I met my wife at a Toro y Moi show. This music/art is so powerful at every level. Love the photo shots in beginning and the camera spin as he gets back to the car.

This album is incredibly beautiful and filled with a special atmosphere. I feel the echoes of old-school music in it. I've listened to it about 20 times in the last month and I'm not bored with the music at all. On the contrary, each time you feel each track differently and experience new emotions. Sometimes it is nostalgia for the passed time, sometimes it is happiness, sometimes it is a pleasant sadness. Thank you, Toro y Moi, for this wonderful experience.
Literally couldn’t have said it better myself, detailing this project 💯 indeed we appreciate you Toro y moi, thanks for all your jams including this one!
Completely agree. I love this album to death and this video is such a perfect companion piece to listen to it with. It's such a breezy nostalgic trip and I never get tired of it. One of the few albums I can leave on without even feeling the need to skip a single track. By far my favorite Toro album even with all his other classics.

my boyfriend and I met in October-November of 2017. He was listening to this a lot at the time. I've heard the album before but I'm just watching this for the first time today and I got so nostalgic and happy when he drove through Berkeley and Girl Like You was playing. That whole section with Berkeley in it I was like "I've ran through these streets!" My bf and I met in Berkeley while he lived in SF so we'd travel back and forth a lot, hanging out in each city (listening to toro and others). We live together in sf now :1. Anyways, I love this! Thank you toro for sharing the sights you've seen and the art you've made

I was studying abroad in Ireland when this video/album came out and I remember coming home drunk from a night out at the Dublin pubs and I couldn't sleep. I pulled open RUclips on my laptop and I saw Toro Y Moi dropped his new project with a visualizer film that complimented the album, and I still remember the mesmerizing and ethereal feeling watching this vid while still smashed at 2:30 AM. Brings back good times and good memories
Wow that's similar to my experience. I was an intern in Galway when this came out. The view and the music gave me chills, I felt connected to home. Now it reminds me of my time spent blowing shit up in shock tubes; drinking til the pubs started closing; watching Naked and Afraid or Game of Thrones in my friend's tiny apt off the main square; then walking home drunk through the old town, across a stone bridge, past the cathedral and through the university. The weekdays were lonely but the weekends were so much fun.
I ferment when it dropped I got so excited when I started it and realized it was one giant video for the whole album. I sat there in my dark room with this on my TV just taking it all in
I feel you brother, every break up I’ve had toro y moi has been there with his music and not just break ups, personal issue too his music is always there, truly an amazing artist.

Toro y moi has been my favorite group ever since I heard "still sound" at my birthday party on jan 24th 2015. I even got to see them in concert in May 2015 when they came to Toronto. I love Chaz and the whole crew. This album will definitely carry me through the summer. I love that Toro y moi always comes with the most unique sounds and never stays the same

After 5 years, this gives me nostalgia of driving the scenic highway near my city during the Summer of the last day of Senior Year in high school! Amazing times I won't get to experience again.
This album came out when my life hit rock bottom, me and my girl had just broke up and we have a small boy together, I left all my friends and family back home since I’ve moved to Florida with her, then shortly after she got pregnant with someone else. This album really meant everything to me at the time. ❤️😒
Same boat man...I had just went through a devastating breakup that had rocked me to the core...I was so close to the dark, and then like randomly this stream appeared in my recommends and fucking blew me away, I ended up crying by my first listen of Labyrinth...Weeks past this album stayed on repeat while I worked out and got myself back together, made enough money to buy the album digitally and even met another girl...that was like 2018 and I still listen to this stream almost monthly, I am trying to get into Soul Trash and Outer Peace but this album will always be locked in my heart as a playlist that changed my life.
Ray Mundo on the contrary for me, when this album came out, My life full of Happiness & pure feelings, I felt at peace, with my life, summer 2017 has to be by far my favorite time periods for my life, This album speaks loudly.. yet softly, & when life did become shitty, this record pulled me through 😌 outer peace & soul trash didn’t really make an impact on me, but I still respect them, in my books, BOO BOO is a classic, literally a chapter in my life, that I don’t regret 🌻
I regret not going to your concert the time this album came out. I bought couple of CDs and vinyls of yours when I would regularly go to Amoeba Records.
This makes me so nostalgic for home, I watch this video and remember all the amazing times I had growing up in the east bay. I live in Portland now but every time I watch this I really consider moving back.
I was in school in SF when this came out, so seeing this video back then was a treat. I was so fucking stressed out during the time.. nothing was working out. I remember getting in my car, putting this album on and driving out of the city just to get away from all the bullshit. This album belongs to one of my favorite memories.
The stream is so amazing. For some reason as a millennial, the luscious synths and popping drums of the 80s still evoke a sense of saudade, but it mixes with the very real nostalgia of my college days at Berkeley as he drives by the streets I walked every day. It somehow presents a duality, the rose-colored glory of college days that were both there and never there. I didn't know I could feel these feels.
This video concept is awesome! it's like everything in one! instagram, a "the making of: instagram" , an album reveal/stream, background video for your music, animated video, with no loop, it iS a music video, no it's a MOVIE, it's a tour of the bay. An art gallery in motion! What an inspiration! Shout out to Chaz!
Man this is fire.... Wow I am so greatful to have encountered this beautiful frequency..... Wow... Thank u father God... U bless us with so much... God bless all.... Happy Thanksgiving 2018....
God damn you this damn album had me crying it has such a 80s essence playing this in the morning and felt like I was getting ready for Jefferson junior high in Belmont Shores California and my mom yelling at me in the background to hurry up go to school rest in peace Helen Johnson
This album's got me alternating between boping my head and feeling the grove, and being in a sort of ethereal trance where everything is heavier but my head is floating.
Six years later and I'm still in love with this album. I find myself coming back to it constantly.
It is one of his best. No doubt.
Legit good album from beginning to end, and also my favorite Toro Y Moi album, loved it since the release.
7 years later now… cheers to being back

I regret not going to your concert the time this album came out. I bought couple of CDs and vinyls of yours when I would regularly go to Amoeba Records.
My summer is complete...Washed Out AND Toro Y Moi albums are the only things I need.
Steph Gone Global so I just discovered "washed out" through listening to Toro and I love it, this summer is the best!
omarg123ful summer vibes are high!
This makes me so nostalgic for home, I watch this video and remember all the amazing times I had growing up in the east bay. I live in Portland now but every time I watch this I really consider moving back.
Same.

This album and Causers are top tier.
This guy is creative as fuck, full album stream with a video to watch while the album is playing?! Genius shit.
God damn you this damn album had me crying it has such a 80s essence playing this in the morning and felt like I was getting ready for Jefferson junior high in Belmont Shores California and my mom yelling at me in the background to hurry up go to school rest in peace Helen Johnson

so good 💗
I was very fortunate to see him in Louisville Kentucky with vinyl Williams. The most amazing concert ever.
Boo Boo is a magnificent work of art
This album's got me alternating between boping my head and feeling the grove, and being in a sort of ethereal trance where everything is heavier but my head is floating.
