Lívia Corcino i think there are subtle changes to the mix and mastering of the singles. I think Norton Commander sounds more spacey and atmospheric than before and the other songs sound a bit cleaner and smoother too
I particularly liked more the singles alone, like "Tailwhip", "You deserve this" and "I hope to be around". 'Cause to me, the singles sound more natural. In the album they're more artificial. I dunno. Maybe the new drum gave a new feeling to it that I didn't like that much

Ok, I'll tell you the story of how I got here. About 2 years ago, the first time I tried weed, a friend of mine played the music. One of them was Show Me by Joey BadA$$. This song had a big impact on my trip because I felt like someone had removed my entire skull and was massaging my brain with their hands. It was a sensation of relaxation and comfort, a song so pleasant that I had never felt before. After this, I listened to it in more everyday situations (My weed consumption is very sporadic). One day, my friend came to tell me that he had played the song for his then girlfriend and she had told him that Joey BadA$$'s song was actually a sample of Show Me How by the band Men I Trust. I immediately went to listen to the original version and I fell in love with the way the band handles all the sounds to make it so relaxing and easy-going. Everything was normal actually, I had about 5 songs from the band since I hadn't gotten that deep into their music even though I liked it, from this album I only had the songs "All night and "Show me how". Yesterday, November 15, 2024, everything changed, I ate a gummy with THC waiting to enjoy the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, when I put on the transmission and saw that there was still too much time left for the main fight, I decided to listen to music and after a few songs at random, the algorithm sent me this album, by that time the effects of the gummy had already altered me and I felt at one with the couch in a very constant state of calm in which I internalized each sound that entered my ear, since I heard the voice that started the album it is as if an Angel spoke to me and told me that everything was going to be okay and so I spent listening to it from beginning to end, each song related to the previous one and although not many had sounds nor similar rhythms, I knew they were part of the same masterpiece. Today when I woke up after all the trance I lived I asked myself if what I had heard was a product of my trip or if I had really discovered diamonds, I DISCOVERED DIAMONDS. I have listened to this album twice so far today and I am so grateful to the band, after doing some homework I sat on a park bench to listen and I could feel so calm watching the cars and people go by, thinking that this is one of the moments for which it is worth being alive, for the first time in a long time I felt without rushing anything, just existing and thankful for the moment. Thanks to the people who read me, thank you men I trust for this jewel. Wherever you are in space or timeline, I wish you peace and gratitude in your lives. I hope to return from time to time to this place and remember this day as one of the best of my life. Greetings from Mexico - DSNM 11/16/24

Cheers 🥂
I've been listening to this album for a couple years on youtube, and it's part of a long playlist and the names just don't always register with me. So I had no idea that I already loved Men I Trust when I saw them opening for Khraungbin and they were so amazing. I came home and sure enough it was the oncle jazz band haha.
Im portuguese, i'm 36 and i found this band just because it started playing on a mix playlist. The song was Show Me How. I immediately fell in love. 🥰 Now i listen to every album and i can't get enough. I listen to heavy metal and i find myself doing whatever and listening to Men I Trust. It was love at first sight. I usually dream of dancing to Men I Trust on the empty streets at night or driving and watching the streetlights go one by one. Time stands still. I am one with the Universe.
I have a newfound love for this album after seeing them live in Melbourne. Top five gigs in nearly 20 years of seeing bands live, top three bands I wish we could keep in Australia so I could catch them live routinely, and now one of my favourite albums of all time. Man, Men I Trust are something special.
this band has been on my recommended for a while now and i've been resisting the urge to check them out. today autoplay made the choice for me. i think a part of me had a feeling i'd fall in love with their sound, and here i am experiencing auditory romance like a falling for a high school crush. something transcendent i felt was inevitable as soon as i let my guard down.
I'm so glad I found this, I lost my dear mother last year, May 19th will make one year she's been gone. This entire album is AMAZING and it soothes my depression. Great music 💕
This has become one of my favorite mixes lately. So soothing yet and so present with unique beats and vocals. I very much enjoy it, brings a nice sense of relaxation :-)
RUclips has been playing, "Men I Trust " in my youtube recommendations autoplay thingy. Thank's for this one. I love this band. I've gone through 3 albums since yesterday. It's pretty melodic, calm, hyped at some points, cinematic, and even lovely. I love how positive and upbeat they are. xoxo
I liked the Abstract, Minimalist styles of these songs & this was almost always my favorite "Rnb" album that I will always enjoy hearing, again. This is an awesome post.
what are you talking about? Crumb released an album during summer, i LOVE men i trust, but Crumb are just out of this world, also indie, but much more prog.
