How about a quilt with your memory shirts / items???
That is a good idea and she can make a video of how to make a quilt id like to watch something
Like that it would be interesting
That’s what I would have suggested
I second this!!!!
would be a fantastic backdrop tapestry for vids bun
When it comes to clothes, my decluttering rules are 1. If it doesn't fit, donate. 2. If I haven't worn it in over a year, donate. But I feel like this was a big step for you. Proud of you, Bunny.
As a professional organizer, I think you’d really benefit from support. For those with strong material attachment, the brain pain receptors often light up when they have to part with memory items. The discomfort you feel is real and I’ve worked with clients who experience such pain as they let go of their past. You seem to be such a sensitive soul. Be kind to yourself and perhaps consider partnering with both a therapist and professional organizer off camera to give you the team you need to accomplish your goals. I am cheering you on.❤️🎉
So basically she's crazy
ella elise thats. not what she said at all?
this is such a constructive comment:)
A memory quilt is a great idea!! And turning shirts into pillow/ pillow case. Or make mini shirts for your dolls 🤷🏻♀️
We make memory quilts out of our old band tshirts! We also cut them up and frame them.
Shirt: "I'm like 104% tired."
Bunny: "Accurate, were keeping that."
LOL
I have seen that shirt before and want it SO BAD 🤣
Declutter diaries is my new favourite thing
sameeee.
Bunny I am so proud of you. I have been a swamp family member for a long time and this is a wonderful series. I am a Professional Organizer and any progress is good. One step at a time. I have keep moving forward tattooed on my arm. Meet the Robinsons is a favorite movie of mine. Keep Moving Forward Bunny. The swamp fam is here.
😂😂😂What Bunny keeps, I would toss. What she tosses, I would keep.😂😂😂 We would so be besties.❤️❤️❤️
"I was trying to impress my boyfriend at the time, god bless."
Relatable. 🤦🏻
You could always make a t-shirt/clothing blanket.
Kayla Wilcox I wish just going to suggest this :)
I was gonna do this with my daughter’s baby clothes. I lost everything in a fire though a few years ago :/
@@CreepyCakes oh my god im so sorry you went through that. I hope you and your family are fine
No No Thankfully yes, we’re all doing great. Better than before in fact.
YES. i hope she does this! it'd clear out a lot of space especially for ones she doesn't wear!
9:54 'im like 104% tired'
"accurate, we're keeping that"
I used to be exactly the same way but what helped me was a fire. I lost 5,000 of my books. Most of them were historical ones. I had a screen play from Romeo and Juliet from 1840 that even had side notes from the actors in it. My uncle gave it too me. That was the hardest thing I lost. After the fire not many things seemed very important anymore. Luckily the fire wasn't so bad that I lost everything. I didn't lose my records or anything in my hope chest. Thank the Lord!
please make like 100 more of these kinds of videos, they’re my fave
Yessss!!! 💖🤗
Seriously! I could watch forever!
The clothes that u wana keep. Sew them together and repurpose it into a blanket. That way you can hold on to your memories but still feel practical!
That's an awesome idea!
I've done this with me and my partners favourite slogan and vintage shirts from over the years and it's my favourite thing I've ever made
There are companies you can send them to that'll make a blanket for you too
Yeah my BFF did that with all her T-shirt’s from High School and it was cool!
I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to be friends with a RUclipsr more in my life hahah watching your videos really just make my day every time
The fact you posted pics from the past is awesome 👏🏽☺️
‘I’m like 104% tired’
“accurate. we’re keeping that.”
😂😂
Memory quilts are such an awesome idea! Can’t wait to see how yours turn out!
Idea! Maybe you should do like a memory room where you put a bunch of your really nostalgic items and you can go in there to destress and maybe it would help alleviate some of the clutter issues
The question is if it wouldn't turn into a hoarding room overtime.
Boo Whoo if it did at least it would be more contained to one area
She could frame clothing items on the walls to save space in the room.
I CANNOT keep things I know I won’t wear. Lol. I feel like I’m suffocating 😂 except t shirts. I keep those for quilts!
Super proud of you for starting this series and following through with it! Decluttering is awful, but the final result is so satisfying.
Lamp!
