Wow so many cool finds and so many awesome diggers! Looked like such a fun event! Great to see our neighboring diggers Shawn from 603 Diggaz and Bekah from Maine Dert Sweepahs in the background. Cant wait to see what your restored pickup truck comes out like! Another great event and episode! Thanks for sharing!
Wow, incredible finds there. As a Brit I love the heart shaped padlock with 'VR' on it for 'Victoria Regina' on it Queen Victoria (1837 - 1901). Wonderful to see the youngsters finding good stuff.
Wow Jason and Doug looked like a great time. So many awesome Relics and Coins. So many Bucket Listers you showed us. Half Dime the complete lock. I Love the Cameo piece so Beautiful. The two Buttons wow. Because of you Jason and Doug some of us that would of never seen the George Washington and Massachusetts Buttons thank you. Awesome History there. Was great to see Stef and Nicki with you guys. Take Care an thank you for sharing. Doug the 1907 Dog Tag Love it. That's the oldest Dog Tags I've ever found. I found 2 a few years back in a yard. Ely was founded in 1906. I Believe the numbers were 30 and 40.
So cool to be featured in your video with my measly lead seal among all those terrific finds! Nonetheless it's an incredible piece of history. I can't wait to see what the gang gets up to next video. It was a dream come true to meet both you and Doug, and thank you for taking the time to talk to me about all my finds, including the half of a bull's nose ring and a horseshoe "My First One Ever"! - Owen "The Ironman"
Nic and I finally got to sit down and watch this - what a great day we had! We didn’t dig many plugs per usual, lol, but always awesome to hang out with you and Doug! Can’t wait to see you guys again soon! 😄
My favourite finds to make over here across the pond are buttons especially early military from 1780 - 1830. The two buttons in this video are fantastic. 😍. P.s. I personally LOL know someone else called Lance.😊.
My home state sure knows how to throw a detecting party! Looks like an amazing time was had by all, and you got to meet so many fellow hunters and great people, plus you scored some nice gifts AND got to witness 2 absolutely historic buttons being found. I've talked with Stef and she's awesome, as you know. Lord willing, I'll join you on one of these in the not too distant future🙏
What a fantastic time! So sad I had to miss this one! Some really incredible finds. GW!! And that Militia button is awesome!! I never want to miss one again 🤣 😢 Wicked happy hunting!!
Not sure if someone's already mentioned this, but the brass on the old padlock shows a crown with "VR" below. It may be English signifying "Victoria Regina".
Looked like such a great time!! I enjoyed you guys talking with so many others and showing what they found, especially the young participants! You’ve made their day!!! Such great and cool finds, thanks for sharing, y’all!
Great video Jason, well put together! It was a great day for sure and it was nice seeing you and Doug again. Looking forward to the next hunt for sure. What a great day of awesome finds and meeting great people. Best hobby ever for sure!!! Ron from RI
It's really crazy!!!!! A new friend of mine and I were detecting a historic colonial Homesite of Ethan Allen, or Ira Allen, not sure which of them it was, but my friend found a GW in almost mint condition 2 weeks ago. I'm not sure he realizes how important that button is
This was such a great hunt, very cool stuff. You guys are my favorite metal detecting channel. Never a dull moment. I'm in rochester ny maybe one day you guys can come and do a hunt here, would be great to hunt with you two.
The guy that restores the toys, was that a Ford Jubilee NAA tractor behind him?? I love those old American Ford tractors! I have a Ford-Ferguson 2N here in Ireland. It doesn't run but some day it will live again.. 🚜
Yes it was! I recorded that clip in front of the tractor specifically because it was so cool looking. This one didn’t currently run either but all the guts were there
Hello! You seem to have had a decent breeze there. Visitors ask us far South Western Cornish, "Does it blow like this all the while?" We say, "Nope, sometimes it'll blow from the North and the East, too"😉. Cool 'T' shirt! Fair play, that's a louster! The diversification of your finds is so interesting, and the ways you explain their histories makes this an invaluable channel. History is key, learning it through vibrant tutelage is essential, I think. Americans are so polite, compared to 'our lot', in general. No way I'd go to the huge commercial 'digs' in UK: too many droves of, 'rough as rats, dull as mats.' I'd definitely go to a US dig though. Real nice folk. As I said before, the vibrancy and camaraderie here is bang-on. Brilliant finds. Thank you very much for 'taking me along.'
I'm glad you liked my lock. It cleaned up ok and is sitting on my desk for all to see. I learned that Queen Victoria information while it was sitting in my electrolysis setup. I tried finding an example online of that Mickey eared, pointy bottom, lock but couldn't find a match to date it more specifically.
Your videos are awesome and you guys are so funny. I am from Oregon was wondering if there would be ever a chance to metal detect with you all. It would be a blast.
I am right I’m just trying to be modest 🤣😂 I always enjoy your videos thanks! I’m from Buffalo ny but I’m out west in nevada now. Someday I will get to metal detect!
Karen probably brought them thar pigs from North Cackalacky with her. I apologize Karen not all of us here in NC are swine LMAO :) Nice to meet you. Hope you ended up finding lots of kewl stuffs. :) PLUR.
Of course, you know that the padlock has a Victoria Regina+ Crown imprint on it...right? As in Queen Victoria. That could be somewhat of a historically important early to mid 1800s find to be fair.
You guys are the best! Thank you for my cameo! I always look forward to the videos!!!! 😂- copper stacks
What a great video, amazing once in a life time finds. The Massachusetts button and the GW inauguration button.
Wow so many cool finds and so many awesome diggers! Looked like such a fun event! Great to see our neighboring diggers Shawn from 603 Diggaz and Bekah from Maine Dert Sweepahs in the background. Great time meeting you Jason and Doug! Still can’t believe I found that Massachusetts Militia button. Can’t wait for the next DFA event!
-Lance
That was a heck of a find Lance! It was great meeting you both and next DFA hunt I might just have to follow you two guys around! 🙂
@@QuarterHoarder I usually just follow my son around he seems to find everything 🤣 I’m just the guy that digs the holes. Happy hunting!
That was a stellar button, definitely a highlight of the day, Lance!

