Noo, why does the frame cover have to be plastic? For this price could they not have a metal plate? Seemed such a perfect keyboard, ticking many checkboxes...
ok, so i wanna buy the keyboard but on no website can i find any info about the product codes or what to make sure i'm buying the brown switches one. any ideas anyone?
It's also worth noting that Razer doesn't offer a keyboard with Brown-style switches anymore, and Corsair's top end boards have that goody texture on the spacebar and other keys. So this fits right in between Corsair's better switch offerings and Razer's better physical design. A metal top plate would be nice though. That should be standard on a $200+ board.
i bought this keyboard . the (FN+up and down) to control the keyboard backlight brightness is not working , while (FN+left and right) to change the linghtning effect is working . anyone experiencing the same situation ?
I hate keyboards where the bottom of the key cap doesnt meet the keyboard. These and it seems like many others all have them looking like they are just sitting up with massive gaps. Its hard to explain, but its awful to game on
There is no 'best' keyboard since input devices are prone to personal preferences. The closest one can get to a 'best keyboard' is when you build it customized to one's personal preferences.
asus has beat razer with the packaging to say the least....not a flimsy plastic covered by brown cardboard....if you are selling premium priced keebs, we expect premium service....
Great review Alistair 🥰👍🥳 I think these graphic / LCD screens etc are one of the future tech to become standard on higher end keyboards, but like all Asus products bearing this tech currently, you pay a massive premium to have it! I think LCD screens may end up proving more popular going forward in place of this iteration of display thou imo.
That wireless tech is pretty legit. Pity that build wise it's a simple plastic keyboard (metal backplate) with cheap ABS keycaps and standard switches you also get with a Keychron keyboard.

I think a large part of the price comes from the hot swappable switches. Very few gaming keyboards have that as a feature.
I knew a new Flare would pop up a month after I bought mine. :-) It happens all the time.
I encounter that a few times lol. When I bought this I told myself "I think a Flare III with a color dot matrix display is coming soon" lol.
Can they remove the leds and the rgb to cut the price in half? I don’t need extra fps from my keyboard.
Then don't get this model and get one without LEDs...
@@Synthmilk That one only comes with red switches, and isn't hot swappable like this one.
Just ordered this... Surprised the notification area doesn't/can't display CPU or GPU temps. Maybe in the future.
so that keyboard is like the apex pro where you can control your actuation?
I'd recommend Asus to use brushed aluminum instead of plastic for the price of around 220$ :/

How to animate the scope 2?😊
Plastic or Aluminium?

Is the top plate plastic or aluminum ?
Where can I get one?

Omg Alistair, the UK clone of GN Tech Jesus 🥰🎉😜.
I think instead of an anhimated weird thing taking up a ot of real estate, should have had an LED screen or phone dock that works,.
This Keyboard looks super cool
I'm happy with my TUF K3 Keyboard!
The top plate is aluminium I think...
Awesome! 👍

Hey Dave, you happy with it?
Made from 'plastic' and 'leatherette' for all that money? Nope. And that animated thing is pointless and stupid imo

The title made me smile also.

Way too pricey. Are they taking tips from Nvidia?
Apple

Qualcomm
LVMH
How?
Literally every keyboard over USD 20-40 can be called "overpriced".
@@suntzu1409 How what?
They're nuts 250 euro for a keyboard
Answer: No.
So unnecessary and gimmicky yet I still want it.
Best keyboard on the marker right now

Looks ok but not wireless I'll stick to my logitech G915
