Do you relate? Let me know in the comments! I think that the solution is not in perfectionism, it's not in small groups doing big actions, it's in big groups - doing small! 🤓
Definitely agree on this, small actions is what makes sustainability sustainable also in your personal life! Thank you for sharing this. And that sandwich at the end looked so yum🤤
I gave up eating animal products as part of recovering from COVID at the start of 2020. It was the only variable I had left to change that could possibly bring down the skyrocketing blood pressure I had after the infection. It worked, and I honestly am not willing to take the risk of going back. I am aware of, and support, the animal welfare reasons why some people choose to not eat animal products, but I don't focus on or discuss those reasons with people who eat animal products because I often see a mental wall go up when their cognitive dissonance becomes too uncomfortable. I find that they listen better when I focus my discussion on the health benefits I've experienced. My goal is to reach people my age who are sitting on the fence; I want to coax them over to this side of the fence, not buffet them over to the other side by making them too uncomfortable.
Super relevant and important information - to the fellow veggies out there remember it's not just about eating plant based but eating local and that which is environmentally friendly -for example your standard store bought vegetables are still hurting the planet due to modern intensive and destructive agriculture. Find local food markets or small scale gardens and farmers. Learn how to grow your own food even if it's just a cherry tomato plant in your window
love love this message!! I believe you can listen to your body and eat what feels right to you all while co-existing with the planet and being environmentally conscious
Such a great video! I totally agree. I believe that already being conscious and wanting to make a change is already a good start. I hear so many people that don't want to know and believe that even reducing is not enough so they would just carry on eating animal products every day. But it's so true that we need to remove the judgement. ❤
I've switched my diet 10 years ago and went straight into veganism..i loved it and stuck with it for the firdt 6 years, until i started working in very remote areas of the tropics. Conservation work was hard and draining, i loved it but i soon realised that the lack of nutrients in the jungle took a toll on me. So i started eating the fish we caught in the river and later on the eggs our village chicken layed. I realized there that we live in privilege in europe and the West, privilege to choose and have everything available at all times. So while im here i do stick to my vegan diet. When I'm in remote areas i do open up for vegetarian and rarely but sometimes even meat and fish options. Only when there's no other choice tho...im happy with it, it gives me the ultimate freedom to choose and still be healthy for myself and the planet😊
I love plant based food and honestly I probably eat about 85% vegan diet…I love to cook with pulses and vegetables. Cheese and non-farmed salmon are my main exceptions 🤦🏻♂️
It’s true, it’s quiet difficult to go complete vegan but being vegetarian is great! I feel like meat can be accepted sometimes when it’s sourced the most ethical way, with a sustainable quota when it comes to wild meat
Reducetarian over here! I for sure am on my journey to eat less non-animal products. I'm not that into meat, so that was an easy one, but I do love me some nice Portuguese fish and shellfish dishes. It's hard!
I do NOT understand why I should follow a Vegan diet if I love nature, animals and donate a lot to climate change. Yes, I EAT MEAT and it infuriates me when something is imposed on me. It feels like vegans are doing their outreach the same as an LGBT community. 10:09

Well done! The most important thing is just to try and get started, isn't it?
I eat vegan like 90% of the time but it’s Hard to Go 100% vegan ughhh working on it!
Wish you to achieve all 100% 💪

Thank you for this! You should feel free to be flexitarian.

I think you should not. You made first steps already!

Veganism it's the people choice, not the pressure.
Thanks for this! We love well-made videos that are informative and fun to watch!
