I've had my 3DS XL now since 2012, and I'm really debating whether I should upgrade to the N2DSXL! I basically never use the 3D function, so I believe it would be better for me to get this version. These were some great accessories! Will definitely pick several of these up, if I buy a new system.

I picked up my 2DS XL and started playing with it for a while. My fingers were cramped. That carrying case is already on my list, but the grip went under my radar. I most likely will be getting that grip next week.

I want more Switch games.... when I heard Sims 4 was coming to Xbox1/PS4, I was excited and hoping that it'd be coming to Switch as well (it'd be a perfect switch game!). But it was shot down quickly that it wouldn't be coming to switch, at least not now.

Do not get a glass screen protector are you kidding? It's a resistive touch pad. It needs to know you are pressing down by force, so if you put glass on it, you will need more force and it's terrible. I used one for my Wii u and it made it 100% unusable.
If you guys are looking for a good case, I recommend getting the city slicker case for the 2ds xl or you can get it for your 3ds. The case is beautiful. It has storage for games and the charger. I highly recommend it.
Pokemon Sun, which kinda sucks TBH, but I like the DS/3ds library better.. I'm hoping the Switch releases more decent games. After I finish Zelda there won't be much.

New 2DS XL is the ultimate 3DS. Sure, it doesn't have the key feature of the 3DS: 3D, but its got the most comfortable feel, its lighter, looks better, and can play all 3DS and New 3DS games.
Plus the 3DS feature is fucking stupid anyways. Hardly anybody uses it, and it isn't required for any game, so it's fucking pointless to spend an extra at least $50 just to get a bit bigger console (same screen size) and the 3D feature.

they don't make a tempered glass screen protector for the bottom screen because it relies on resistive touch screen tech to use and having a tempered glass protector would render the bottom screen useless as a touch screen. There are however tempered glass for the top which I would also recommend for the aforementioned benefits in this video.

I always get screen protectors for my phones because that's a bit different, but I'd skip that for this. I'm probably the only person that got a Wii U and not a 3DS, haha! I'm definitely getting my hands on a new 2ds XL over a regular 2ds, the price is higher but the upgrades are so worth it, like the folding. $150 for it is half of the switch's price, not counting taxes
