That was lovely! One of my goals is to take down a Cyclops with my Keelback, and seeing the ace of AXI do it so smoothly is really good motivation.
Another video, and another technique to add to the arsenal. This time, engaging the swarm, silent running when there isn't time to gain range from the interceptor. Thanks again for these videos. They are very helpful.

That was an incredible video. The command you have over your ship and the efficiency in which you process tasks in the cockpit while under immense pressure, AND still landing your shots so smoothly is... Chilling. I just started playing ED on PC and when I hit that F/A OFF button I'm like Sandra Bullock in that movie Gravity, screen going end over end. Can I ask, I know I'm 2 years late, were you wearing a VR headset while doing that? I noticed the screen seemed to follow where you were looking instead of maintaining a consistent frame.

Good stuff. Looking at the ship build - any reason for not having military grade armour (heavy duty, deep plate)? By my calcs, you could then ditch the class 4 hull reinforcement. You'd effectively have the same speed but more armour HP (and free up a class 5 slot).
I wouldn't dare suggest a shield, but a little extra pip management could go a long way on the keelback for us mere mortals.
yeah my builds are never optimal for these reviews as they are just thrown together from what i have available on the carrier usually :D
On the plus side this does mean that anyone wanting to give it a go will actually be able to get even better performance if they min-max the set up properly ;)

Wow the keel back might just be the worst feeling ship I’ve ever flown so I’m surprised that ur trying to make it an ax ship lol! U did so well!
The Keelback is one of the most versatile ships in the game; it’s effectively a mini Krait. And it cost next to thing for being as flexible and useful as it is. Won’t argue against it not exactly being optimized for Thargoid combat though.
There is nothing the Keelback *can't* do. Except maybe combat, but even then you have an SLF and 2 med+2small hardpoints with a decent PP.
Plus, it makes back its own cost in a hour or two. That's... pretty cool. It supports all forms of mining as well, unlike the Type6 or Type7, and you won't need to spend hours on end at a time, that cargo bay will last half an hour laser mining.
It's criminally underrated.
