Microsoft needs to focus on games not a powerful console. Yes the 4K is nicer than ps4 but no exclusives. The switch is what I play most. They focus on the games. I’m 38 I remember Atari. Graphics are nice but games are why I buy it.

I'm the second I take my switch to work as well that was the reason I bought it, I take it to work when I work at night and I play all night awesome.
PC is a must, regardles if you game on it or not. I would then buy PS4 and/or Switch.
You can live with PS4 or PC for gaming alone but Switch is only a side kick to PC or PS4 in my opinion. Some may disagree about this but this is only my opinion.
One thing is clear tho'...XBOX One X is a no go, it has not enough exclusive games.

I had a desk job and I had to take my breaks in between phone calls but on weekends and midnight's, I was on every shift cause people called off and I pulled 16 hour shifts but I played games and I took my ps3 with a 7 inch screen in a duffel bag. I put the bag on the floor and used my TV on the desk. It was just a yellow red and white hook up but on a 7 in screen and I just had to plug in 2 cords after unzipping the bag all the way for ventilation, I was gaming and getting paid and my boss even would come by and ask how was the game going and I would show him and sometimes he would play with me. It was awesome. I just answered the phone and set up conference rooms when I needed to but it was awesome. I was told that I was the best worker cause I did everything I was supposed to and I felt like I only played games that day. It was only minimum wage but I sometimes pulled 90 hours a week cause everyone else either got fired for sleeping or they would call off. I would answer the phone and tell my boss that I was covering for the person and go back to gaming. I had the TV for watching movies or I would use the cable wire from the waiting room TV with a splitter for cable tv. I miss that job but I went over the road semi driving and I had to better myself cause minimum wage doesn't work forever, even though I got pay cuts over the road and I sometimes would rather be back at that job. Yeah the switch is easier to game out and about but most of the time your tied to a outlet anyways, a console and a small TV would still work but if your playing in short bursts and moving to different locations, the switch is going to be number one but if you only have a console and want to game somewhere away from home and you can get a small TV like preferably smaller than a 10 inch, you could go with what I did. Just make sure that you open the bag and don't block the vents. Have the power cords easy to pull out and you can set it up pretty fast. Some people even use a battery but if you want to go that far, I would just recommend the switch. I had the TV but those TV'S new, are usually a little higher priced for a thin one with hdmi. Mine doesn't have hdmi so I only use it when I don't have power or if I want to watch something on TV. My phone basically replaced the TV for the most part. I have played the switch a few times and with the games coming, I want one. Crash on the go and maybe spyro is nostalgic heaven and breath of the wild and oddessy looks awesome. Smash bros and mariokart bring back memories as well. People say that Nintendo lost this year but I don't think so. Sony did better but I don't think anyone really lost. Xbox has that game pass which looks cool to. I don't have a xbox but that caught my attention. Gaming is supposed to be fun and in my opinion, if your having fun, that's all that matters. Yeah some people don't care for any of the Nintendo games and that's fine but I would like to play them and past Nintendo games were great in my opinion but I love my og ps4 and I like playing on my friends xbox. Forza is one of my favorite, if not my favorite racing series. My friend has the xbox one x and I feel kinda left out after going back to 1080p for a few days but resolution is eye candy and it's awesome but at the end I just like letting go of tech specs and everyday life to play a game and get lost. I don't do drugs but gaming is kinda my drug. Lol.
The Switch is games though. I buy Switch for Nintendo Games period. The games are solid too. I have a 3DS and love it for the games.
Similar line up here got a Gaming PC 7700K/GTX 1080 Ti for PC/Xbox games, PS4 Pro & Nintendo Switch as portable handheld only

I'm a Xbox guy because all my friends and games and I have invested into the Xbox Eco system , but if I was starting from scratch I would choose the PS4 , Playstation just have the best exclusives .

The Xbox one X being the most powerful console, with 4k blu-ray, Backwards compatibility, even enhanced to 4k. Improves framerates, loading times and image quality for any game non-enhanced. And the Gamepass is brilliant. this is the top quality option.
For PS4 exclusives, I would go for the PS4 slim instead of the Pro, and the X1X for all the rest of the games.
Roy Cruz I agree with most of what you said but I would get the ps4pro for PlayStation exclusives. Those are the games that look best with high end checkboard rendering.

I just ordered a PS pro.
Seeming as my parents have split up, consoles have been a problem with accessibility between me and my brother. In our houses we have each of the 4 consoles and i can happily say the switch suits me the best because i can take the thing to and from their houses.

