My sister says I’m too sensitive, that I take everything to heart and that I shouldn’t wear my feelings on my sleeve, now I know that she can’t understand why I love the way I do. Thank you Jesus that I do love the way that I do!!

I think the difference between Christian love and secular love can be seen in this:
"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
    Matthew 5:43‭-‬48 NRSV
There is a person who loves because he benefits from the object of his affection, and then there is God who loves simply because that's who He is. Christian love borrows from God's kind of love.
It is common sense for a man to love his own child. However, it is unique or rare for a man to love his neighbour's child as if that child is his own, paying medical fees, giving meals etc. A good man would not hesitate to sell a piece of land or his own house to pay for his own child's medical fees. But what man would do this for his neighbour's child? This is simply unheard of in the secular world, and sadly, it seems to be unheard of in the modern church as well. But it was actually a common occurrence in the early Church.
"All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need."
    Acts 2:44‭-‬45 NRSV
"There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold. They laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. There was a Levite, a native of Cyprus, Joseph, to whom the apostles gave the name Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”). He sold a field that belonged to him, then brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet."
    Acts 4:34‭-‬37 NRSV
But as Jesus indicated in Matthew 5:45,48, God's love is perfect and goes even beyond this, paying an even higher cost than the loss of land or possessions, not for His family, not for His friends, not for His neighbours, but even for His enemies:
"For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person-though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us....For if 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙚𝙨, we were reconciled to God 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙤𝙣, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life."
    Romans 5:6‭-‬8‭, ‬10 NRSV

Christianity began as sun worship, the stories about Jesus are symbolic.
He is just a personification of the sun, made into a god figure later on.
The sun "dies" for 3 days on December 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops its movement south, to be born again or resurrected on December 25th, when it resumes its movement north.
In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin"
The sun rising in the morning is "the saviour of mankind"
The sun is "The light of the World"
The sun "walks on water" is just the reflection of the sun on water/the sea.
"He cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him", is just sun rays.
Jesus' "crown of thorns" is just the sun's glare, also know as a halo.
The sun's "followers", "helpers" or "disciples" are the 12 months and the 12 signs of the zodiac or constellations, through which the sun must pass.
The sun at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High": thus.."he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12.
The sun enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30 degrees, hense, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30.
The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified", which represents its passing through the equinoxes.
The vernal equinox being Easter, at which time it is then resurrected.
The reason why saviour myths are so similar with a godman who is crucified and resurrected, who does miracles and has 12 disciples, is that these stories were based on the movements of the sun through the heavens, an astrotheological development that can be found throughout the planet, because the sun and the 12 zodiac signs can be observed around the globe.
In other words, Jesus Christ and all the others upon whom this character is predicated are personifications of the sun, and the Gospel fable is merely a rehash of a mythological formula revolving around the movements of the sun throug the heavens.
Jesus is a fictional allegory for the sun. Christianity is ancient astrology. It's just fables about the sun.

I was waiting for him to say that the difference is that christian love is God’s love in you and flowing out of you. It’s simple, it’s not our love, it’s HIS love. We are just the servant, He is all, and He performs the works through us. I hate to say it, but JPs answer was weak, you could hear the carnality in it.

There's literally no connection between the sun and Jesus💁‍♂️. For example nowhere are there any suggestions that He died and rose in December. He died and rose around the time of the Jewish passover which was around March/April.

It's so obvious, you just don't want to admit it to yourself. It's where the myth comes from. Also the water into wine story is just the sun making the grapes grow after watering them so they can be turned into wine. It's an allegory.

    One question!
    Rom 9.4-5
    1) they are israelites
    2) whose are sonship
    3) whose is the glory
    4) whose are the covenants
5)whose is the giving the law
    6) whose is the worship
    7)whose are the promises
    8)whose are the fathers
    9)from whom is the messiah
10 ) who is God over all blessed fore ever.
Can number 9) from whom is the messiah or Christ 10 ) who is blessed by God over all fore ever.
Can Paul listed all the benefit’s of israel and at its max point Christ but not God the father? The head of israel (also gentle) is Christ , and the head of Christ is God , who is over all.
So , 9 and 10, can it be , from whom is Christ the messiah , who is blessed by the over all God ? So God be on its max top point ?
    Ephesians 4
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Even at end of rom chapter 11 he ends by God over all.
    Romans 11
36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
So why is God the father not listed at the max benefit of israel but Christ only? Becoz God is in Christ? And Christ in God? Even this can’t be, the father is greater than i , he is my head, so why the head is not listed?
Is the translation of rom 9:5 right? Thanks God bless you
    YLT
5 whose [are] the fathers, and of whom [is] the Christ, according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed to the ages. Amen.

