Diva for her matrix, high HP and ult combos. She has none of those if she's out of her mech and more importantly, any damage she does isn't building her ult. Should enemy start ulting or focusing your support by the time you re-mech to matrix it's already too late. So do yourself a favour. If you want to climb as Diva, re-mech ASAP, otherwise you're just perpetuating bad habits that aren't helping you improve your play. And if you disagree then you may as well start playing Tracer.
GeneralProfessor Btw I just wanted to let you know D.va's mech ult charge still charges when you're out of your mech. It's just a lot slower. I've had instances where I stayed out of my mech and by the time I called it in my ult was already at 40%.
Truly amazing right? I was gold when I had 20 hours total in the game and somehow there are people with hundreds or even 1000+ hours and still in bronze/silver/gold. Some people just never improve
As a person who thinks of playing overwatch after a long break, these videos highlighting fundamentals instead of highmmr decisionmaking is golden. I got one ploblem though when it comes to OW. I got NO clue when to switch to what heroes when things go south... A video with some fundamentals there would be much appreciated.
these bronze coaching videos are so helpful! I'm a gold decent healer main but I'm a really bad DPS/tank player so these simple tips make a difference!
DragonflyPlay They're bronze players are shit.Trust me.Some of them is Very arrogant. Some are very good and understanding.Im not Korean so whenever I have a full Korean team,I'll tell them to use English whenever they give calls. And they completely ignore me and when we lost, they call me a noob.sigh.well they don't regroup and give calls anyway.
List of ults D.va can eat 1. Zarya gravaton 2. Phara rocket barage 3. Roadhog whole hog 4. Soldier attack visor 5. Mccree deadeye 6. Hanzo Dragons (if your close enough to eat it as an arrow before it becomes dragons) 7. Mei blizzard 8. Tracer pulse bomb (only while it is airborne) 9. Bastion tank form 10. Reaper Deathblossom Some of these require you to be lucky but all of them I have done or seen done. Hope this helps :D
Sty i really enjoy the increased frequency of these vids, the more you do the better cause it really makes sense for me to learn from you with the help of our overwatch comrades, i know that you enjoy the discourse type videos but they are way too philosophical sometimes, more overanalyzed and thank you very much!
I liked the first Dva bomb, they were all positioned round the payload the the hop up on top can catch people out. The little jump up into the high ground was nice too!!
one thing thats great about sty is that he makes these coaching videos for lower players who are stuck at a rank and unlike most gms and high ranked players he doesn't just say get gud and flame them he tries to help.
Kyou maybe he/she played a lot of quick play and arcade games to have fun, and to have fun is the point of games, or maybe he/she stopped playing competitive because of mean people like you
HOW IS THERE A HUMAN BEING IN A TIER LIST IN OVERWATCH HAHAHAHAHA Dude you realize how this game works right? Levels don't equal rank at all. You can play all the time casually or just for fun, or have overwatch be your first competitive fps so you have trouble climbing.
As a d.va/widow main, knowing when to engage and disengage is a big part, knowing who is alive is important, and knowing when to ult.... (if your In a team fight and your going to die you could ult to increase your survivability and help the team)
Because everyone is playing on there own. Everything below Diamond is 90% solo play and 10% teamplay. Once you go below Gold it's literally a singleplayer game and if you're unable to carry on your own you usually loose.
It's actually easy to solo carry to Diamond. Learn to play Phara and you will have an easy time. People below Diamond rarely know how to counter a good Phara. And most people who play Soldier in lower rank dont have the accuracy to counter her if played well.
I rly like DVA on king's row. So vertical play on King's Row. - the canopy of the Alderworth hotel is a great spot to shoot Symmetra guns from and to push the enemy team out of their choke - the Widow's nest near the point and the high ledge in the streets they typically move to when they get a bit further - the windows past the book shop - the catwalk across the metro - the widow and pharah's nest in the factory Getting all those spots will screw with most teams.
I once asked a Zarya "How is your ult?", she replield "fine"...
dunno why but that made my day ahaha
Well, that made me lose that game XD
You made me laugh so hard XDDDD
Lucaskiteam 26 XDDD
I don't get it

Ayub Atif Mercy can carry easy down there
How can a Mercy carry when she's completely reliant on your team.
