Here it is the brand new iPad 10.2-inch 2019! Probably one of the best deals in tech right now! Hit me up on discord if you have any questions. Discord.gg/mattmoniz
Hi, could you tell me how much storage do we get when we buy the 32 GB one? I know that the usable storage is actually less than 32 but I don't know how much exactly
For 329 it is OK priced for the specs. But the total experience (kb, pen) will be $587, or in Europe about €700 with tax. That will buy you quite a decent Windows laptop that is far more productive. Or a nice second hand Macbook. Could also consider the Surface Go. For an additional device, it's alright.
Yuri Grigsby A11 have heat problem, that’s why you didn’t see it in other devices except iPhone 8 and X. But I agreed with you, at least Apple should put A12 In it.
@@petchlnwzaaa no. It would litterally be an opad air if they put in the a12. The air would not be worth 200$ more for a laminated display that people don't need unless they are already used to it being there on their old ipads.
@@sanjedarfin Ik, I said in my comment that it wouldn't be worth it to pay 200$ extra for just a laminated display when most people wont notice an unlaminated display
Do you have any concerns, knowing that a lot of the tech inside this device, is quite old at this point? Personally, it feels like they took their leftover components and threw them together to make a quick buck by calling it The "new" iPad. Thoughts?
Same thought. The ipad mini 5 is the better deal. That has a laminated display and the fast a12 chip. I think spending the extra 70$ on a ipad mini is worth it.
@@twistedoracle1144 That part is awesome and one reason I would pick one up. The main issues I have is touch ID is Gen 1, the processor is from the iPhone 7, the battery and ram are the same as previous models. Granted, it's an iPad and they by default are great. It's just not right to call something new when in reality it's old tech inside a shiny new outside. Of course my concerns are truly first world type problems and really don't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. I was just hoping for more of an updated internals/components bump this year.
It seems u all already have ipads .then can u tell what is the maximum quality in which ipads play RUclips video.....im thinking of getting a ipad 6th gen or i pad air 2019..can any of them play 4k youtube or atleast in 2k

The part about the bezels is .... Pretty true. When I was reviewing mine I actually used it with one hand quite often the bezel helped me. At first when I looked at I wished they just got rid of it but it grows as you use it over and over again.
Who wouldnt want the best stuff on the cheapest ipad. Yall act like cuz cuz its been a year it will magically be cheaper for apple tp add all this stuff
I picked this up when it was released along with the keyboard and pencil. It’s a great experience. I thought about updating however using a stand and apple keyboard and mouse at home just turns it even more into a laptop. I like overall this iPad for its price.
If you are an artist, comics or otherwise, here's a few things to note: 1) Procreate is THE best drawing app. Even more than the best once Procreate 5 drops in NOVEMBER. 2) Because this is only 3GB of ram, you will be limited in the amount of layers you get--depending on size and DPI. Standard comic page at 400DPI - 35 layers. at 600DPI, 8 layers. But if you do only the live area (10' x 15") and not full bleed (11" x 17") You get a few more layers. 3) It does have a little bit of palm rejection issue. 4) The battery does last longer with most things--but when using Procreate, I believe that amount of use time goes down by like 15%? 5) Speakers are on the side by the home button so your hand is going to get in the way sometimes. 6) Multitasking and rearranging apps on the home screen are wonky as hell. 7) If you need a bigger size and maybe a little more power, then the iPad Air is probably better for a little more. 8) If you're mainly drawing/painting with only light video editing (Twitter, Insta, lil bit a YT) and don't have iPad Pro money, then get this one--you don't necessarily need the Pro 9) Doesn't bend. You'd probably need a good amount of intention and pressure to bend it--not like the iPad Pro. But if you get the Pro, GET APPLE CARE+ not regular.
Just got mine for Black Friday for $229 plus tax (basic 32 GB model ..all I need ) Not picky about laminated displays and all that bs .Keep making good videos !
Local Best Buy had them on sale for $250. The website said they had an open box for $220. I called and confirmed. Asked them to hold it for me and I was on my way. I got there and they didn’t have it. They put aside a Pro model by mistake. They ended up selling me a new one for $200 with a free case that was normally $40. I bought this just for international traveling for something to watch movies on at night and on the planes. Very happy with my purchase earlier this week and can’t wake for vacation in two weeks.