Even though Christianity teaches brotherly Love as Jesus did - most Christians are often judgmental towards those who do not share the same beliefs or who are simply different - and most Christians often do not recognize the hypocritical nature of their judgments.
In this way - Satan has corrupted Christianity - and most Christians do not seem to recognize this or try to correct this.
Instead - most Christians tend to fuel a sense of self-righteousness and superiority within themselves that too often leads to conflict with those who do not agree with them.
This is not what Jesus taught!
Jesus taught: Love your neighbor as yourself.
    No exceptions!
Jesus did not say: Love your neighbor only if he or she is like you - or Love your neighbor only if he or she is Christian - or Love your neighbor only if he or she is heterosexual.
Jesus taught that our neighbor is not different than us - that everyone is the same in the eyes of God - that everyone is God made flesh and that the same kingdom of heaven is within everyone.
Jesus had no intention of creating a religion - and Jesus was not involved in creating Christianity - and yet - a religion was created in the name of Jesus.
I just want to clarify this to those for whom the name of Jesus and Christianity - seem one and the same.
When Jesus took on this mission - he knew this would happen.
Jesus knew that his teachings would be misused and misunderstood.

*The Enuma Elish would later be the inspiration for the Hebrew scribes who created the text now known as the biblical Book of Genesis.* Prior to the 19th century CE, the Bible was considered the oldest book in the world and its narratives were thought to be completely original. In the mid-19th century CE, however, European museums, as well as academic and religious institutions, sponsored excavations in Mesopotamia to find physical evidence for historical corroboration of the stories in the Bible. ***These excavations found quite the opposite, however, in that, once cuneiform was translated, it was understood that a number of biblical narratives were Mesopotamian in origin.***
*Famous stories such as the Fall of Man and the Great Flood were originally conceived and written down in Sumer,* translated and modified later in Babylon, and reworked by the Assyrians ***before they were used by the Hebrew scribes for the versions which appear in the Bible.***
***In revising the Mesopotamian creation story for their own ends, the Hebrew scribes tightened the narrative and the focus but retained the concept of the all-powerful deity who brings order from chaos.*** Marduk, in the Enuma Elish, establishes the recognizable order of the world - *just as God does in the Genesis tale* - and human beings are expected to recognize this great gift and honor the deity through service.

Also discussed by Professor Christine Hayes at Yale University in her first lecture of the series on the Hebrew Bible from 8:50 to 14:30 minutes and lecture 3 from 38:15 to 41:35 minutes.
    From a Biblical scholar:

