Why do I have to keep resetting it? It’ll make ice once and stop then I have to reset it again. I do this without unplugging it could this be the issue?
Thank you 66 year old here. There is almost no way to move it out to unplug so I flipped the breaker. Couldn't see the reset buttom because the bin can't be removed again no room to do so. Ah ha had a small hand held mirror located the dot twisted my hand in and reset. There were a few cubs was dumped now crossing my fingers. The freezer has to return to 0.
I have looked and looked and yours is the first video that talked about that button. I have water from the cold water line of the hot water heater. a new filter and water to the solenoid. The ice maker has been making small ice cubes for the last few months. I think it's the solenoid. I did what you said and am waiting to see if it is any better. Thanks!
Instead of Pulling out the refrigerator for 2 minutes disconnection, I found it easier to flip the fuse box switch off. By the way, mine does not have the black reset button on the icemaker. I'll have to wait for 3 hours to see if the power toggle helped or not. Thanks anyway. (UPDATE) Fixed: After a few hours, the icemaker works again!. THANK YOU.

We had a power outage not too long ago and it may have caused the ice maker to stop working, Tonight, I watched your video and pressed that black button for 10secs. I think I heard water activated. So I hope tomorrow morning when I wake up, there's ice. Thanks. Otherwise, another video claims Samsung will fix ice maker for free due to loosing a class action lawsuit,

Well I'm an idiot. I kept toggling that button thinking the indicator lit up when the icemaker was on. Now I'll see if this fixes the problem.

To fix, pull Samsuck out , unplug, call Got Junk, load into truck, go buy a GE, install new fridge. Problem solved.

Pressed the reset without unplugging it. It dumped the ice and immediately starting filling with H2o! Much thanks!!