Compared side by side the writing experience in this model with the latest iPad Pro 11 inch (in notes and notability apps). I seriously couldn’t feel huge differences. Felt almost good as the iPad Pro for almost half the price. Just my few cents.
I'm an iPad 6 and iPhone 7 owner. I'm actually very glad that apple is putting an a10 in it because it means my devices can possibly sit around for another two to three years at least lol
i used to have an ipad pro 11 inch 2020 just for regular tasks, mostly watching youtube 🙂 until i got robbed. so i’m thinking abt getting a new one but I’m gonna buy this ipad since it saves me tons of money and suits my basic work
I’m upgrading I went from an iPad Air 2 64gb to a sixth generation 32gb got a good deal but memory is to small have just got a good deal on an 7th generation 128gb just looking forward to having more memory
Just bought the 128 GB 7th Gen from Sam's Club for $319. A really great sale! I had the 32 GB for a few weeks but found that the OS took up so much room and looked around for a deal. Great video!
I wish to god they'd go back to those more curved back designs from the iPad 2. The difference between how comfortable they are to hold is like laying down on hard flood and sitting comfortably on a bed. I seriously don't mind the weight I just want something comfortable to hold on to.
On amazon they have the same exact ipad in size and length for 279$ U.S dollars and I'm getting it in fact I already did although it's two days delivery and free shipping.😊
UK/US pricing really messes with the value equation. US: iPad $329; iPad Air $479 ($150 difference, almost 50% more). UK: iPad £349; iPad Air £479 (£130 difference). Especially if you don’t think 32GB is enough the price goes to £449 - only £30 less than the air with 64GB
iPads are some of the few apple products Worth buying . this year's iphones are exceptions though they're surprisingly good and I didn't expect that from apple but still they're behind in some areas
Gacha life Potato yeah its really good I frankly dont use Apple Pencil that much its good but not convenient to use because for using it you have to keep Bluetooth on or it will disconnect and for connecting it you have to plug it in again in the ipad Everything else is great about the ipad
i bought one 2 days ago, my only complaint so far is that if you are trying to play games on it that 32gb of storage space disappears real fast. Its great for media and web browing though, i have no complaints there.
The iPad 10.2 looks sleek like any other iPad. The one thing I like more in this iPad is that it supports apple pencil and smart keyboard. But The matte finish back is slippery while holding the iPad in one hand. For protection and grip, I applied a black grunge skin from gadgetshieldz.
Tbh i’m glad they stayed with the a10 fusion, from my experience, the newer chipsets get really hot and I feel would be most likely to have throttle lag. The a10 is great and will last for many years.
launch entry level ipad for low price, give pencil support costs 99%, then give keyborad support, buy that for 170$, basically apple created the demand, people could buy a decent touch PC for that approx 500$ price....
You shouldn't buy this one. The Air should be the 1st one you think of. 32GB is way too small. So you're going to pay $430. The base Air with 64GB is $470. It has a much better processor that will be supported much longer and a bigger/better screen. Pay the extra $40 it will be worth it in the long run.
I think what apple lacks in their line up is an ipad with perfect screen but not powerful processor. Only downside in this one for me is the screen. I would use tablet for only pdf viewing and note taking. I mean they have already 5 ipads in their line up already so maybe they could update the air's screen to pro level and let the ipad as cheap as possible. Also apple pencil 1st gen's charging method is ridiculous not to mention apple is still releasing tablets with only lightning port.
The aspect ratio is what kills this device for me. Any content you watch has these huge black bars which are very unpleasant on a device which is most useful for media consumption thanks to a larger screen than your phone. Apple should really start adopting the standard 16:9 aspect ratio found on most Android tablets and Windows laptops.
I was so waiting for this because it means a price drop on the 6th gen which I'm planning to buy. It's also the same reason I was waiting for the Note 10 so I could buy the Note 9 on a price drop! Lol
The tablet itself is pretty good value. Problem is that if you want to buy the Apple Pencil and keyboard it doubles the price. If you are spending $600 than an extra $150 for the Air doesn’t sound so bad :)
Nope, it's a dumb idea to call it the best deal, because it has no ideal purpose. He even mentions buying the keyboard and pen in the review to increase functionality, but at that point this thing is faaar more expensive
pro gamer get the one that’s more future proof dude. ipados is becoming more intensive and i honestly feel that an a10 with 2gb of ram won’t give as good of an experience as you can get. if i were you, i’d just get the old ipad pro, or spend a bit more for the air. or if you’re really on a budget, just get the previous gen ipad 6. it’s seriously the same thing but you could probably save $100. anyway that’s just me lol
kimi garcia I have a vid on my channel about the iPad Mini 5. The form factor has really encouraged me to use it a lot more than any other iPad i’ve ever had and I can 100% recommend it.