*Let's briefly run through the 'ten plagues':*
First the rivers are turned to blood, all the fish die and the waters stink. No one has any water to drink. This lasted for seven days and would have resulted in mass deaths due to dehydration. Amongst the first to die would have been the children. *The author doesn't think to explain how the Hebrews were saved from this. No record of it was made anywhere in any Egyptian records.* Exodus 7:17-25.
This is followed by a plague of frogs which had somehow survived the rivers of blood that had killed all the fish. A mere inconvenience, nothing more, and a big stink when they all died, *but no record anywhere.* Exodus 8:2-13.
Next we have the plague of lice about which very little is said *and of course no record was made.* To a people who would have been accustomed to lice this would probably have been nothing remarkable. Exodus 8:16-18.
Then the flies. Apart from the land being 'corrupted', whatever that means, there don't appear to have been any ill effects from this and they disappear as quickly as they came a few days later. *Nothing worth recording there, obviously.* Exodus 8:21-31.
Now the author seems to begin to lose the plot and describes a 'grievous murrain' *which kills all the Egyptians' cattle, horses, camels and sheep.* ***They all died - hold that thought.*** *No Egyptian historian or keeper of official records deems it worthy of mention.* Exodus 9:3-6.
Next come the boils which afflict everyone and everything, including all the livestock ***even though they had been killed by the 'grievous murrain' a few days earlier,*** *apparently, and yet no-one thought to write anything down anywhere.* Of course, anyone who understood anything about microorganisms and the aeteology of boils would have described this as an infestation with Staphylococcus - the signs of faecal contamination - but the author was obviously unaware of these. Maybe he was just in too much of a muddle by now to care. Exodus 9:8-11.
Now it's hailstones so bad that every plant, every tree, every servant (for servant read slave) ***and even the livestock (that our story-teller has forgotten already that he killed off in the fifth plague before given them boils in the sixth) were harmed.*** It looks like our story-teller has learned from his earlier silly mistake with killing all the livestock too soon then having to resurrect them later. He mentions that some plants survive. Do I smell stinking fish again? *The greatest hail storm in all Egyptian history, apparently, but not worthy of being recorded.* Exodus 9:18-25.
It's the turn of the locusts and it's suddenly obvious why some plants had to survive. *How could the locusts turn Egypt into a barren desert if the hail storm had done it earlier?* Good thinking there. Shame about the earlier boob! *Mysteriously, no Egyptian scribe appears to notice any of this or the inevitable famine and mass starvation which would have ensued.* Exodus 10:4-15.
And for the penultimate trick, it's going to be dark for three days. *No one makes a record of this, obviously.* Exodus 10:21-23.
The last 'plague' is not so much a plague as a ritual genocide. *Here our tale takes a nasty turn and the true character of the Hebrew god is revealed in all its glory - a petty, vindictive, homicidal psychopath who has not yet acquired the omniscience he will be granted later. He kills every firstborn Egyptian in a single night,* ***including the firstborn of all the cattle that died in the fifth plague.*** *For some reason he needs the Hebrews to leave a secret sign so he doesn't kill them too. Weirdly, he can't tell his own chosen people from ordinary Egyptians and doesn't even know where they live.* And he had been leading up to this, apparently, because after every plague he 'hardens the heart' of Pharaoh so that he wouldn't let the Hebrews go. He had actually been planning this genocide all along just to impress people with his powers. *And still no-one thought even this mass killing in a single night worth making a note of in any Egyptian records.* Exodus 12:1-30.
And then, of course, Pharaoh could muster up 600 horses to pull the chariots ***from amongst all the dead livestock from the 5th plague*** (Exodus 14:7).

I heard someone express surprise at how much a non believer was devoted to and loved his wife “for a non believer.” What do you think about that? What do I think? I think this is a horrible view of your fellow human. So if some guy steps in front of a bullet headed toward his wife, that doesn’t rise to the same level of love than if a Christian did? You all are completely off base. Then you all sit around and scratch your head why people are leaving the church and being completely disgusted by how you view anyone not in your tribe. "When we say…Jesus Christ…was produced without sexual union, and was crucified and died, and rose again, and ascended to heaven, ***we propound nothing new or different*** *from what you believe regarding those whom you call Sons of God. [In fact]…if anybody objects that [Jesus] was crucified, this is in* ***common*** *with the sons of Zeus (as you call them) who suffered, as previously listed [he listed Dionysus, Hercules, and Asclepius].* Since their fatal sufferings are all narrated as not similar but different, so his unique passion should not seem to be any worse."
*Note how Justin (Martyr) is less of a fool than modern Christian apologists. He admits that differences don’t matter.* Since each and every one of the suffering and dying gods are slain by different means, one cannot argue the mytheme requires exactly the same means of death. “But Osiris can’t have inspired the Jesus myth because Osiris wasn’t nailed to a cross” is a stupid argument. The mytheme is simply death. Being killed. Suffering and dying. The exact mode of death can vary freely. It makes no difference to the existence and influence of the mytheme. It’s simply the particular instantiation of a generic abstraction. *And Justin’s argument (that Satan invented these fake religions to confuse people) entails Justin agreed the mytheme existed: indeed, it was demonically promulgated, multiple times. Intentionally.*
*Likewise, Justin notices the mytheme is not virgin birth, but sexless conception. Of which many examples had already been popularized in pagan mythology (there just happens to also have been examples of actual virgin born gods as well). And by his argument (that the Devil was deliberately emulating the Jesus mytheme, in advance), Justin clearly accepted the same principle for “rising again” after death:* the particular exact metaphysics of the resurrection could, like the exact method of death or conception, vary freely. The mytheme consists solely of the abstraction: returning to life. Somehow. Some way. We will say bodily, at the very least. But what sort of body (the same one, a new one, a mortal one, an immortal one), didn’t matter. *If it had, Justin would have made the argument that “those gods” weren’t really resurrected. But that argument, never occurs to him. Nor did it to any other apologist of the first three centuries.*
*Ancient Christians well knew there was nothing new about their dying-and-rising god. Not in respect to the mytheme.* Their claims were solely that his particular instantiation of it was better, and the only one that actually happened. *They didn’t make up the stupid modern arguments that dying-and-rising god myths didn’t exist or weren’t part of a common mytheme everyone knew about. For example, in the same century, Tertullian, in Prescription against Heretics 40, makes exactly the same argument as Justin. Funny that. They had better access to the evidence than we do. They knew what was really and widely the case. We should listen to them.*

