Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument. With the EC-1000T/CTM Vintage Gold Satin, you get the overall vibe of an outstanding vintage instrument that’s been rocking hard for years and years, but with the most contemporary components and smooth playability imaginable.
The “T” is for traditional, referring to its full-thickness single-cutaway mahogany body shape (no waist cut). The “CTM” stands for its custom multi-ply binding, situated on both the front and back or the body as well as neck and headstock.
The finish color of this guitar has been carefully formulated to match the natural yellowing of a decades-old guitar, and looks like it came straight out of the hard rocking 1970s combined with its gold hardware, including a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, and LTD locking tuners. Its three-piece mahogany neck offers a Macassar ebony fingerboard with white pearloid ESP flag inlays and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.
The EC-1000T/CTM’s tone is generated with a set of direct-mount Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker pickups. Each pickup offers three voicings, selectable with push-pull controls. On the neck pickup, Voice 1 offers the coveted vintage PAF tone, Voice 2 is an airy chime, and Voice 3 is a vintage single-coil. For the bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the PAF, Voice 2 is the classic hot-rodded humbucker, and Voice 3 is an overwound single coil.

I never get tired of this guys reviews. Monster playing and entertaining. I wish ESP would release an ESP custom version of this. (Not an EII.) They always release these with the thinner body and tummy cut.
Dagan is that _cool uncle_ that nobody had.
thank god for youtube now we can all have him!
With a color like vintage gold and a pair of Fishman pickups, you know that it was a "gold rush" for building such a thing.
Stainless steel frets are arguably the best part on any guitar when it comes to longevity as there's nothing worse than having a guitar you really connect with but the frets start to destruct especially at an early stage of use. This is an AWESOME guitar all around!
It’s an absolute beast! 🤘
SS frets are not all equal, even cheapo Bentons have SS frets.
@richardjones2811 that goes without saying lol. That doesn't change the fact that they are the best and what's you're point?
Thanks for playing that Hearts Burst into Fire riff. i can really get a sense on how these sound versus the original recording. I know the tone of that song like the back of my hand so it really puts these into perspective. Thanks as always.
I am a big fan of ESP guitars I currently own 3 and hope to ad a few more to the collection down the road.
I'm looking for a beginner guitar, should I get the EC-10 or a bit more money for the EC-256?
or do you have another recommendation?
@@Yakikitsu Me personally I have not played the EC-10 so cannot speak to the quality of that guitar other then I have seen many good reviews on it on youtube so I think it will be a good guitar for you.
With that being said if it was me I would save up and get the EC-256 as I currently oen 2 of them one in cherry burst and one in black and plan on getting a 3rd in white.
THe EC-256 is hand down a great guitar and I would take it over any gibson or epiphone les paul any day of the week.
And I own 5 Les pauls so I have done a lot of comparisons with them.
ESP guitars are in my top 3 favorite guitars to own and play with Schecter and PRS being the other 2.
I do have a review of my ESP EC-256 cherry burst on my channel as well if you want to go watch it.
So that is my 2 cents for what it is worth.
Also you can find sales on the EC-256 or a great used one at a good price on reverb as well but there are deals to be had on them check sweetwater, american music supply, and musicians friend and see what end of the year deals they are running right now because I am sure there will be some new years eve blow out sales for sure.
Excellent, it's no wonder that this is guitar of choice of so many of the current crop of Nordic rock/sleaze bands! Love your sound by the way.
Superb presentation! 😎👏👏👏
Bloody love this guitar! 🤘
It sure looks like it! 😂
Awesome guitar man 💪
Love it such a great channel
Thanks! 🔥
Sick a$$ fiddle. The playing didn't hurt either. I can tell you had fun with that one.
I love Eclipses.
Awesome isn’t it!
I had it for about 1 day and then I returned it. The one I received was not so well manufactured as other LTDs I own. The binding was about 0,7 mm thinner where it joins with body or neck. Although it's not a problem when it comes to body part, but on the neck side - it was so annoying when I played. 😞I just felt this flaw when my hand moved on the fretboard. But still, this axe looks amazing and sounds like it should sound. 🙂
He never used ESP, but the cream finish and open humbuckers on a singlecut guitar speaks to the Steve Jones fan in me.
👌🤘
Any of the 1000 series by LTD is excellent value for your money. My first LTD was the '87 Eclipse NT in pearl white. Then I went with the TE1000 Black Blast. They're complete opposites in every spec, save for dual humbuckers and body outline. The feature that stands out for me is the coilsplit tones they have. Anyone who says that a coilsplit humbucker can't sound like a singlecoil, should really give these guitars a try. The '59 and Sentient SD pickups in the neck positions, are stellar all around performers that can get you a vast array of very useful tones.
I was thinking about the te1000. Would it do clean tones well? I like everything from metal to indie and I want to get a guitar for both
Nice guitar and rig, but the massive tones are coming from Dagan's hands! Sure wish I had them.
Keep looking at these full thickness body CTM
They look great
Dagan does the best Guitar impressions
Ltd’s are sweet guitars! I’ve had ec-1000’s, ec-401 and a 100 and all were nice. The full thickness ones were pretty heavy. But, that’s my only nit. I play blues on the 1000 with EMG pups.
Randy Rhoads vibes 🤘🤘🤘
Hell yeah! ⚡️
Just wish they offered this in Snow White!!!
love ur stuff please do a vid on a js32t king v
Dagan you arrrr the best! Will you be reviewing the newest BK ESP signature model anytime soon? ❤🎸🤘💵💵💵
Want one
Firepower. Funny you mention that word seeing that Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest recorded the album with his white Les Paul mainly that looked similar to that white devil of a guitar. He never used Fishmans though, just the almighty EMGs.
I am getting some epic Richie and Randy (Rhoads) vibes from that guitar but it is amazing with those dynamics of voicing available through the Fishmans.
i'm a sucker for a LP style guitar
Me too!!! I got the all black one and I love it.
Dagan I see what you did there lol you play a metal riff from a band that has metal in there name 🤘🏼
You ripped on it.
Whats the difference between 1001T and 1000T? I'm thinking the 1001T is chambered and the 1000T is non chambered (solid). Is that correct?
He was inspired as shit for this. How has he not been picked up by a worldwide touring band?
What’s that thing he’s wearing around his right wrist? I searched for “wrist bandana” but came up empty.
What is the song at 1:41 ?
Mein Teil by Rammstein! 🤘🔥
@@DaganWilkinThank you!
😎👍
Sounds outstanding.. or is it the player ?
The guitar for sure 😂
@@DaganWilkin we all know better than that. Rock on brother.
🤣
Is this guitar fit for all genre?
Absolutely! With all the voicings on the Fishman Fluence pickups, it’ll suit any genre. Dagan even plays some jazz bits in the clean tone demo!
Dear Santa....
1000 refers to the price if it was b -stock
If that guitar was a jasmin, you could sell it.. its not the guitar, its the player..
22 frets not 24
I correct myself when I say the non ‘T’ versions have 24 frets. This one being a 1000T does indeed have 22.
@@DaganWilkinwell done
These guitars are like 2 grand and have a shit plastic nut. Goes sharp after every play session
I agree for the price they could use a better material. Not hard to get done though.
@@tobiusmanning7336 yeah for sure but still an auto upgrade part on such an expensive guitar sucks
No more respect for guitars like that than Dean’s rip off designs.