The keyboard and the pencil were everything Jobs wanted to end. It’s a GUI touch screen, a physical keypad feels so wrong. I can appreciate the pencil as totally necessary for drawing ✍️ as it’s power evolves but it pains me as it did Jobs to see people taking the beautiful design and sheer simplicity of the touch GUI iPad and then adding a physical keyboard so they psychologically convince themselves they are now using a laptop. The whole idea of iPad was to remove these laptop inconveniences. Remember Jobs in the chair leaning back interacting with a digital newspaper with his finger, that was the whole point of IPad and surely still is.
As a student, if the keyboard was priced at $100 and 1st gen Pencil at $65, I'd go for the iPad in a heart beat to annotate notes in OneNote. Too bad Apple screws you hard after your first purchase. It's the same story with Macbook owners. They want you overspending on dongles so you can walk into Starbucks or the library trying to pretend Macbooks are still cool. Until you realize Macbooks haven't been cool since 2015 when you were dongle free and happy. I own a 2016 13 inch Macbook Pro ...great operating system, terrible laptop.
Na it’s not. With 3 years old processor it’s going to start lagging in two years. 330 for two years use time is 165 per year. iPad Pro you will be able to use for at least five years. 900 for five years is 160 per year. It’s cheaper and you will have more fun using it.
Highly doubt it’ll lag, the a10 fusion being the first quad core will more than likely last 4+ years from now, it’s been 3 years and it’s still going amazingly for iPhone 7 which this is very similar too now that this new model of iPad has 3 gigs of ram compared to last years 2. More than likely the battery will start to mess up first before the processor slows down from new software.
This is the iPad I have and I’m watching it on the ipad 7th gen (edit) I was actually watching it on a iPad air 1 bc i thought the black line on the top resembled my iPad so yeah
It's not brand new, and it's not the best deal. I'm not even going to bother watching the video because of the clickbait title. Literally the only change is a slightly bigger screen. There is NO reason to buy this at that price in 2019, when you can get an Air or a refurbished/used iPad Pro for slightly more.
If apple would make an iPad at the same 10.2 display but with the iPad Pro design and first gen Face ID, and even the A11 chipset at $ 449.00 I think that would be selling like hot cakes
Most people buy the Pro and just watch Netflix on it.... This will do 99% of anything you would WANT to do on a tablet. And it's $250 at Best Buy right now...
And you all say the ipod 7 is bad when litteraly Apple does marginal improvements to any of its Apple line up besides the iphone and iPad pros. Honestly, everyone who looks down on the ipod or any Apple product is just power hungry and probably has the latest and greatest iphone or ipad pro that is so future proof with 2x ram/storage/CPU and camera that it really doesn't matter since all games/apps are still made for 2GB base Oh and by the way, the ipod 7 does have improvements over the 2015 ipad mini 4, like 2x max storage, slight higher cpu and same camera. beyond that, I fail to see how it's "obsolete" if literally every Apple line up is inferior to iphones and iPad pros
I got my keyboard for 47.99 on amazon and it’s actually better than this keyboard. The keys are more tactile and they have a LED that you can change with the press of a button to a ton of different colors. I also found a pen with the same specs as the apple pen for 42.99 on amazon. Compare specs closely and shop wisely guys. Merry Christmas
Kicks Solid hey do you have a link for that pencil you bought? in my country an apple pencil is 126$ and it's honestly not worth the money, but i can't find a better alternative:(
Did you say “a computer “? Not quite. An OS alone does not make a device a computer, apps do. And iOS is just not there yet compared to Mac or Windows. It’s close, but not quite. That is unless you’re coming from a Chromebook.