I'm so happy to have another installment of the Declutter Diaries! The first episode motivated me to go through (and donate) some old clothes that I hadn't worn in years! 😊
Philippe Parle Peu SAME, it’s a great company while doing it too
I don’t remember what shirt I wore on my first date my memory sucks which is probably why I am good at getting rid of stuff. You got this get rid of how ever much you can
Am I the only that has noticed how well bunny has gotten while trying to get rid of things she doesn't need anymore? So proud of you girl!
Getting racks would keep things a little bit more organized than keeping them in bins. The bins will be fine for moving and other stuff like that but I feel like you'd appreciate your stuff more if you actually knew what you had. You might even try to wear a few of them more often realizing that they are more accessible. the things that you're not going to wear that you want to keep you can have a separate area for for displaying but everything else should be out where you can wear and when you realize you don't want to wear it or fell out of love with it you can donate it.
I’m proud of you because normally even discussing purging items would make you immediately shake your head no and change the subject lol
I have very limited closet space so I'm super good at not keeping things I don't wear. It's honestly a blessing.
As I'm watching this I kept saying out loud, "it's ok, you don't have to justify anything to us"! Keep what makes you happy. A lot of us are here to enjoy you, encourage you and walk down memory lane with you! Thanks for sharing!
" I was trying to impress my boyfriend at the time, God bless."
Most relatable thing ever.
doodlemonster204 ROFL I was just having a convo about getting into alternative rock just to piss off a former boyfriend! 🤣🤘🏻 I’ve never been one to follow the crowd, and our school was rural and country.
Woman! Bunny! Hear me please!
This is the BEST, MOST RELATEABLE thing you can post for girls reaching their 30s.
Do not be discouraged, just power through.
PS: Mark Eahcobs *blows raspberry* is such a mood

I love these videos. They make me feel less overwhelmed with my own decluttering process. Setting manageable goals to meet, instead of expecting to fix everything in a day is definitely something I need to work on
It’s so nice watching this as it brings back memories of how fashion used to be in the 90’s 😂 I love it!! 💖💖
You should make your sentimental stuff into pillows. or a curtain/quilt/blanket. You can also frame them. like wrapping a shirt around card board or stapling it in the back & putting it pack into a picture frame/shadow box. but idk how you would feel about hanging that stuff on your walls.
Also are you only donating your clothes?
Donating stuff is really good but I'm kinda sad because i would want to buy some of your smaller clothes lol.
i was gonna say to make a blanket too
I save my kids' t-shirts from sports and events to have made into memory quilts one day. Those are so nice!
this is exactly what i did. i was a teacher for 8 years and all my t-shirts i got from there i made into a quilt. best thing i ever did.
Wow you done so well! 66 to keep, 69 to donate/throw - that's really good progress! Love you bunny ❤
“How do I look?”
*rips Velcro*
“Okay” 😂😂😂
I’m seriously so proud of you bunny! You’ve come so far from when you didn’t really know if you wanted to do RUclips anymore or not. You can really tell how much happier you are lately. I love your enthusiasm and just everything about your videos now. You’re producing things you want to and I love it. I can really see the real you in these videos. You’re doing amazing❤️
Those pictures... when dogman was puppyman!
He was so handsome!
Closet tour!!! Also do you have a prop closet? You should consider dedicating a space just for your YT things 💕
Not boring at all!! This is my favorite series. Please continue 😊♥️
I love how genuine u are. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who can hear u getting emotional holding back when u talk about memories & feel like I see ur eyes get glassy for .03 seconds 😭❤ ... if not then someone slipped something in my drink
The best part of this video (all around great) has to be the OLD PHOTOS OF HER AND DOGMAN AWWWW!!
Bunny you should have your own thrift store with the stuff you don't want, that would be cool to go to 🤓
Sonia Lopez that would be AWESOME!!! Could you even IMAGINE😩😩❗️❗️🤪🤪 I would take a trip to Texas just to shop there! Great idea!
That would be an amazing business venture for Bunny!
Or go thrifting regularly for your store
Or a pop up shop!
I agree with the memories quilts idea. Also, You could collab with Coolirpa!! Have her upcycle your stuff!!!!! She makes magic!! Please contact her!!
paygee yessssss!!!! Amazing idea!!! They can also go thrifting together!!