Really nice to meet you Owen. There was some great stuff found this hunt and I’m glad you got some yourself!
Never measly! I’ve only ever found one seal land-locked out here in KS! It was a great find and I’d bet a blast! ATB!
Jason and Doug that looked like such a good hunt, especially with the HGW and Mass Militia button found!
Nic and I finally got to sit down and watch this - what a great day we had! We didn’t dig many plugs per usual, lol, but always awesome to hang out with you and Doug! Can’t wait to see you guys again soon! 😄
Cool finds looks like everyone was enjoying themselves 😊 I
Looks like a great hunt by the group! Congrats to all! And GO PHILLIES!!!
@dogtagdoug6751 I'm loving it! I'm in the Cincy area, so a die hard Reds fan, but I love the drive of this Phillies team. They are unstoppable!

Really was a super event. I especially liked meeting the diggers! Of course, I am a fan of Stef (and Nicola!) already.
It was an awesome time for sure! 😊
Bruce's token is a Wm. Henry Harrison Tippecanoe eagle campaign token. Great video and hunt Jason & Doug!!
Excitement in the air! What a treasure hunt. A lot of history dug up.
Love yours and Dougs interaction with all your fans.

Man what a great day we had, so fun. Met some awesome people, and saw some amazing finds 🏋🏻♂️
What a dig ... !!! GW ... Awesome
my coolest spill find, while detecting, was an 1849 seated half dime with a 1854 seated quarter. Good finds, Dog tag Doug!
What a fantastic time! So sad I had to miss this one! Some really incredible finds. GW!! And that Militia button is awesome!! I never want to miss one again 🤣 😢 Wicked happy hunting!!

Coolest finds ever. Xavier showed out. Congratulations Xavier!!! Along with everyone else. Fun hunt. Thanks for sharing!!!
Wow you never cease to amaze me. Great finds.🤗👍😘
Great hunt in RI , nice finds ; love the Mass Militia button
The VR with crown appears to be the same markings as found on British Victorian military firearms, so could be related to British military.
Definitely a great event.
Great show guys. Always look forward to seeing what comes next. You guys rock
Wow , what awesome history there , great finds !
Awesome video with great content thank you for sharing this six stars
Great hunt. You guys meet the nicest people. I want hair like Stef.
All you’ve got to do is start every morning with a jolt of electricity and BAM! There it is. The secret is finally out. 😆
Just wait til I win the Irish Lotto and I'll be joining you all on one of those digs!! 😉☘

WOWZERS!! Absolutely amazing finds / saves by many!!! Looked like an amazing hunt!
Great to see you again this past weekend Ally! Hopefully we’ll be able to join you up there soon!
Cool lock with Doug number 2. The VR means Victoria Regina, which was Queen Victoria.
I didn’t know that, thanks for the information!
@@QuarterHoarder I'm just full of random trivia, lol... Looks like an awesome event, I'll have to keep an eye out if they have another one.

@@douglasrogerson5089 well she was Queen from 1837 until 1901, so that narrows the date down a little...
Great video and finds .Can't wait to see the truck
Amazing, keep up the good stuff
Great trip guys. Carl
That looked like a great event. I would love to go to an event that you and Dog Tag Doug are at. It would be amazing to get to meet you guys.
That's insane, once it gets cold again I'm gonna start my detecting adventures again
Awesome match case. Actually on the back it states it’s from the NY worlds fair in 1939
Really cool event I hope to attend one someday a lot of great finds God Bless and happy dirt fishing…Virgil
Gold bar Doug, haha, I’m thinking underwear doug, what gifts he would get then.
So cool! Wish I could find stuff like that here in Missouri.

Hello Quarter Hoarder,DogTag Doug
Amazing finds everyone 🤩💥
Great video guys keep on going from Prince Edward Island Canada.
That gifted dog tag is super cool, I actually live town over from Lisbon Maine, where that tag is from!

Neat shirt design
Religious medal is of the Little Flower, St. Teresa of Lisseau.
Just found an 1861 Half Dime in perfect condition..no wonder people lost them..they are so tiny

The medal was St. Therese of Lisieux
Whats with the guy on very right of screen wth backpack @ 6: 53 to 7:20, looks like a glitch in the matrix. Great video looks like all had a fun time.
Wow👊
What's blurred off of Steph right sleeve?
Of course, you know that the padlock has a Victoria Regina+ Crown imprint on it...right?
As in Queen Victoria.
That could be somewhat of a historically important early to mid 1800s find to be fair.