You guys are fucking amazing. There's not a single bad song on here, it's all catchy as fuck. Anyone can tell alot of passion was poured into this. I don't think I've ever had so many shivers down my spine. Thank you for the experience!
After listening to this album for nearly a year now my most special track is Something In Water. Absolutely gorgeous. Listen with headphones. Sheer beauty.
I saw my comment here from nearly a year ago and still agree with my past self but its not as simple as picking out one track as the standout. If I had to only give one track to someone to make them like the band it would probably be one of the others (depending on the person I guess). Something in Water is only my most special because the songs on the rest of the album cover all the other ground you want to hear, allowing space for such an understated gem thats almost too fragile to stand on its own . Hopefully that makes sense.
this band hits my heart, as i am trying to heal from cptsd , i love listening to them when i do my creative space time first thing inn the morning- i found them with "numb" in fall 2021 when i was going through a rly bad time by myself..thank u for sharing your energy, love and presence with the world:0000)))))))) ily
i remember the first time i discovered this amazing album and Men I Trust, it was life changing, it was 2020 it made me at peace with everything that was going on in my life because the year was rlly stressful. Rlly thankful for their music.
So down with the 80s japanese funk inspired sound seeping into a lot of the indie chillwave bands. I was really pessimistic about the state of new alt music at the beginning of the '10s but bands like this and Khruangbin give me hope.
no recuerdo cómo fue que llegué la primera vez, pero desde la primera escucha me pareció un álbum increíble. Luego escuché el Untourable y me pareció igual de increible. Espero que un día tengan el reconocimiento que se merecen
I am dead sure this album in years to come will be reckoned as a timeless classic. I haven't felt this way about an entire album since I first heard an entire Pink Floyd / Police (Zenyatta Mondatta) album end to end.

Yes it has. Men I Trust, Beach House, Still Corners, The Marias.
You guys heard of Jack Stauber?
I'm so glad I found this, I lost my dear mother last year, May 19th will make one year she's been gone. This entire album is AMAZING and it soothes my depression. Great music 💕
you guys deserve a beer for making your music name your price
i'll buy your vinyl next payday, chaps
I love their music style it reminds me of my grandparents band my grampa passed away this reminds me sm of him
This album just makes me happy. Period.
This has become one of my favorite mixes lately. So soothing yet and so present with unique beats and vocals. I very much enjoy it, brings a nice sense of relaxation :-)
WHAT IS WRONG WITH RUclips RECOMENDATION??? IT IS A BLESSING FOR MY EAR !!
This sounds lovely, ethereal, magnificent, graceful, glorious, heavenly, fascinating, dazzling alluring, cute, or let's just say beautiful. It's gold.
RUclips has been playing, "Men I Trust " in my youtube recommendations autoplay thingy. Thank's for this one. I love this band. I've gone through 3 albums since yesterday. It's pretty melodic, calm, hyped at some points, cinematic, and even lovely. I love how positive and upbeat they are. xoxo
I got 3 minutes in and i already experienced a vibe overload. This is a fucking masterpiece
Long time listener of Jazz Fusion here. This is a masterpiece and a future timeless classic.
always coming back to this album; i'm a junior in hs and i know this is a classic i'll remember for years :) great work
OH MY LORD I JUST LISTEN TO ONE OF THIS SONGS IN A EPISODE OF THE GOOD DOCTOR IM SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS!
It's amazing to listen to this group as few release albums as good as this one, each track is tailored to their rhythm and lyrics.
Yeiiii!! Thank you for your beautiful work!! Im sure i'll enjoy every second
i've downloaded like the 90% of this album already. I think i'd attend to their concerts to listen to them and to meet new people
I liked the Abstract, Minimalist styles of these songs & this was almost always my favorite "Rnb" album that I will always enjoy hearing, again. This is an awesome post.