I feel a change in Bunny’s attitude and videos. It’s definitely a positive one! I’ve been a fan for many years and it warms my heart to feel and see that she’s getting her groove back. 😩🧡🐊
SO precious! I love how you added photos of your past and not just throwing us out there, wondering how you two looked. But omg, soo sooo soosososooo precious!!!! I can't get over it. You two are so adorable. Love you, Bunni and Dogman
This 👏is👏the👏video👏I 👏NEEDED.
I still have a dress from elementary school in my closet....
....
I'm 25
Oof!!!
I'm 40 and have a jacket from when I was 10 so yeah. I get it.
I have shirts from middle school... I'm 53. Lol
I've got my high school sweatshirt from track. I graduated in 1972. ✌️
I just got rid of my communion dress from age like 9... I'll be 28 😂
Give yourself time. You getting rid of anything is a step forward! 😊 If you improve by 1% a day that's 365% better than it was!
You made a ton of progress. You met and surpassed your goal. You kept about as much as you got rid of and put things aside to think about later. You did great Bunny! So happy to watch these videos and I can’t wait for part 2.
I think the quilt idea is a good one also. Love you and your videos!
girl i'll watch you do literally anything because ily and i support you forever. i LOVE watching/listening to you talk in your videos while i walk my dog every day. it's like talking to a friend.
You got this, Bun-Buns! Ive got a TON of hoarderific tendencies because Im a single mum who grew up... Well, ill just say it, Poor AF. Whenever I get rid of stuff, I worry Ill need it and also, I never used to be able to afford anything. I feel you on regretting getting rid of stuff, I have things I think about VERY regularly that I wish Id not parted with. All that said, Ive been on a journey of decluttering my home and I can tell you, it gets easier. Not only easier, it gets addictive! Since Ive been decluttering in a more healthy way, Ive had zero regret about parting with the things I have. Ive been doing sorta my own take on the Konmari (prob misspelled that) organization technique. Basically, if something gives me joy, I keep it. I dont worry about folding stuff the way she says or dumping it all out it a pile. Thats too in depth for people like me that are super busy and have this much stuff. BUT the method on figuring out what to keep/part with truly helps. maybe some day Ill be organized enought to try the other stuff but its too minimalist for me.
So, dont let anyone make ya feel weird about keeping certain things. Also, Since parting with stuff, Ive seen how happy it makes my son to have more space he can grow and play in. Even my cat seems happier with the space and less stressed. It wasnt like she was noticably stressed but she deffinately seems to love running and playing more now that theres more space. My home wasnt like hoarders episodes but I deffinately had too much stuff. We feel lighter and happier and now I catch myself *gasp!* WANTING to clean and organize more!
Good luck and keep it up. Dont let anyone make you feel guilty and just keep what you need and love. Also, finding a "home" for kept items, (a place to display them) has helped for me too! Also, since you sew, you could do a memory quilt for you and dogmans bed out of some of the sentimental items you cant wear anymore! Luv ya, Bunny!!
moar moar moar. listen ill watch 5 hours of u going through clothes like this its no issueeee
It's like helping your friend clean their room. 💚
Lynacy Wade exactly!
Same
I'm a nostalgic person, too- I have a crazy hard time getting rid of stuff. I like clutter. I like when I clean my room and get distracted looking in a box of old stuff. So, as someone in the same boat as you: I'm proud of you!! You let go a bunch of stuff!
You set a goal of 50 items, you went way past that and you still have more to go thru!!! That's so much progress. Set a new number for the boxes remaining. You got this girl!
Girlllll poshmark that stuff you dont want as your fans we would love a piece from your closet!!!!
Yes! And if she’s inclined, donate to charity the proceeds. I always find that donating to causes I believe in helps me donate more.
Stop worrying about what we might say and do what you want to! We don't live your life. We don't get to say what you do and how you run your business.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Loved this! I completely understand how hard it is to get rid of sentimental items.
Love ya bunny! 🐇
Make a nine-patch memory quilt, but if you can't make it yourself, hire it done with a skilled quilter. Some quilters who make memory quilts will print your pictures (like of your first date, or first trip to San Francisco) onto white fabric to go along with the fabric patches of clothing. Being able to touch the different textiles will bring back the memories for you, and you can share the memories with family and friends when you show them your quilt, much like you did with your subbies with the video. Hearing your stories and seeing the pix was the best part. We all have memories attached to clothing and collectible things, and for me, the memories attached is the hardest part of purging.