Mercy mains would benefit from queuing with another, preferably DPS to carry. Healing is great, but you can't carry a team with heals if they aren't able to kill the team. Eventually you get focused, and suddenly your entire team is rolled.

"dreaminhell has left the voice chat" thats brilliant youre making people join the voice chat ? ....
^this XD was like wtf it has had the complete opposite effect lol
Fraser s she was trying to get people to join. Just in bronze, some people don't want to play with a team.
Yeah, I saw that too, and then someone else left after that and he just kept praising it.
Hence, the bronze rank deservingly.
hes saying that its brilliant cause they joined just now

its funny how stylosa seems to be a dad to bronze people, like nice nice!
This dude is like the Gordon Ramsey of overwatch
No Ragtagg is.

she definitely talks like a girl and im pretty sure she has a ponytail
I bet you don't notice Sty's breathing between sentences.
Now you'll never unhear it
fuck
Why would you do this to me? I don't fuck up your life man.

One thing that you have to respect about bronze players is that they don't shoot Zarya's barriers, unlike all the other players.

What do you mean by less time to make plays? I really feel like you need to more fully explain this because I would rarely hear anyone say that shooting Zarya's shields on purpose is a good idea so the concept of doing so is incredibly foreign to me.
Stylosa said that he often just burns down her 200HP shield. Dead enemies can't make plays is what my amigo Tomas is trying to imply.
Tomáš Král Aah ok, I see. That makes sense :)
a big problem I notices was target prioritization. You would focus one target but then for some reason leave them and move onto the next. Focus one target, attacking one but not finishing it does nothing.

3:12 What about earthshatter and death blossom?.. Or earthshatter and riptire?? I agree that the comp isn't good, but if that's what they're going with, then those combos work.
Darkot Earthshatter won't last long enough for rip tire. Death blossom might work if the Rein would coordinate, but at this level...
Earthshatter Death Blossom is a waste, you can just walk forward and kill 1-2 as Reaper without death blossom, that makes it a won fight.
if that was the case every ult combos with each other
Victorious Secret I've done it before, both as the Rein and as the Junkrat. If you're close enough it works lmao
I like that you're uploading more of these. It's the best series on the channel imo.
I went from Silver (Nearly gold) to bronze. Imagine: 21 Elims all the gold medals, 6 Deaths. Loss.
Worst one was literally over in under 3 minutes, I had 4 Kills and six Deaths and was the best player on my team. I:
The problem with Bronze (Or even silver apparently) is once you are IN bronze, you HAVE to carry, and carry HARD, and it's hard when you have a Rien that doesn't use the shield, or a Mercy that stands in the front, or a solder that literally runs through the choke into Sym Turrets.
Sorry bro, just gotta keep trying :/
At least once you do get high up, you'll keep climbing fast because of how godly you've become :P
Sorry friend but....
Gold is just as bad I'm afraid XD
Ayub Atif was in gold last season. its not quite as bad, but still super bad. I find there are a lot more easy to tilt, always salty players in gold compared to silver.
Gold compared to silver is really good, then when you get to platinum it gets 10 times worse. This is coming from someone who climbed from around 1600 sr to 2500 sr this season. The amount of toxic people in my games completely dropped off in mid-gold, and then got 10x worse in low-plat. It almost feels impossible to win because of the amount of throwers and stupid arguments. However, I probably belong there anyways.
Hey, I've played with this person
This player doesn't belong in bronze imo
Huzufu nice pfp
Fake Frank Hahahah
Yeah they do belong in bronze
Do a grandmaster Genji console player, there has to be one out there
Alucard?
That would be me!
Not quite top 500
Brian Doan there's gotta be a 12 yr old genji main being carried out there
This was me in early season 2. I'm now high platinum and very super happy with it, and I want to thank you. Your tips have 100 percent made me better.
Definitely give us 2 OverAnalyzed a week. My favorite of your series. Plan on uploading a vid for this soon
That's a girl, Stylosa, stop saying "he"
I don't know if the peron above me is sarcastic or not. help
person*
Oscar Azgriel I can't tell if your memeing or being serious
Oscar Azgriel Aww someone is triggered!
It is adorable!
if it has a penis, its a he, if it has a vagina, its a she. quite simple. so it can call itself whatever it wants, but in biology, its one or the other. u mad?
I was having a really bad week and now this video makes me want to play Overwatch again. Thanks Sty. Hoping to get to silver.