As a multi platform owner, I find owning them all to be pointless. Nobody that games seriously has enough time to play everything they all offer along with 3rd party games. That's just a reality. It's nearly impossible for you to be purchasing every exclusive or major 3rd party and actually finishing them across the board. Not to mention countless hours sunk in multiplayer modes of games which subtracts from doing the above as well. Note I said seriously, so if you game here and there it's especially a waste for you. I find you will end up playing 1 exponentially more than the others.
I couldn't agree more. I work a full time job and it is so hard to get time to play anything. For perspective i havent even finished HZD yet on PS and still have been buying so many games afterwards.

toolshedvideo I own a Xbox one s, PlayStation slim and a gaming pc. I never picked up the Nintendo switch I just didn’t like the titles when it launched. I used to play my 3ds a lot but got bored of the titles. I prefer console to pc also just my preference though. I just got bloodborne today and Horizon Zero Dawn also. I am very late coming in on PlayStation but I just got bored on Xbox until Halo 6 comes out. When I compare PlayStation and Xbox it’s like comparing Android to IOS. I prefer IOS’s ui just as I prefer Xbox’s ui. Tbh though I really only bought PlayStation so I can The Last of Us 2😂😂.

Amir Rad god of war saw a proper conclusion with the 3rd game. Digging this IP up is little more than a mistake if done right. The uncharted series has been weak and boring since the second. Horizon zero dawn is one of the dumbest looking games I've ever seen you should just pick up technomancer at that rate to at least get a decent story. The true failure of PlayStation first party games is the last of us. This game is incredible in it's sales and even presents a quality story enough to barely warrant it's price tag while having a sadly mediocre game in the rest of it's infrastructure. This doesn't really matter too much in the end as over 90% of PlayStation users don't even bother with first party games. There are plenty of reasons to determine a person's preference for console such as where your friends go, if you want the exclusives(sony has a great jrpg lineup), or you've had past problems with competitors to the console you go with( if only one). The funny thing is many "exclusives" ps fanboys mention are rereleases of old games. If only there was a console that took backwards compatibility and exclusives into consideration.... Oh wait you could get an xbox XD

Cheers mate. One X for me... Right now. I want to play racers at their best. Without spending £600-700 on a pc. F1 2017 runs like a dream on the OneX. It has nasty screen tear on the PS4 pro.. so that kind of made my mind up... Not too bothered about the pro's hack n slash exclusives
Buy all 3 and a high rig gaming pc. There is no law stating you can only own one platform.

When I bought the switch I had buyers remorse at first but a few weeks later I can’t leave home with out it! I always put in backpack 🎒 along with my keys, wallet and phone 📱 so I never forget it or leave without it!

I'm a huge fan of the PS4 Pro. I own a C7 LG OLED TV w/ LG ATMOS soundbar. I have began frustrated with the lack of updates or options. What I mean by that is XBOX One X has coming out with constant and heavy hit firmware updates (2.1 HDMI future proofed features like 120hz 1440p dolby atmos, uncompressed audio options amongst other things users with surround sounds or 4k TV (OLED). XBOX continues to blow me out of the water with there feature updates. PS4 PRO came out with the Supersampling but it only benefits people with 1080p I must say the more updates XBOX ONE X comes out with the more I'm tempted to change. I'm only getting full usage out of my OLED OR ATMOS SOUNDBAR. Sony needs to focus back now on firmware updates until they can get hardware out. I'm disappointed in the lack of options has. Theres more to accessed. If PS5 is 2 to 3 years away you guys have do something to hold us over.

Thank you for your video. Here my opinion:)The price is getting down right now on the X box one x and they have exclusives too. I am an experienced gamer. I play games like Battlefield, Call of duty, Destiny, Skyrim, Forza, Project cars, The elder scrolls online, Tekken The Witcher and others. My history and change in systems are. PC, PS2, PC, X box 360, PS4, XBOX one, PS4, PS4 pro - and now X box one x! For me its essential feeling like i was there myself, if possible. That means first of all quality picture, great graphics, lightning, draw distance, sound and fluid framerate. I got away from PC mostly because of the compromises you always have to make and the difficult adaptions many times - unless u want to pay a lot of money and upgrade every year. So consoles. They work emmediately. Easy. And then you play. Right now i have the best console on the market. There is nothing to discuss. The Xbox one x. I changed from the PS4 pro a week ago and i am happy. I bought 6 games with it and my doubts are away. Completely. Forza 7, Halo 5, Call of duty ww2, Destiny 2, The elder scrolls online and The rise of the Tomb Raider. I own a 49 inches tv with HDR and 4K. All of these games (except forza and Halo 5 which are xbox exclusives and not need to be mentioned) look much better, more details, better lightning effects, better draw distance, better framerate and even better sound. Really a big difference you can easily see. I sit only 1,5 meters away, so i know:) I am in awe. For the first time i own a console which satisfies me completely - and no. I am not paid :) Then there is no noise at all at the XBox one X and the way it works mechanical is much better too. There is no comparison. Why i changed is mostly because of the coming great titles, Battlefield 5, Fallout 2076 and others which will represent i guess some of the best gaming experiences ever untill now. Dice directly advices you to play it on the X one. U can see that on their promotion vids. I understand why. Sony made the mistake! Not upgrading the PS 4 pro enough. The x box one X gets so close to the very best high end PC's that the difference is something you can hardly see. Here you get native 4K, HDR and a better framerate and often sound too. Microsoft is lowering the price on the x one x now. My advise for the serious console gamers. Go buy one. I promise you will not b disappointed. There are x exclusives too, though a little more for the Sony, but the great serious titles. Do not worry:) There is world wide sold around 77 million playstations and around 30 million X boxes. lets get the number up on X box. No problems finding someone to play with on the X, but the more we are, the better:)
I own ps4 pro and xbox one 's, I don't even own a switch , but hand down switch the best console for it versatility. Seriously, sometime, you just has to spend time shopping with you family/gf, this are great companion.

