Hi Brett, I don’t remember which rules you have overseas, but in Europe, if you want to fly in an urban contest, you need to stay under 250gr., therefore the DJI mini is a must. I owned either Pro 2 , Pro 2 Zoom and Mini 1, but the Mini is the most used, in terms of circumstances. For me doing the upgrade to Mini 3 is almost a Must, especially due to Ocusync 3… which is completely missed on Mini 1
Absolutely wrong! If you want to fly a drone it does not matter how many GR the drones has. As long it has sensors or camera you have the same rules as a drone with 500 GR!
@@Super-ot2mx Hi man, sorry…I don’t want to start a discussion, but I know the rules in Europe, and in my Country that is part of it. The fact that a drone has a camera is right and you need to register it, but this is only a part of the story. Registering the drone, it doesn’t mean that you can use it within the urban area ( almost all medium and big cities are ), unless you ask a special permission. However, our laws stated that under 250gr you don’t need a EASA certification ( that requires an examination/ test ) and you can use the drone within the urban area ( if allowed ). If the drone is above this weight you need a certification, and you can’t fly within urban area, but you need to observe a specific distance and you can’t fly over groups of people.

I’m still deciding between air2s and mini 3 pro. I currently have a mini1 and I found a super good deal for air2s with flymore kit. Which one I should get or I should hold on to my mini1?
I like the air 2s better by far for the cost. I plan to post drone footage on RUclips so even if I get the 249g mini drone I get no benefit because I still have to have a part 107 remote pilot license because I would be monetizing the content. The Air 2S has 5K video, Mini can't match that. You might say, who needs that right? Well one of the many advantages of that is in the editing room. You can crop into shots and still produce something that's at 4K.
NEVER pick the Mini over Air2 are you kidding me....249 grams doesn't handle flying as good as the air 2 ... way better flyer and hits 42 mph no problem

Air2s batteries are horrible?
Never heard that, they seem to be rated really well. They just cost more because of their size.
Yeah, I did a real world battery test with the Air 2S here: ruclips.net/video/U_s6X8V2ZXw/видео.html
I won't buy either one since I have the Mavic 3, however if I decide that I need to fly indoors, the Mini 3 would obviously have to be my choice. (I have the Air 2 as a backup, and can get by with its image quality.)
I’m getting rid of my mavic 2 pro in favor of the mini 3 pro 🤷🏻♂️
Excellent review!!! Straight to point and precise. Thanks a lot.
I am tossing up between the two drones. does the wind drift the mini more than the 2s due to its lighter weight?
250 gram drones will barely fly in very strong winds! (I have Mini 2)
Just one question. Witch has the best zoom quality?
Thanks for watching!🔝🔝🔝
Message right now I have something
For you!!!
Very good. God bless u!
i sold my mavic air wanting to upgrade to air 2s. but now I'm in dilemma. mini pro with a controller sounds like a better deal as long as the Maximum Takeoff Altitude is the same since i'm mostly flying in the Everest region
The air 2s is way better overall it’s power is great it gains altitude quick and is way better in wind rain and bad weather plus a better camera in nearly every way minus dark it just makes sense only down side is battery life so you’ll need 2 batteries minimum if your serious about filming.
@@ar12. Thank you for your suggestion. Hope to see the comparison video. Getting a RC controller with a screen for the same price is enticing. Setting up with phone is a hassle when you are on the move
@@sidth78 yeah I know it’s tacky overall with setup and all but i can vouch that I’ve flown my air 2s in 50km/h wind and got amazing photos and video (I’ll have to upload some footage) I’ve also flown at higher altitudes it increases easily compared to a mini 2 I’ve flown before I can’t really describe it but the bigger drones have a sort of confidence about them when flying with a lot more stability but wait for the video comparison and you’ll see the difference but buy what’s practical for your situation.
solid edit!
thenx for review.
👍❤️
Does the mini 3 pro have follow me mode?
Yes it does.
Based on the video I saw of the Mini 3 Pro the video quality looks the same aa the mini 2.
I think it is a little better compared to the Mini 2, but we have to see raw footage. I think the Nano+ will stay King, certainly in low light scenario's😀That's why I keep my Nano+ for sure!🇳🇱
@@gekoldronevideos Based on the footage I saw… it look the same as the mini 2. Maybe a bit better in low light but the definition is the same as the mini 2. But it could be the way they compressed the upload file.
@@InteractiveDNA, Let’s wait and see!
