Can we all take a moment to appreciate how they tended to end the show by sitting on the roof and contemplating? That always seemed so cool and peaceful.
Makes me wish I had a roof outside the window to sit on.
Reminds me of Doogie Howser and his computer diary at the end of each episode.

This show is absolutely brilliant. Whenever I introduce someone to this show they can't believe it's PG, this is what peak comedy was back than. Also love how it protrays humanity and how we learn about ourselves and the things around us. Harry is my spirit animal but everyone's preformance is great.
At the beginning of the mob episode, they’re supposed to share food but instead they fight over it. I laugh so hard I cry every time. Watching this makes me want to watch the whole thing. There’s at least one moment in every episode that you can’t help but laugh your ass off

What a great show this was. The bit I always remembered was when they were trying to make noise to annoy Mrs Dubcek and did the amazing dance with the dust pan lids. I’ll forgive you for not including it here as you included #9 and #10, which may be one of the funniest things I had forgotten that I’d seen.
Damn... This show was and is something else. Superb casting, John Lithgow is just insane! Great characters and seems like they had so much fun! The comedy never ends... surreal, physical, context wise, gender, popular culture. And believe it or not... I just got one joke - Harry and Sally :)
John Lithgow was unhinged and it worked so well! I loved each actor for their character!
I just finished watching all 6 seasons on DVD (took me a couple of months) and now I feel like I've lost some friends.
Such an underrated show during the late 90s! 1st season came out in 1996. I’m born in ‘92 but I was familiar and watching Roseanne, Golden Girls, Boy Meets World, etc etc but why is it that THIS show never appeared the same way those other popular shows appeared?! I would’ve been obsessed! The dad is my favorite! I only recently started watching it January of 2018 when my ex boyfriend and I were living together and he introduced me to this genius comedy of a tv series. It’s just magical. I wish I knew if it played on Disney+ or some other streaming service where I don’t have to pay for a subscription 😩 I love this show ♥️ I say we protest and have them upload all seasons of this show on Disney+

I usually don't like American comedies - but THIS ONE. Hilarious, so well made, and the characters are all amazing. There's The Marx Brothers, All In The Family, and then came 3rd Rock from the Sun.

I know what you mean, American shows seem to have some good ideas, but don't work them to their full potential, perhaps in fear of offending anyone. British comedies see the potential, work it and tell the offended not to watch if they don't like it.
3rd Rock felt like a British comedy done in the US. I don't know how they got it past the holier than thou brigade, but it showed if they'd just stop trying to be puritanical, they could produce brilliant comedy.
Of course now with the woke "you can't offend anyone except straight white men" attitude in the US entertainment industry, anything of this ilk would be impossible, it would probably get the writers jailed!

I used to agree, but this cast has done some great work since THIRD ROCK! I especially enjoy Joseph Gordon Levitt these days, but I look for them all in New roles.

I was little when this first showed and it was hilarious but never got to see the rest of the seasons
Every episode had a memorable moment, but the one that stands out the most is when Mary thought Dick was Manny Rosenberg, and went to get a "joint" she had found in the freezer, and after trying to light it discovers it's a frozen French fry.

Fave moments “Oh my god… I’m gorgeous!” and back in the beginning when they are trying to figure out what ethnic group they are. Finally at the end of the episode “ahh … we’re Jewish!”

I think that cozi tv needs to put this back on their network and I think they need to get these other two shows on their Network as well. Like Caroline in the city and Becker, not only are both the shows very good but I miss watching them. Oh yeah I think they should also get Dharma and Greg as well.
Having lived in the NYC area my whole life, I can attest "Caroline" was so incredibly bogus, "Becker" was kind of funny. 3rd Rock was the show nobody could compare to anything. Before DVR or streaming, I watched this show every week--- at my Ma's house. We always had a good time.
Incredibly, but all too predictably, we in the backward UK cannot buy the complete series of this wonderful show on DVD.