Man tell me about graphics is cool but most people dont give a rats ass they can see 3 extra hairs more than they did on the other one that being said the power is cool but at this stage they're so similar you have to really squint to see the difference it's about the games and decent graphics
You can get the PS Vita or whatever it's called to connect your PS4 using share play & you can take it wherever long as you got Wi-Fi or something like that

Well the console you buy depends on the games that you want to play. I myself have chosen to go with the Switch and Xbox One S, both for first party games and third party games. No X because graphics aren't a reason to buy a new console imo and nothing Sony because I'm not investing in a pile of new but unproven ips, along with established properties I don't care for, and a ton of third party titles than can be played on the Xbox. That is my pick this gen..

I mean the only design i like from these consoles is the switch when it's handheled. The xbox looks like a....box and the ps4 like.... a stack of books.

I honestly didn’t really want a switch myself, my little brother really wanted it so we both went to buy one. After playing it for a few months I am proud to say that this revolutionary device is my favorite console ever. After the ability of handheld you never use a TV and the Switch literally had the b st games I’ve ever played like BotW, sm odyssey, Skyrim, splatoon, and etc. I never even play on my ps4 anymore because I always play on the switch

The only reason I bought a PS4 is for VR. That is a truly new thing (VR thats actually good) and I hate that no one mentions it in comparisons. Had it not been for VR I wouldnt have even bothered with an 8th Gen. 7th gen consoles have an amazing library of good looking and good playing games.
I have all 3 and my favorite is the switch, I'm a Nintendo person cause that's what I grew up on, but i do love the others a lot

It’s all about games and I kept my PS4 was for JRPG’s and a few exclusives I suggest anyone on the bubble make a list games your really want to play then buy that system . I don’t have Switch I’m kinda done with the Mario games but I still recommend the system

Companys only care about sales of the consoles because it means there are more people to by the services which is where they really make the money the console price just covers the hardware cost so I don't know why people compare sale about who does better this is why first party Xbox games are on windows because they get money from the games and services not the console
Excellent point! In fact when the PS3 came out it was sold at a loss based on this premise. However sales do indicate one thing, the number of households with one console vs another. I think if you combined the sales of games on xbox one and pc and then compared to playstation it would be pretty close. PC is never even counted most of the time. Nice thought tho!

Microsoft is announcing some cool stuff for the Xbox One X, they're bringing an update to the HDMI interface to HDMI 2.1, which means FreeSync, dynamic HDR, and 120fps (or close to it) among other things.

First off price shouldn’t have that much of impact on which you buy unless you don’t work or have any money it should be based on what games you want to play I have a Pro and I have the X I prefer the One X for true HD gaming or anything else like 4K blu rays since the pro doesn’t support Ultra 4K discs . If your choice is based mainly on money you should go Nintendo Switch for price and for the classic games .Btw I have the Star Wars Pro version and mine was not working properly right out of the box and I had to call Sony for a fix . I also think XBL still beats the PlayStation store but Sony’s store is 300 times better it was on a the PS3 . The borrow line again BUY the system that has the games YOU want to play and not what anyone recommends .
So I like your thought process a lot actually. But the one thing I disagree with you on is the money aspect. If money wasn't an issue nobody would mention price tags in comparisons. Suppose the system and games you prefer are out of your budget for the foreseeable future, does that mean you shouldn't buy anything? I would say settle with what you can afford that works for you. Consider the same when purchasing a car, price matters obviously, I mean Hey I would love to own a nice fancy sports car but my budget allows me to have a murano or accord instead so yeah. Nonetheless I do agree that one should most certainly consider what games they are into before making a purchase decision, but one more thing to keep in mind is that Xbox and playstation for the most part have the same games with the exception of exclusives. If you like Mario then obviously Nintendo is the only option, but for those who want to play most AAA titles it comes down to Xbox and playstation and between the two there are several options hence the need for my two cents in my video. Lol.
The money thing is based on the difference in cost Xbox One X $100 more then a PS4 Pro so that’s the cost of one game here since games go for $59.99 plus tax and you can’t buy 2 games and I believe the Switch is $200 less then an X so it’s still always about games since i wouldn’t recommend to someone to buy the cheapest system since you would sacrifice getting to play the games YOU want to PLAY but don’t forget using the pro and X or Xbox s you really need to have a TV that supports HDR which is another whole money issue and to be honest you want a TV that supports HDR 10 to get the full 4K anything experience so for the true HD experience it’s going to cost you... Buy the system that has the games you want to play or your gaming experience will suffer .

