Another helm option I would like to bring up that is really good for bears is the Stylin' Purple Hat which is crafted by leatherworking, pattern drops from second boss in shadow labyrinth (and is BoP, though the item itself isn't). It doesn't have any sockets but it has LOT of stats. Also a note about the shoulders you presented, I am pretty sure the Fel Ember quest is alliance only.
@@Klaital1 Hey mate, the head is absolutely a solid option. There are so many options for all these slots and i didn't want the lists being too long so had to just take a punt at a few for each slot. Sylin's dont only have good stats, it looks amazing as well lol :D Hmmmm, i'll have to check the Fel Embers quest, i thought it was for both tbh, but thats going from memory, which is sketchy now days :D

I've found that aggro is actually the biggest curve to breakthrough lately. I'm chonky af with my natural hp pool and defence but I find people have been spoiled by pally tanks so if I'm not hit or expertise capped then one non landing hit could mean the loss of a party member.
I've found that gogogo DPSers that ignore threat are the biggest curve to breakthrough, as always. Bear tank: 75% damage reduction, 35-40% avoidance. Blizzarding Mage: ~15% damage reduction thru armor, 5% avoidance? 700 incoming damage to a bear is 5000 for a mage. Yet DPS expect healers to keep them alive every time they pull aggro 3 seconds in to the pull.
@@thebluelunarmonkey this is 100% it. I use a tank mod for marking and basically lay it all out. The zig gets run in and ww/ bladeflury … he’ll had our healer pop chain lightning on the pull. Let them die.
Badge of Tenacity is BiS but obtaining one is another story. Its is a process. First you have to get a depleted badge to drop from specific mobs. Then turn it into a badge of tenacity with apexis shards. The depleted badge is very rare. Expect to pay many thousands for a completed badge of tenacity if you're lucky enough to spot one on the AH.

for me there nothing else but feral tank, no other class/spec is engagin enough for me. If you can survive in a decent manner you neeeeeed hit cap so you dont miss taunts, its REALY important.
Taunt will still miss with melee hit cap since it is a spell, so you can't make it not miss. You will not go for spell hit cap in TBC, since you will sacrifice too many stats for that.

Its something i can get access to but its not my server, i will be putting that to good use for the indepth class guides though which are next in the series after all the gearing series is done :)
You mentioned that your profs for tanking are different than kitty dps and that you take engineering for the head. What's the other prof that you take? Wasn't sure if you're taking LW because the items that you mentioned are all BOE. Thanks!
Otacon Sps For tanking I would go engi/alchemy or engi/LW. I would always have 2 primary proffer on my main in TBC and a gathering alt just purely because of all profession items you can get in TBC. My feral DPS will be LW for drums and primal strike early on and transmute master to hope for lucky procs on primal might to craft the gear cheaper and faster then changing over to elixir master. The leather for leather working after the initial weeks will be the cheapest but of all the recipes tbh so skinning isn’t required imo

All the PVP gear is solid mate. I just left them off because PvP doesn’t appeal to everyone and are quite a bit of time to get, I chose speed over quality tbh as the items won’t last long in tier 4 :) the huh quality ones that will last on this list are still quite quick to obtain
If you are not immune to crushing blows - does that mean sometimes you will just die? Or will you have enough HP to survive? I dont see why you would take a feral tank if they can get one-shotted because of RNG
Clefthoof set doesnt make me Def capped. Defense rating and Defense seems to be 2 different things. Currently 405 Defense with clefthoof set, +6 sockets with defense/def+stam, def neck. Did I miss something or ?

I loved the druid so much. Was my main char 70-80. In early cataclysm i quit and next week i start again with a druid in tbc classic 😊

Don't forget before earthwarden, there is Braxxis' Staff of Slumber BOE lvl 64 can be had for about 30g at AH. 534 armor, 39 Sta, 292 Feral AP.

I had a quick check, outside of an atlas loot on a private TBC server i couldn't see a way. I would just use TBCDB.com or twinstar
