Dude I love this guitar. It sounds amazing, has a thick as hell body so it doesn't feel like I'm holding a toy. This is the best. I love this guitar so damn much. I only wish I was able to get the white satin one but this finish is still insane.

Just a headsup: The knob pulled out is actually voice 1; the oldschool PAF design. With the knob flush w the body, or push in, it's the hot rodded sound, voice 2. I don't know why they did it that way, but they did.

I understand where they are coming from with offering a T-version, but I more strongly associate ESP/LTD with the thinner body ones.
I have an old Schecter Solo 6 with EMG's - it's half brother(?), in full thickness - and while I love the boat anchor feel, I would get the "regular" EC-1000 over the T.

Still baffles me why ESP USA will NOT do an Eclipse just like this... meaning... full thickness, no tummy cut and double binding. I have a ESP USA Viper and it is insane. I want an Eclipse but hate the tummy cut on a full thickness body. It is fine on the thinner eclipses IMO like the Truckster or Iron Cross, but a full thickness IMO should not have a tummy cut. :)

Seems to me all the best and amazingly good ROCK bands coming out of Sweden use these guitars but usually in black or white... Dynazty, Crash Diet, Eclipse...and the rest.
Not H.E.A.T. though. Seen Dave dalone playing an amazing kramer baretta the other night sounded immense

Dime does it in the “Walk” solo as well. He just calls it the echo trick or something. He slides his fretting hand up from say 3-15, pulls off on 15 to the 3rd fret picking hand (middle finger) and repeats. That’s it. It’s way easier than the explanation would suggest. 🤣

I kind of despise Fishman pups w/little exception. I do plan on buying the gold satin version of this guitar but I will absolutely dump the Fishmans and replace w/Duncans.
Not really hating on anyone that likes the Fishman stuff just not my sound especially when A/B’d with SDs.
Dig the guitar though and I like seeing a company offering a well spec’d guitar w/ss frets.

@@Headknocks i picked up ec1000 purple (sh1/sh5) and it's bloody awersome. I had many guitars but ltds are best as for now (i have ungodly modded Alexi signature as second ltd)

This Fishman trend is going overboard, they shove them in quite literally everything lately and they don't even sound that good.
I agree. Had a guitar with them and felt they sounded artificial, like a solid state modeling amp. Didn’t like them.
@@patrickgiles2700 I tried an Epiphone Prophecy recently at my local store because i wanted to see what the fuss was about. After an hour and four different amps, they were decidedly "meh".
Prefer my Seymour Duncans Jb and Jazz, actually I put them on my LTD ec 256, solid guitar for gigging and recording

Yeah, I love the clean matte sunburst finish EC-1000s, but of course they come with Fishmans, so they have no vibe and they're 300 dollars more. What backroom deal made these pickups so common? I don't want a mahogany single cut to sound very generically like an old Gibson, a metal guitar, and a Telecaster at the same time. I want 3 good guitars, not one sh*t guitar. If you want to produce a dozen different finishes, use several different thoughtful combinations that work with how the guitar looks and give it its own vibe and justify its existence.
