- A perfect day of metal detecting and exploring in the forests of New Hampshire. It is Autumn here and nice and warm and a great time to be out hiking and digging. Heading out to this old colonial home site to re metal detect around the clear hole is something I have been looking forward to. Today with my Fisher F19 I was able to dig up a couple of colonial 1700s finds like part of a shoe buckle and cufflink. After that I wanted to do a bit of exploring and following the landscape and rock walls. This is how you have a good time outdoors in the woods of New England.

Hey Charlie. I think your first find was one half of a butterfly hinge I have a couple of complete ones. They're from the late 1600's to very early 1700's. on chests, or boxes, and in some cases early chimney cupboards. Thanks for the hunt..
👍🏻❤️🇨🇦
The cufflink is a great find Charlie, so is the little pork chop lol. I agree it was great to detect, hike and explore land you haven't been to before and surrounded by the fallen leaves of the Autumn, wonderful sweetheart. I loved walking through the woods and forests at this time of year accompanied by the crunch of the leaves with each foot fall, with only that, the sound of birds calling now and again and leaves falling from the trees. It doesn't get much better than that on a good day weather wise lol. Good luck and happy hunting and hiking my friend God bless you and NinJen love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Charlie!

That was a really pretty day. The shot the camera showed when it tipped was wonderful. Nice bits of history. And learning about them from your experience is appreciated, even though my area is only of 1890s mill sites.
A perfect NT when you get my favorite an OX shoe
Awesome hunt!!! Love the woods😃 LOVE them!!!!
I have been watching you for a while now, I love what you do I wish I could do that but those metal detectors are out of my price range. There sure are a lot of places to use one of them in montana. But my question to you. ( which I hope you will read. ) is have you ever run into a bear before ? Or jump up deer ? I hope you bring a you know what for protection !!! Know what I mean VERN ?? Thank you Frank from montana...
I can help you with those questions. On the detector, you can try eBay they come up for sale at a lower price. And yes, in a few videos they have sighted black bears. And anywhere out here in the east you can find deer. Even the cities have pockets of them. Good luck on your search. I picked up two AT Pros and an AT Max from there. I paid half price for them. Can't complain at all they work great! Still looking for for an F-19 I have a couple Fishers and even though they don't have a nice sound they do work really well. But they are the diving types great because of the pulse induction but pretty heavy out of the water so swinging them on land all day is a workout!. If your soil has a lot of minerals and hot rocks look into units that have good ground Ballance. That will help you keep it quiet as your searching. Hope this helps. Happy Thanksgiving.👍
Great dig with the cufflink! Happy swingin n diggin! Have a great NT day!😊😘👍
Hello again Charlie. Nice hike and understanding the exploration. No worries when I fell over before, I saw a beautiful sky and tree tops. It didn’t hurt a bit . Lol lol 😁 Old relics were found on this Not Thursday. Joyce. ❤️🇺🇸 🦃. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽
I'm in Niagara region, between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. 100 years ago was mostly farms, with corn and wheat. Lots of ducks and geese, pheasant, partridge. They would feed on the corn after harvest and season opens. I see at least a dozen shot gun shell ends, paper long gone on each outing. I managed to find an old car back yard mechanic with car parts everywhere. At least it is something found. I'm just an earth janitor.
Charlie nothing like looking around in some old country and detecting for some history.
Great job on your video i enjoyed it and Happy Thanksgiving
Congrats on the colonial cufflink
Another great hunt. I’m so impressed how even that big coil can snipe out the small things. Thanks for sharing the beautiful New Hampshire woods. I hope you and all the guys have a great Thanksgiving.
Ha boss the airplane ✈ blew us over ouch🤪🤪🤪🤣👍
Nice! Thanks Charlie.
Good show! Always enjoy NT
Charlie the rambling man. No telling how those thoughts might turn. Do metal detectors ever signal on metallic things NOT OF THIS WORLD ?
1st like and comment lol
Thank you Charlie for the wonderful autumn hike. It's amazing how far you can see when the leaves fall and the growth is dying back. Thanks for the trip.
That is a very large Angel's Hairpiece .

The SG shell dates to around 1900-10 type of primer ID's it. Head stamp will make the date closer
Nice cufflink Charlie. I see you went into squatch territory, im glad tou didn't stay there because it was marked by them. You were literally standing next to a small cross and a large cross.
You still found colonial era items so even if it wasn't a big button or copper day you know it's waiting, just where is the question🤔 Thanks Charlie👍🎧🇺🇸
Just nice to be out and about on a day like that.
nice as usual. i see you and others filming leave camera to catch yourself walking away. do you ever kinda forget and keep walking only to have to come back quite a ways to get your camera?

Nice hunt and adventure, I enjoyed the video will catch you on the next one United States 🇺🇸
What kind of shovel are you using?
I could hear a squatch banging a tree with a stick
Enjoyed watching N.T once again ✌
Some nice exercise, and great scenery! 😎👍
Crazy how a tree that was made into a mast returns to the earth if the ship sinks and wood rots

Any idea why they put shoes on such a small oxen? I can't imagine them doing much work at all for being so small.
Love them old sites--Keep a swinging