Even if you keep everything, I'm really enjoying seeing all these vintage clothes and pictures from your youth. So fun.
Okay did anyone else die when she said I was trying to impress my bf at the time God Bless 😂bc I found that way too funny
Between that and when she said she was trying to catch a man 😂
I found it way too relatable😂😂... I wore skin tight clothing back when I was a toothpick with barely any cleavage trying to impress my boyfriend. We actually started dating freshman year of high school and just had our 5 year anniversary ❤
"I was trying to catch a mans" Same Bunny. Same. 💖💗😂
Please continue doing this series. I love watching decluttering videos
The dresses should go on mannequins dolls and you can see them in your room 💕💕💕💕
I was thinking along the same lines, except she could display old cloths on mannequins too!
That annoys me how people have so many opinions on how other people live their lives.. do you bunny! You're gonna be 80 thanking yourself for all the mems lol❤
Here's an idea-
COMMIT YOURSELF to going thru 2 tubs a month.
It's not a MOUNTAIN- and you can go at a SNAILS PACE!
You made so much progress. Dont forget your allowed to keep anything you want to. The fact that you shared this is incredible. So many people have this challenge in their lives. Thank you.
You made progress.... you cannot ask for more! Small steps forward is still positive movement! 💜💜
Bunny: Goal is 50 pieces
Me: That’s my whole wardrobe
Saame that’s more than my whole wardrobe lool, don’t get how some people can live like this 😅
And it probably won't even make a dent for her.
😂 😂 😂 😂 Sameee
Mine is WAY MORE than 50 items.
I have less 😂😂
You are so hard on yourself but you are still persevering, so recognize your progress and pay yourself on the back for it. I am proud of you Bunny
Bunny, you are doing so good. Decluttering is hard especially when you have great memories with certain pieces. It's okay to keep things that make you happy. That's the point of the items we choose to surround ourselves with. Don't feel bad for putting those memories in their special place so you can visit whenever you can. Keep it up, Bunny!! Much love 🐊💚
Bunny!! Take the shirts and make a quilt! Then you can be wrapped in those memories 💕
I'm really really proud of you. Getting rid of ANYTHING is an accomplishment. Thank you for all the wonderful stories.
Hey Bunny! Definitely decluttering of stuff you now don’t want to keep anymore is a process that takes time, specially if these are sentimental items so do it at your own pace! Remember even if you feel discouraged at the amount of stuff or feeling like you’re not decluttering “enough” it’s still a step forward! Besides knowing that someone could give it a second life sometimes helps choosing easier, all the best in this process for you ❤️
Take a shot every time bunny says "OHMYGOODDDDD"😂😂
I'm so here for this series. I relate to your struggles with parting with things and watching you do it anyway is so cool.
JUST BECAUSE IT'S OLD DOESNT MEAN IT'S VANTAGE!" Sorry. I had to get that off my chest. Good work, Bunny. Keep going.
honestly this just makes me feel good about myself because i also love to keep things for sentimental reasons... my family calls it hoarding but it's really not ??? i just like holding onto things for the memories, so i totally get where you're coming from about keeping the "memory clothes". and i really don't care how much you get rid of, it's just fascinating seeing all the pieces you've kept over the years and all the things they remind you of!
I think a memory quilt would be good for you, it can even be a wall quilt so you can look at it a lot, like a junk journal but its fabric (OH What if you used some of them to make fabric book covers like the cool t-shirts but now its a cover of a book).
A good way to organize your declutter process might be to go through everything you have, like in this video, but put everything in categories. Like all t-shirts in one pile, shorts in another, wearables, memories. and go through the piles after you have organized them. You may also be able to look at the piles you have created and go, "oh well these two pieces are super similar and I like one better than the other." Overall, its your process, so whatever works best for you in the end. But breaking it up might help it to be less overwhelming.
In my family we have this saying when decluttering "When in doubt, Throw it out." If you are really unsure about something then you have doubts about it, it may just be easier to let it go. 😔
I hope any of this was helpful to you and that you have a good day Bunny!
