- Hello my friends! 💗
With the secret stone he took from Sonia, Ganondorf turns into the Demon King. The gloom that issues from his body creates countless monsters that howl across the world. Rauru goes to SOnia's side to help his fallen queen. Though furious at Ganondorf, he knows the Demon King is too powerful to confront at that moment. He retreats with Zelda.
These memories cutscenes are unlocked from finding the Geoglyphs in the Impa and the Geoglyphs / The Dragon's Tears questline, Tear of the Dragon Recovered Memory #8

This is a great clip because it truly establishes Ganondorf as a terrifying threat.
Hyrule is *fucked* and that’s what we’re up against.
That’s one of my favorite tropes, when the story very clearly establishes the extreme danger of the villain.
3:07 I didnt notice until now how mad Raru was. His ears started twitching, and his 3rd eye opened... he was about to lose it if Zelda didnt stop him...
Like Dimitri
Damn- dude loved his wife.
zelda fast traveling to a shrine 💀
I love that his Demon King design is a mix of a japanese Oni, Skyward Sword's Demise and Hyrule Warriors' long red hair.
well he did look like a samurai in this game, ya know?
I remember finishing up my Dragon Tear quest and this memory is the ‘SECOND’ last one i need. I hoped it’ll be a big one and I was not disappointed. I felt goosebumps watching it.
It was my 3rd. I found it after finding the First 2 In order somehow. I thought the 3 in Hebra were the first. I was wrong. Suddenly sonia was Dead and i went "WTF IS GOING ON THIS ISNT THE 3RD MEMORY" yep. Rip. Thats why i Dont like scattered Memories. Was cool anyways
Ganondorf did all this with *one* secret stone. Imagine him with all eight of them 💀
Dude they’ll be fucked 😂😂😂
Majoras mask on steroids 😂
Ganondorf is like the Zelda version of Thanos.
Basically god.
I don’t know why but I got so hyped when Zelda used the Purah pad, cause I feel like its so cool that a game mechanic is used canonically
This memory is so cool! I hope ganondorf transforms into that form with the long red hair in the final boss fight!
Can I give you the answer, or do you prefer not to avoid spoilers.
@@Omega_Redstone I'd prefer to not have spoilers thx
Ganondorf with the long hair looks dead on like Demise the change of skin, the color of his hair, his cape his buff body I like it
I think this version of Ganondorf is the most intimidating and most menacing out of any other Ganondorf especially TP’s Ganondorf
This is one of the best scenes I've ever seen in any video game, ever.
I absolutely love Zelda's terrified expression at 1:31
1:20 had me in complete awe. From being the little boy who loved Ocarina Of Time and the portrayal of Ganondorf, to now, I felt that same magic again. My favorite video game villain was back with a vengeance and had full body chills!
What was most horrifying to me about this was the Blood Moon. Not because of its appearance, but the implications. This was its first appearance, born from the _bleed-off_ of the Demon King's power. A force powerful enough to sweep over Hyrule time and again, reviving and empowering his army of monsters endlessly and even allowing avatars of himself like Calamity Ganon, which took everything Zelda had _just to contain,_ to be born into the world given enough time to build itself up...all that from, effectively, his _aura,_ the power that was bleeding off of him unused _even while sealed away._ To me, this showed how truly and horrifyingly powerful Demon King Ganondorf truly is.
His transformation here is definately more impressive than when he got the Triforce of Power in OoT. I really like OoT, but Ganondorf there doesnt seem to give off anything like he's wieleing one of the most powerful objects in the world.
I would say otherwise as the secret stones really don't give the sages or any of the others that much power whereas ganondorf gets it and suddenly becomes a god. I feel like it's more that he gets it out of bad plot whereas Ganon in OoT is a straight up monster.
@@notanyone2433Yeah that also kinda bothers me. It makes sense for him to be able to use the secret stone to materalize Demise's hatred into Gloom and give himself this massive power, but from the perspective of this game alone he's using the same power as the sages yet is still infinitely stronger than them. They could've at least had the others question it and have it be a "if you know, you know" situation.
@@speedude0164Maybe secret stones that were attached to the old Sage’s spirits are weaker because of the host being dead when it‘s given to the new Sages?
@@speedude0164 Secret stones don't give their users power, it amplifies them. At the end of the day, the sages were just mortals with exceptional skills that got amplified through the stones.
Ganondorf is a reincarnated deity, same deal as Zelda and assumedly Sonia. He always was this overpowered at the end of the day, the stone only allowed him to reach his full potential.
@@The94Venom The likeliest explanation is that the secret stone materialized Demise's hatred into gloom, which is quite cool, but the only time we ever get a hint of Ganondorf having any powers pre-stone is when puppet Zelda disintegrates into gloom. Otherwise the game just presents him as an evil guy who got insanely strong via the stone. And from Ganondorf's perspective he shouldn't even know he's the Demon King reincarnated and that the stone would give him so much power, at which point his plan wouldn't work at all. We're bound to learn more about the era of Hyrule's founding in the DLC, so maybe they'll explain how he already had an exceptional dark power that was cranked up to 11 by the stone. Zelda wouldn't have seen him use it in her memories so it's plausible.
I love that Rauru looks like a fennec fox 🦊
The Best ganondorf
Honestly, how are we supposed to defeat him when he looks that good? Now we know why the game was developed for 4-5 years…They made Ganondorf way too attractive… But the wait was worth it
Ganondorf about to invade Labrynna
I swear to god if i dont get to finish of ganondorf extremely brutal like Windwaker or Twilight Princess. This will be my new least favorite zelda Game. Hes so cool in this one
Who else but dragmire 😃
This guy predates Dragmire