As a student, if the keyboard was priced at $100 and 1st gen Pencil at $65, I'd go for the iPad in a heart beat to annotate notes in OneNote. Too bad Apple screws you hard after your first purchase. With your long-term experience, kindly advise whether the 32GB internal storage is enough for day to day task like browsing, reading, online media consumption, social media usage and note taking....
No, it's not at all. Needs more ram and storage and sd card and usbc. what is it like 2 or 3GB ram and 32GB storage both unupgradeable, ever. Although slower the Samsung Tab 5e is OLED and has better cameras and speakers and sd card (no headphone jack) more ram and storage. Of course ipad has more and better specialized pad apps and a much faster processor, so it sort of balances out. keyboard and pencil is crazy high. $249 extra. LG G8, one plus, rog phone 2, older Huawei P30, Samsung S10+, are all great tech buys, as are chrome tablets, and lower priced windows laptops and 2 in ones.

launch entry level ipad for low price, give pencil support costs 99%, then give keyborad support, buy that for 170$, basically apple created the demand, people could buy a decent touch PC for that approx 500$ price....
Just ordered mine... and the wait begins
“Apple is expensive”
😂😂
Though your are presenting Apple, your backgrounds shows Windows has always been in your heart
I love both sides. I use both platforms. I don't pick camps. I just embrace technology
@@MatthewMoniz nah bro, nothing better than windows
I could never understand the need to buy the cellular version. You can just use personal hotspot.
Awesome content as always!
Karl SMA 100% agree
I think what apple lacks in their line up is an ipad with perfect screen but not powerful processor. Only downside in this one for me is the screen. I would use tablet for only pdf viewing and note taking. I mean they have already 5 ipads in their line up already so maybe they could update the air's screen to pro level and let the ipad as cheap as possible. Also apple pencil 1st gen's charging method is ridiculous not to mention apple is still releasing tablets with only lightning port.
Its the best repackaging deal, not so much for new techs. Besides the screen size and smart connector, everything else is about 3 to 4 years old.
Microsofts Office licence means you have to buy Word, Excel and alike now. Only free until up to 10".
I feel like the tab s6 lite is a better deal because the apple pencil is an extra 100 dollars so yeah
iPad Pro: this Is bad this Is bad
iPad 329$: this Is the best peace of tech
because a lot of people cant affor expensive thing
Nicholas McHill ok, but they should be objective.
Just paid $250.for new I-pad on Amazon!!
its actually $250 now, on Amazon!!!
I was so waiting for this because it means a price drop on the 6th gen which I'm planning to buy.
It's also the same reason I was waiting for the Note 10 so I could buy the Note 9 on a price drop! Lol
Lol
Now I'll buy note 8 soon sometimes
The tablet itself is pretty good value. Problem is that if you want to buy the Apple Pencil and keyboard it doubles the price. If you are spending $600 than an extra $150 for the Air doesn’t sound so bad :)
Definitely the best deal in tech
Nope, it's a dumb idea to call it the best deal, because it has no ideal purpose. He even mentions buying the keyboard and pen in the review to increase functionality, but at that point this thing is faaar more expensive
I totally agree with you about the price of the Smart Keyboard. They should have reduce it.
eBay similar for 50
Chris Sullivan fake, not similar
Getting mine today in 2 hours as a birthday gift
How much useful life does this processor gets? How much time do you think it will get support?
just go for the mini honestly. a12 vs a10 is a no-brainer
I am really confused between this and iPad mini IPad mini have a better processor but this one have a bigger display which is better for gaming
pro gamer get the one that’s more future proof dude. ipados is becoming more intensive and i honestly feel that an a10 with 2gb of ram won’t give as good of an experience as you can get. if i were you, i’d just get the old ipad pro, or spend a bit more for the air. or if you’re really on a budget, just get the previous gen ipad 6. it’s seriously the same thing but you could probably save $100. anyway that’s just me lol
hae chan I have it
But iPad mini I good to hold cause it’s small and comfortable cause it’s not heavy
kimi garcia I have a vid on my channel about the iPad Mini 5. The form factor has really encouraged me to use it a lot more than any other iPad i’ve ever had and I can 100% recommend it.
Don't forget the mouse support which came with ipadOS
I subbed!!!I really loved your videoo!!!Its really helpful
Thank you !! Welcome to the channel : )
In my country it cost €389 euro. Rather buy the iPad air 2019 for that at €530
Buy it online
@@neothemonke5895 I'm talking about online. But it's the same in the store
Django Groen Just bought one for 340€ online.