Love, Another Bronze D.Va
PS. "This is madness. No this is Overwatch Bronze." I want to put it on a shirt.
I think the reason they're in Bronze is because they don't play comp enough to rank up, same thing I have, in qp my mmr actually matches me with high gold (1.9k) players but I don't play comp frequently so it doesn't fluctuate much
EDIT: Watched more of the video and while my previous point still stands, ability usage/understanding may also be a large reason for their rank
I would love to see more of these. This is easily the best content on this channel. I would like to see some more scenarios where players are switching their heroes a lot instead of sticking with their picks.
Hey man, love these Analyazed videos. You're such a positive influence on Overwatch players! We need more of you
"Hey, let me use the mic to do calls so that we can win the game!" Entire team leaves the voice channel. "Oh no, they are trying to defend in the wrong place! Let me politely help them so we can win the game!" No one cares.
And then people say, "Hey, there is no such thing as ELO hell, if you want to improve, just improve your play and teamwork"...
Why don't you make a separate email for console games
Ibzz That... is actually not a bad idea
Ibzz cause they suck more
Evan Da Wolf lol ok
Evan Da Wolf i dont like you.......
Evan Da Wolf We get it. You're part of the "PC Masterrace rawr ecksdee", now go back into your corner.
This is your standard Bronze Silver team comps I am stuck with. With the obligatory JunkRat.
ERX825 junkrat is a good character though
ERX825 Junkrat is trash
Mr Good Looks But when your trying to climb why the fuck wouldn't you just choose a meta pick and give your team the best chance of winning.
ERX825 i started picking attack junkrat and its working at a diamond tier level
I love these OverAnalyzed videos! So happy there will be two a week. Can't wait to watch them. I will be submitting a video of my own gameplay sometime soon. Hopefully it will make the cut!
Do as many as possible, best series on youtube and best OW-content I've seen. Thanks a bunch Sty!
Sty, let's up the OverAnalyzed to 5 a week. You don't need any personal time. ;)
actual footage of timthetatman's dva gameplay :D kappa
Dont need to say Kappa there Kappa
Levi Vosti wtf is a kappa
some guy pleb
Honestly thank you for reviewing bronze replays without overly berating everything the person does and actually offering tips. I've seen so many vod reviews that really just aim to make bronze people feel worse instead of actually offering them help, but I gained a decent bit out of this! :D
Keep this series up man it's so good I'd love it to be two a week
sty is blind, people are leaving voice chat and he tells the player "you made them join the voice chat" and then gets angry when player does not speak to an empty audience...
Rafał Zygadło still good practice to call out even if there's no one there
OH MY GOD! FINALLY A D.VA OVERANALYZED! I REALLY NEEDED SOME TIPS ON HER! Oh wait. It's a bronze player? Will this work for me in Platinum? Maybeeeee
If this is bronze then what am *i*
Teo Mussalo gay
Teo Mussalo probably stone or wood
Teo Mussalo Asian bronze = US gold
Copper
Teo Mussalo wood
This series has helped me improve on overwatch so so much thank you stylosa!!
Yes, do more than one a week! I love these.
What I noticed in this video that you kind of highlighted, players need to make sure they don't die BUT they also need to protect their teammates and make sure they don't die.
D.va out of mech is not useless...
Jon Betz Not useless in a 1v1 but pretty useless to her team :P
Jon Betz dva's best ability is then not getting used. The only reason dva is good is because of her Defense matrix. Tbh
Fu Jian Hé Hagedoorn false idiot
JackarooJax that is pretty true what i just said.
Fu Jian Her defend matrix is useless now she is more of a dps than a tank, her rockets are powerful now
7:42 got an audible laugh out of me
What's going on with the sr distribution at the moment? getting 10-15 for a win and losing 25-25 for a loss? soon most episodes of overanalyzed will be of bronze players lol rip
Adam Giannaros then the game is telling you that the current sr your at is to high for you
Adam Giannaros I'm going up, so I'm not sure what you're talking about exactly.
lol i get 50 for a win and 12 for a loss at 3250 its so gud
If you are losing more elo per game then gaining elo per win, then the game thinks you don't deserve to be at that level and its trying to push you down to your deserved elo
What if you're always getting 24? 24 up for a win and 24 down for a loss. Every time.