    "What Makes Christian Love Different?"
Well kind Sir...the generic word "Christian" is not the same, in all cases...For
There are "Born Again" Christians; and "Non" Born Again Christians; "Lukewarm" Christians, Sunday only Christians and "Moderate" Christians, etc. Sad, but OH so true. So...the ONLY true Christians; are those that have become Born Again (Heavenly Spiritual Birth). And those are few and far between. Sadly that is horrible, but very true. May Jesus have mercy on all "worldly fake" Christians.
So the word Christian; came from Greek (chrīstós), meaning "Anointed One"; derived the Hebrew word (Messiah). And in English it's "Savior". So somewhere, somehow and someone: coined the word "Christ" to be Jesus. And that is NOT true; for it's Blasphemy! Because the word Christ is NOT a name. Rather: it's a only a "Title".
Meaning: Jesus was the Messiah (Savior). This means we should never say "Christ Jesus" or "Jesus Christ". Rather: say Jesus THE Christ. But never limit it to just "Christ". Because that is NOT Jesus. Sadly, many writers and/or translators in the bible; used the "Title" word as it was Jesus who is God. When they should have never done it. For it's another way that satan, lessens what Jesus really is. Dadgum him!
And Jesus WAS, IS and Always WILL be: the only true God Almighty; there will ever be. I said all the above to say this..."Christian Love" can ONLY be real; when anyone believes IN; and worships ONLY Jesus; who IS their ONLY true God! For those who believe that Jesus was ONLY the "Son of God", etc, satan wins every time; in limiting what Jesus really was, is and always be. Praise His Holy Name. AMEN!
End of Story and I rest me case...
...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

    The Gospel:
    Plain and
    Simple
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent
beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3
Ask someone today if they are saved and
you will most likely hear responses like these:
“I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I
have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been
baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good
and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually
knows the gospel that saves them. These use￾less phrases don’t describe a thing about what
the gospel is and has left a devastating effect
of people not knowing what it is that they are
saved from nor how they are saved; which
leaves a more serious effect of people ques￾tioning their salvation.
Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salva￾tion that is in Christ with vague church
sounding phrases that do not communicate
anything. But rather present God’s word with
clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel:
    plain and simple.
Sin was passed upon all men by one man
Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin
(Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of
condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of
this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good
works one might do we are still found sinners
in the sight of our Creator God. And all un￾righteousness and those who follow get in￾dignation and wrath. We cannot be found
righteous for by God’s law we are found sin￾ners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even
one law we are found guilty.
It is for this reason of not being able to
create our own righteousness and being born
in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus
3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in
the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross
2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath
and judgement that was intended for us sin￾ners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial,
and resurrection on our behalf that we are
able to have peace with God and forgiveness
of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good
news is unto all but only those that believe in
it are made righteous in Christ (Romans
    3:22).
It is then after we have heard this good
news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit
and we are now part of Christ’s body the
    church (Eph 1:13)
There is nothing that we need to do, no
good works that are required, and no bad
works that can separate us from our new po￾sition in Christ (Romans 8:35-39).
Faith and belief in this information from
    God’s word is the gospel.
The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your
heart. The gospel is not making him lord of
your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not
    being baptized with water.
So next time someone asks you if you are
saved. Give them the clear assured answer
“Yes! And let me tell you why!”