Playstation + Nintendo + PC (for PC and microsoft exclusives). That's the fuckin' way of the samurai.
PC is just like having a m4 bmw over a camaro ss, the m4 is only a split second faster around a track and cost quite a bit more but the quality and feel is smoother and premium feeling in the bmw which is why it cost you a bit more money. Even though performance isn’t that big of a difference.

@@georgerabus9314Right now in my opinion microsoft can't even compare to ps4 and switch.They don't have many worthwhile exclusives and the difference between the 4k experience that the x gives compared to the pro is not worth 100$ especially when most peaople don't have access to 4k(not sure about this).I do agree tho that backwards compatibility is a big plus for xbox but still not good enough.(the controler is debatable and 100% smth personal).The switch is smth you can't compare to them because it does everything so differently.

I have a PS4, a switch, a laptop that's able to play a few games that I got from school and a stationary PC that is built for gaming. Don't see a real reason to buy an XBOX since I'm not too much into Multiplayer and every game on the XBOX exists on the platforms I have. I might get an XBOX controller since I've heard it's great, but I won't get an XBOX this generation.

I just quit PC gaming and honestly its not worth the time or money. To get the performance that the PC Master Race loves to brag about you need to spend a small fortune (and anybody telling you you can build a gaming PC for 500 dollars is full of shit because windows alone cost 100 dollars and a passable video card cost about 2-3 hundred dollars)and the returns aren't all that great. Sure you get higher frame rates and better graphics but the games you have to play are mostly shitty console ports, all of the bullshit asset flips on steam and a plethora for anime "games" and carbon copy RTS games.

i always was a pc gamer - since 94 - and i newer interested in consoles then when ps4 came out mrs got one for my birthday . since then i chowed up 3 controllers :) then my 3years old kicked me out from my bed so i ended up spending most of my time in the living room witch is the farthest room from the master br. pc room is the closest . anyway long story short all i play now consols :) (newer thought it will happen :))) ) so just in the past because i newer change gamplay was and it is and will be the most important for me graphics is secondary if the gear can hit high or high ish medium level i and i digging the gp it's haven for me. ps4 or the pro is the first go for me because as u said the huge library that's it . then i felt hungry to play these days called retro games and bought a 360s . games at my local CEX goes between £0.50 to £5 i bought all my fav titles so ill no re-live my child -teenager -and part of my adulthood with 2 consoles and my pc dusting into nothingness :)))
yeah ps just because of the damn exclusives and xbox for all the rest .

im torn between two consoles... Ps4 pro maybe has a lot more exclusive games, more popular and cheaper, but Xbox has backward compatibility, meaning i can stack a pile of xbox games and still be able to use them everytime they release a new model...
Hey, I’d like everyone’s opinion.
I invested a long time ago in the xbox ecosystem, more than friends is the digital games I buckled up. I consider myself an above average gamer and when I have the time I like to play for long periods, been playing since I was 4-5, so it’s like a way of life you could say.
I don’t usually care about graphics that much, not even the “4K HDR”, with the exception of loading times and a rocksteady FPS (locked on 30 or 60 but locked) so its immersive.
In that regard, my xbx1 broke down and want to buy a new one but don’t know if the S or the X.
I don’t plan buying another system besides one of the two soon, since I’ll start college and stuff. I think the S is a good offer since I won’t spend that much time playing in a year or so. However since I don’t plan on buying a console besides the two soon, I feel like the S is gonna become outdated and besides, it’s gonna make me waste time on loading screens (The difference isn’t much but it stacks up depending on the game).
I also plan on playing Nier Automata, Black Desert Online, Metro and Devil May Cry. (Own Nier but Xbox broke before even being able to play it).
So I’d like to know people’s opinions, which one should I get for the long run?