Hey I'm 53 and I still think about my favorite pink shoes from the 80's wish I still had them! Keep up the good work Bunny 💪💜
Bunny donates clothes so she can thrift it all back later
#me
Danielle don’t we all 🤷🏼♀️
This is a huge step, I am super proud of you! Whatever you can donate is a win. You are very sentimental so anything you can part with is a win. Dont feel bad about keeping things you really care about
Love these series. Take it easy, nobody is rushing you to get rid of stuff... I know sometimes is hard.
The red cardigan with the skulls is the cutest ever!!
old stoner chick right! I wish she would have kept that
Follow the Konmari method. Keep what sparks joy and display what you do keep.
I was going to mention her too! Bunny, you need to take a day and watch Tidying Up With Marie Kondo. Maybe schedule a day soon to watch it. If you want you could even do series with you going through her method or a reaction video with your thoughts in it. It goes over a different way of "decluttering". Her method is more about deciding what to keep based on whether it brings you joy/ sparks joy instead of deciding what to get ride of. Don't get me wrong we're all proud of you for going through your things and donating some! Maybe the KonMari method will better help you. Swamp Fam like of you agree!
I'm pretty sure she can find joy in any clothing item though.
I tried this myself but the thing is the items I wear everyday I like obviously but they don’t exactly spark joy, it’s the old stuff that has memory’s that sparks joy
@@izzym8162 keeping things for practical purposes is fine too. Marie talks about it in her show. I think she said to think about it and make sure you aren't keeping it just because you feel like you should and it will get actual use.
Samantha Jaggers ahh thanks! I should definitely watch her show
Honestly when that lamp fell I almost died laughing. Solid stuff 👌
Racheal London 🤣🙋🏻♀️ Girl same!
Bunny's closet is 100% goals
If Bunny and Dogman ever get married, they are going to have a stylish wedding. Her dress will be fire.
Courtney FF they are married ?
@@testosteronic Only by common law.
Cut the memory shirts and put in a fabric album & you can pin a little description of the memory to it
what a great idea!
it’s so crazy to me that i’ve watched you long enough to see the entire cycle of a clothing item. like i remember you hauling that white unif t-shirt and now you’re donating it. life is crazy man
Bunny you're going through your own process and figuring out what you want to keep. Please don't worry about what people are saying or will say. It's your stuff and you get to do what you want with it.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that hoards clothing for sentimental reasons. Thanks for justifying my insanity, Bunny. 💕😂
Can’t wait for the second part. I definitely am the same way with sentimental items, I have an entire box of items I can’t part with. Like a camp shirt with a bunch of written messages from old friends. 💖
Bunny omg! You’ve done so so well! Don’t let the negative comments get you down! So proud of you
Loved seeing all the photos of you & Dogman. Don’t feel guilty for your collection of memories in clothes - can’t wait for part 3!
You are so brave for being able to do this. I have a bad hoarding problem when it comes to clothes and papers but have yet to find the courage to clean it all and organise. But this has inspired me so much to actually get to sorting my hoarding problem too❤️❤️
For me its paper things ( manuals, letters, cards, random coloured papers, ect.) And art stuff even if I dont use it I dont want to trash it cause it's good but won't ever use it
I rip paper into pieces so it becomes "useless" in my mind so i can throw it. But still have every birthday and xmas card ive ever received in a box. Pretty paper is the worst coz im never going to use it but.... PRETTY, so rip and ah now its rubbish.
That’s exactly my issues, clothes and “important” papers lol. I’m sorting it finally!
Can't wait for part 3,4,5,6 maybe 7,8,9..lol. you have so much stuff, but it's fun going through it all with you !
I ADORE these videos bunny. It's really brought me back into your channel and made me feel close to you again. It's got me excited and I look forward to seeing more!!
I just reorganized and decluttered my bedroom and Its comforting to know I'm not the only one who keeps " memory clothes".
I believe declutterting is a process at least the way i do it, it is 1) the big purge 2) organization with a tinny bit of purge 3) putting it away with a tiny purge i think once everything is in your face and your thinking about what will realistically fit in the designated space and what really matters you will get rid of more and the 3 piles were about even anyways i think you did great good work girl
If something sparks joy and has a place keep it girl.
Marie Kondo anyone? (:
Seeing you go through your stuff has encouraged me to try and go through my storage unit again.
A strategy to get rid of sentimental clothes is to find an old picture of you wearing it (like you splashed in the editing of the video) and create an old lookbook. And then donate the clothes. A photo album takes up less space and still has tons of memories