I love stylosa purely bc he gets genuinely excited when these players make good plays; hes like a parent.
Wow I respect this guy. He has the guts to livestream while he is in bronze, AND then also send that reply for criticue. Even though he is not good yet, he has the attitude and mindset to climb.
Here come people saying he/she/apache helicopter is bad before even looking at the video....
thats a girl...
Obvious Troll, But You Got Baited Anyway no its a fork
LowEloPlayer "apache helicopter" just brought back memories 😂
LowEloPlayer well he/she is pretty awful considering they're bronze.... don't need to watch the video to say that they are bad when they obviously are
+LowEloPlayer LOL!
Let me guess, good aim, bad positioning.
_i wonder where you got that from_
lol
nah, her team left voice chat and were complete and utter garbage.
She made calls that went completely ignored. Very little you can do about that.
GET THE HIGH GROUND
D Mar Relatable
Sty, isn't the reason why that first Ult worked due to the fact that she put it on -top- of the payload? Or would they still have been able to hide behind the payload even if the ult was on top of the payload?
they're in bronze, they panic when they hear ults going off
Silver-Bronze DVa main here, this is soooo helpful! I love this series, thank you so much for making these
I'm happy to have more frequent overanalyzed! I think you should go for it.
i can smell the salt from the wannabe pros here :P
Can u do a vid on how not to die with zens ult? :3
Who else loves these more than the game😂
my god..... i cant stop watching these because there so amazing
I like how I'm learning so much about OW from you! Tbh I didn't even think about throwing the D.VA bomb in the air. I just charge toward the enemy and then jump out the suit to use it. Thanks for the tips; gonna watch the rest of these X3
All that "dva is useless out of her mech" talk is a bunch of bullshit.
Shes a big immobile target? Immobile? What? She has one of the most versatile mobility abilities in the game...
GeneralProfessor
GeneralProfessor Btw I just wanted to let you know D.va's mech ult charge still charges when you're out of your mech. It's just a lot slower. I've had instances where I stayed out of my mech and by the time I called it in my ult was already at 40%.
GeneralProfessor 111hrs+ with dva and i said its bullshit. Idc about nothin else
lvl 500+ in bronze... really...
wel grat
Aleksi Ahoniemi diver
Truly amazing right? I was gold when I had 20 hours total in the game and somehow there are people with hundreds or even 1000+ hours and still in bronze/silver/gold. Some people just never improve
lvl 513, I'll place gold every season, then drop like a lead balloon.
Aleksi Ahoniemi Quick play player?
If your on PC, it's hard not to have good aim
FaZe Chicken Caesar Salad lmao, u try then console peasant with ur aim assist
Ow3n L.
Ow3n I'm a console player. Pc is easy and most of the time I have aim assistance off. Console gives me more of a challenge.
TheRadientYamicorn pc doesn't have aim assistance
TheRadientYamicorn ye its more of a challenge because the controller is aids
As a person who thinks of playing overwatch after a long break, these videos highlighting fundamentals instead of highmmr decisionmaking is golden. I got one ploblem though when it comes to OW. I got NO clue when to switch to what heroes when things go south... A video with some fundamentals there would be much appreciated.
these bronze coaching videos are so helpful! I'm a gold decent healer main but I'm a really bad DPS/tank player so these simple tips make a difference!
wait... a korean... in bronze? is this faked?
She looks just Asian to me cant say if its korean. And they also have Bronze Players in Korean. Just no body knows :o
DragonflyPlay So Koreans aren't Asians???
DragonflyPlay They're bronze players are shit.Trust me.Some of them is Very arrogant. Some are very good and understanding.Im not Korean so whenever I have a full Korean team,I'll tell them to use English whenever they give calls. And they completely ignore me and when we lost, they call me a noob.sigh.well they don't regroup and give calls anyway.
1. To DragonflyPlay: She is a Southeast Asian Chinese. Take note of how she types certain words.
They are but not every Asian is Chinese
I bet stylosa supports Liverpool
Can't you carry yourself out of bronze by playing dps?
well yes if you aswnt you hacn do iy
What's the fastest way to bronze then?
Feeling It To Bronze? Main Sombra. She's not bad but you'll get so many throwers and leavers that you'll drop like a rock.
i main and basically almost one trick sombra and got from silver to plat :c
I already main widow and people throw sometimes, Maybe hanzo?