Album sounds like Wicker Park's style, years ago and psychedelic trips
Thank you for making such great music, I've never felt so warm :)
This album is everything I could ever want.
Man, this voice, these bass lines, these keyboard sounds… Amazing !
I keep coming back to Oncle Jazz. A beautiful concept album.
"Hope To Be Around" always kicks me in the heart. I love, love, love the rhythm but I'm crying? Beautiful. Lol.
effing crybaby
wahhhhhh
@@3jesus3christ3let them appreciate the music
This album came into my recommend outta nowhere, now a regular listener ❤
Suddenly, 2019 is no longer a disappointing year.
menos pra quem mora no Brasil...
what are you talking about? Crumb released an album during summer, i LOVE men i trust, but Crumb are just out of this world, also indie, but much more prog.
To GreshTooFresh: i like the way you resume the spirit of this record. ;)
imho 2018 & 2019 had been very good years for music.
Peggy didn't dissapoint.
You guys are fucking amazing. There's not a single bad song on here, it's all catchy as fuck. Anyone can tell alot of passion was poured into this. I don't think I've ever had so many shivers down my spine. Thank you for the experience!
Norton Commander gave me chills, that synth is unsettling behind the plucky bass runs, dope music.
After listening to this album for nearly a year now my most special track is Something In Water. Absolutely gorgeous. Listen with headphones. Sheer beauty.
Love that song
Parts of the song remind me of the Twin Peaks theme
@@GerdinTim yeah for sure, I can hear that as well. shit gets me nostalgic.
8:00 tailwhip is one of the most relaxing songs I've ever heard.
The “your listening to oncle jazz” already made my day this album is just too good for the human mind. :,)
I just discovered the best album for academic studies. So stress-relieving
this band hits my heart, as i am trying to heal from cptsd , i love listening to them when i do my creative space time first thing inn the morning-
i found them with "numb" in fall 2021 when i was going through a rly bad time by myself..thank u for sharing your energy, love and presence with the world:0000))))))))
ily
i remember the first time i discovered this amazing album and Men I Trust, it was life changing, it was 2020 it made me at peace with everything that was going on in my life because the year was rlly stressful. Rlly thankful for their music.
So down with the 80s japanese funk inspired sound seeping into a lot of the indie chillwave bands. I was really pessimistic about the state of new alt music at the beginning of the '10s but bands like this and Khruangbin give me hope.
tbh all music pretty good these days
White gloves is such a good song.
Check feng suave, peach pit, connan mockasin, tv girl, skinshape... A lot of good music is out there.
Crumb is another good one
There is also yellow days
I've had this on loop now for a solid 4 hours this morning. Every song scratches a different itch in my brain 🥲This is so unbelivably good.
no recuerdo cómo fue que llegué la primera vez, pero desde la primera escucha me pareció un álbum increíble. Luego escuché el Untourable y me pareció igual de increible. Espero que un día tengan el reconocimiento que se merecen
Without a doubt the best music I've heard in a long time!! Gonna buy the Album and put it on repeat!! Thank you so much!! :D
Learning bass guitar and this is one of those albums/bands that makes you want to practice again (more).
I am dead sure this album in years to come will be reckoned as a timeless classic. I haven't felt this way about an entire album since I first heard an entire Pink Floyd / Police (Zenyatta Mondatta) album end to end.
I agree :)
This is a really cool album and all but comparing it to Pink Floyd in terms of quality or “classicness” is a bit much
now that's a fridge picture, smack dab in the middle. great work! for real though the music is incredible. thanks guys and girls that made this cd happen and put it out for us. cheers!
I am happy every time I listen to your music. I come from Thailand.🇨🇷
bro that´s the flag of costa rica, get ur patriotism straight XD
this band and album was my shield during pandemic, playing over and over during the whole year, so glad to find it in that same time!!
Hey you might like The Doublejumps if you like listening to Men I Trust
This album is my happy place.
Thank you 'Men I Trust.' Thank you for this piece of joy.
i love this so much im crying
Wow do you like japanese jazz too?
Just...beautiful. I lack the vocabulary and musical knowledge to explain how good this album is, but I can feel how good it is in my heart.
You guys are my favourite band. Love the album. Hooray!
