EtherReal he might go back to that style after many years of experiences, he’s an incredibly talented musician and would probably become uninterested in basic lofi compositions at this point

You don't know how many times I've played this live album.
I remember long ago watching huel howser tour through there and talking about the Trona Pinnacles and how it was a really popular spot but could never picture it and it was my first time hearing about it. Went out there recently at night and saw what the hype was about looking up at the night sky. Awesome part of California, highly recommend the visit.
My good iend was huells best friend/right hand man... they had so many wonderful episodes. 💓

@@freakybeats89 his name is Chris...kinda behind the scenes guy but huell dragged him everywhere. Chris built him his home as well but huell tended to stay at Chris's house in Joshua tree alot.
Camera work was great as was the sound. My daughter alerted me to this because I am a native of Trona. People don't always appreciate stark beauty of the desert. The pinnacles have been seem in several movies and TV commercials, including a Star Wars episode. THS 1960

This was my introduction to Toro y Moi. My boyfriend livestreamed this and we had a watch party with a bunch of friends on discord. I think it was before we started dating, or at least before we started getting real serious about it. We've been together seriously for almost a couple eyars soon but this always brings me back to that innocent lust and happiness I was feeling at the time I first heard it. Thanks

I remember paying for this back when this first came out on Vimeo. Well worth it. Happy it’s here now for all to enjoy and appreciate. 😊

Trona Pinnacles is by far the windiest location I've ever been to. These guys must have camped out for a week to get a time with no wind. I'm impressed that there's no windjammers on the mics, just some foam on a few.

Love this film and this album. I bought the video back when it was only available as an online purchase to support Toro Y Moi. I've watched several times over the years. Nice to see that Chaz made the video free to all through RUclips. Now everyone can check the awesome.

Edward Gomez were they the two twin brother looking guys? One was on the double neck guitar and other on drums That’s the best song on here, IMO - that guitarist was so good!

I saw the Mattson 2 at a local bar earlier in the year and the blew that place apart.
I felt like one of three people who knew who they were and no one could figure out why we were so pumped.
It was a helluva show, they played this without Chaz but it was still just as good. Also played some stuff off Paradise before it was released. Too notch 👌
Asked them about working with Chaz and they said a super down to Earth and laid back guy.

Just discovered this and you’re music I love it thanks for filming the small town on trona hope one day it will be back to it’s good ol’ self and having notable people like you help keep us alive and hopeful for the future for our oddly beautiful and peaceful desert that some will never leave. One day I wish there could be a big concert out there with a ton of people who want to explore what there is to offer besides the trona pinnacles
People need to know the beauty of desertic places. As a friendly hotel owner said to me in a small town in the middle of the Mexican desert: "Don't let the calm fool you, the desert is, in some ways, a very fertile place and it's full of life."
The desertic towns always find a way to thrive more than once. Cheers from south of the border!
