Sultry, mature, beautiful Margo. Been awesome to follow The Cowboy Junkies for years. Thank you. Amazing talents! Come see us in Boulder, CO!! Red Rocks. Don't stop!
I,m 82 a heavy & rock n roll fan since the beginng and it;s only in the last week I,ve discovered this band my god what have I missed they,re brilliant her voice is superb and i,ve been watching and listening all weekend. If they ever come to the UK I wiil definitely go to see them!!
Right with you Anthony.... I did listen to Trinity Sessions when released in '86 ...but had no idea the music that came from this incredible band..... Margo and the rest give me chills... Happy listening
From 'Miles from Our Home' , Michael was always an excellent songwriter and Margo's voice gives that point of passion , which is a constant on Cowboy Junkies' music .
They are new to me, and I love what I hear. I am mad at myself for not finding them sooner. I will buy everything that I can get my hands on. Margo has the most awesome voice and delivery!
They haven't lost a step, and Margo is mesmerizing as always This song is from 1998's "Miles From Our Home", the last Cowboy Junkies CD I shelled out actual money for and I'm happy to be revisiting this twenty years later. Maybe I'll actually get to see them live this year for the first time ever!
Happy to say I've finally seen them live and bought the new CD. The show was transcendent. Shed a tear when they played "Crescent Moon" early in their set. ❤
Thanks for posting this. Love the studio/album version but will never tire of seeing it live. Just a great tune to watch the band sink its teeth into. PS get well soon Mike.
A band to sway with at two in the morning outside Calgary or Livingston, Mt. Drinking a moosedrool, brings back some outstanding memories of a mesmerizing Times.
Always liked the album version on "Miles from our home" since it has a live feel to it. But seen them live dozens of times and each time surpasses the album. They just are a "see them live band".
Perfect song/performance by a great group beautiful soulful singer. My type of religious song. Jesus hanging on the cross said to Peter - I can see your house
Excellent passionate performance.......love his son writing/poetry........and love the way she sings and they way they put it all together. Love this song and this band.
Sat at my window watched the world Wake up this morning Purple sky slowly turning golden, Distant elms so orange You'd swear they're burning All this flowing water Has got my mind wandering Do you ever finally reach A point of knowing Or do you just wake up one day And say I am going? What will I tell you When you ask me why I'm crying? Will I point above At the Red Tail gracefully soaring Or down to below where its prey Is quietly trembling? Two thousand years ago Jesus is left is left there hanging Purple sky slowly turning golden Cowards at his feet loudly laughing Loved ones stumbling homeward Their worlds reeling Red Tail above my head quietly soaring Water turns from ice, creek is roaring He says enough of all this shit, I am going

great band but why do they need supporet from the state to do theyr videos, would see young struggling artists get that but a band been together for over 30 years and are breadwinners?
The music, the melody, the vocals. All the consistent parts the make the Cowboy Junkies so special. Loved them a long time.

Armonia di gruppo ,musica che ti scivola via accompagnata dalla presenza di una bella donna .
The bassist looks like Saul Goodman in disguise.