This is my favourite series on RUclips just now so more episodes YESSSSSSSS
List of ults D.va can eat
1. Zarya gravaton
2. Phara rocket barage
3. Roadhog whole hog
4. Soldier attack visor
5. Mccree deadeye
6. Hanzo Dragons (if your close enough to eat it as an arrow before it becomes dragons)
7. Mei blizzard
8. Tracer pulse bomb (only while it is airborne)
9. Bastion tank form
10. Reaper Deathblossom
Some of these require you to be lucky but all of them I have done or seen done. Hope this helps :D
3:20 "no combos possible". (with a Rein and a junkrat, a dva, and a reaper)
u fuken wut sty?
How Dare you call a D.va without her mech useless! How could you say that!
Zebulon Zebulon Not useless in a 1v1 but useless to her team. :/
coz she has no mobility whatsoever and very easy to kill
Cuz its true
Oh man, believe me. Baby D. Va is pretty good at staying at the payload during Overtime. Hopping around till team comes
1:50 "we got a junkrat which you know is is kind of the way how these... fucking noobs play"
Sty i really enjoy the increased frequency of these vids, the more you do the better cause it really makes sense for me to learn from you with the help of our overwatch comrades, i know that you enjoy the discourse type videos but they are way too philosophical sometimes, more overanalyzed and thank you very much!
9:56 lmao "That, ladies and gentlemen.... ...... ..... ...... is crazy."
it is so hard not to flame a bronze diva while making this video. Kudos to you Sty for not wrecking this kid
Where did the new intro go?
its shit so he deleted it
Is this easy mode?
your mom is easy mom
I guess?
I liked the first Dva bomb, they were all positioned round the payload the the hop up on top can catch people out. The little jump up into the high ground was nice too!!
one thing thats great about sty is that he makes these coaching videos for lower players who are stuck at a rank and unlike most gms and high ranked players he doesn't just say get gud and flame them he tries to help.
He didn't use the eye tracker because he would be looking at his face all the time :D
kron os her*
I luv u daddy sty
HOW IS THERE A LV. 500 IN BRONZE ON THE OTHER TEAM HAHAHAH
Kyou it is very mean to laugh at people in this matter. Imagine if YOU were a lvl 500 in bronze how would you feel if somebody laughed at you ?!
Kyou maybe he/she played a lot of quick play and arcade games to have fun, and to have fun is the point of games, or maybe he/she stopped playing competitive because of mean people like you
HOW IS THERE A HUMAN BEING IN A TIER LIST IN OVERWATCH HAHAHAHAHA
Dude you realize how this game works right? Levels don't equal rank at all. You can play all the time casually or just for fun, or have overwatch be your first competitive fps so you have trouble climbing.
I mean I'm a level 380 in low plat, level doesn't equal skill.
chill
that dva bomb in part one was perfect. she put it on the cart so you cant hide behind it
As a d.va/widow main, knowing when to engage and disengage is a big part, knowing who is alive is important, and knowing when to ult.... (if your In a team fight and your going to die you could ult to increase your survivability and help the team)
Lemme guess, good aim bad positioning...
How can these guys be so low when they play the *easiest* hero in the game?
Because everyone is playing on there own. Everything below Diamond is 90% solo play and 10% teamplay. Once you go below Gold it's literally a singleplayer game and if you're unable to carry on your own you usually loose.
Skullflower Wow i just realised that its true :o
Teo Mussalo bronze is basically more cancerous quickplay, that's how people get stuck there
Exactly THIS !
I tried to go to plat' But I'm staying between 2200 and 2300.. :/
It's actually easy to solo carry to Diamond. Learn to play Phara and you will have an easy time. People below Diamond rarely know how to counter a good Phara. And most people who play Soldier in lower rank dont have the accuracy to counter her if played well.
Am I the only one here who thought that person was a guy at first?
Haven't even watched yet but I love this series! More episodes will be very welcome.
I rly like DVA on king's row.
So vertical play on King's Row.
- the canopy of the Alderworth hotel is a great spot to shoot Symmetra guns from and to push the enemy team out of their choke
- the Widow's nest near the point and the high ledge in the streets they typically move to when they get a bit further
- the windows past the book shop
- the catwalk across the metro
- the widow and pharah's nest in the factory
Getting all those spots will screw with most teams.