Meh I disagree the keyboard is a nice touch it allows people to do productivity work and as a package it really becomes a computer for a lot of people
Matthew Moniz I’m not a productive you tube whizz so I’m more your horizontal typist 😊🙏... I’m all about that sweet laid back 🛌 touch screen👍
@@MatthewMoniz I totally agree. I find the smart keyboard very easy to type on. I don't care for the on-screen keyboard for anything but a brief note.
My mom got me the same iPad but it was the golden one it’s going to be arriving on Wednesday or Thursday I think it was only $272 and it was brand new
Good review bro
Interesting way to look at it.
Tankado my iPhone 7 hasn’t lag 🤷🏽♀️
Highly doubt it’ll lag, the a10 fusion being the first quad core will more than likely last 4+ years from now, it’s been 3 years and it’s still going amazingly for iPhone 7 which this is very similar too now that this new model of iPad has 3 gigs of ram compared to last years 2. More than likely the battery will start to mess up first before the processor slows down from new software.
This is the iPad I have and I’m watching it on the ipad 7th gen
(edit) I was actually watching it on a iPad air 1 bc i thought the black line on the top resembled my iPad so yeah
Should I buy the iPad air? Or the 10.2 iPad
@@rw1348 go for the 10.2 there is no big diff between them
i have my 10.2 and its awesome
It's not brand new, and it's not the best deal. I'm not even going to bother watching the video because of the clickbait title.
Literally the only change is a slightly bigger screen. There is NO reason to buy this at that price in 2019, when you can get an Air or a refurbished/used iPad Pro for slightly more.
iPad 6= 2GB of ram
iPad 7=3GB of ram
iPad 7= better speakers, fully recycled.
If apple would make an iPad at the same 10.2 display but with the iPad Pro design and first gen Face ID, and even the A11 chipset at $ 449.00 I think that would be selling like hot cakes
I am getting my boyfriend this for Christmas this year!
Lucky bf!
*_Silently sponsored by Apple_*
Nope
@@oklik1122 yes
Most people buy the Pro and just watch Netflix on it.... This will do 99% of anything you would WANT to do on a tablet. And it's $250 at Best Buy right now...
And you all say the ipod 7 is bad when litteraly Apple does marginal improvements to any of its Apple line up besides the iphone and iPad pros. Honestly, everyone who looks down on the ipod or any Apple product is just power hungry and probably has the latest and greatest iphone or ipad pro that is so future proof with 2x ram/storage/CPU and camera that it really doesn't matter since all games/apps are still made for 2GB base
Oh and by the way, the ipod 7 does have improvements over the 2015 ipad mini 4, like 2x max storage, slight higher cpu and same camera. beyond that, I fail to see how it's "obsolete" if literally every Apple line up is inferior to iphones and iPad pros
Kicks Solid hey do you have a link for that pencil you bought? in my country an apple pencil is 126$ and it's honestly not worth the money, but i can't find a better alternative:(
Camilnx yes I dooooo. Enjoy

Thanks Jayesh!!
Great review bro! 🙂
Did you say “a computer “? Not quite. An OS alone does not make a device a computer, apps do. And iOS is just not there yet compared to Mac or Windows. It’s close, but not quite. That is unless you’re coming from a Chromebook.
Getting this tmw for art thanks for the review
No problem 👍
Don’t buy this, iPad Air is $449 with A12, which will last 1-2 years longer with iOS upgrades.
How about the Tab S5e from Samsung
I think that's a much much better deal
That device only comes with a SD670 cpu, which is garbage. It even struggles to run some recent games like asphalt9 at 30fps.
@@kjczashiba4830 Also, no pen support.
That is shit
I like mine. I’m using it now.
Now $250 on Amazon and Best Buy. Even for me, who doesn't necessarily like Apple products, that's my sweet point 😁.
They could have also at least put a student discount on the smart keyboard.

Thank you very much after watching this video immediately I have buy iPad, I Believe I will be very satisfy .
So how's it?
I’m watching on that iPad, love it but I want A11
With your long-term experience, kindly advise whether the 32GB internal storage is enough for day to day task like browsing, reading, online media consumption, social media usage and note taking....
