One of the greatest and most brilliant shows ever made. Human society, culture, and existence through the eyes of aliens who themselves are striving to be human. It was perfection. And Don and Sally are the greatest, most endearing TV couple and romance ever.
Aahhhh!!!!! Back when the TV deserved a fancy wooden cabinet and a prominent position in the family room arraingement of furniture. So much better than the shallow shows today that earn their shallow screen tvs that slide out of site when not in use.
They had him try to play the part with his eyes open during the audition but he said it was very weird and felt all wrong lol. You can see French talk about it in my video ---> The French Stewart Interview. ;)
That's Anna Chlumsky. Kristen would have needed to be a time traveller or have a supply of the best youth beauty products to play a teenage girl back then as she's 13 years older than Anna.
I just rediscovered this show as an adult and the over dramatic-ness is what really shines. Its just so over the top and cartoonish. A good example of overacting for comedic purpose.
Pure silliness and poignant observations of how odd we earthlings can be. Perfect cast matched with outstanding writing!
So true..

This is one of the best comedies, as well as one of the darkest if you really think about it.

One of the funniest shows ever!😊
Such an *unusual concept* for a sit-com ! at least the acting is Acting ! It is similar to Theatre : today's day & age has horrendous television !
I LOOOOOOVE John Lithgow 😂😂
Sally made the show!
This show was so unhinged. What a classic.

Couldn't have said it better myself.. ")
It truly is a special show. And so funny. I will love it forever.
Why does the thumbnail look ai generated?!
Wayne Knight is the luckiest actor in the planet . . . next to Peter North.
American studio audiences, braying and whooping over soundtracks since TV began.
