- In this video i show how to use duplicolor wheel paint to achieve a nice finish on your wheels for CHEAP. This method only used 1.5 cans of color per 2 wheels and half a can of primer and clear coat.

I am a van gogh of the spray can and this is some of the best spray paint I ever used it's great on engine blocks and on rims

I think it would be cool to paint the calipers the same shade of purple as the bumpers plug things. Would be a nice contrast behind the gold wheels as well

Looks good. I will look into what colors they have. I might paint just the inside of my blazer wheels... They are peeling real bad. Maybe a dark charcoal grey... I didn't know thwy made wheel paint.
Gonna try this on my spare set of GSR mesh Integra rims. Gotta work up the courage to attempt this on my Enkei RSV's

Duplicolor nozzles are the greatest. With 1 coat primer and base, if you get a bad tire guy, that paint is toast...

Was the base coat u use was the gloss one ? Does it really matter if you use flat or gloss on this procees? Reason i ask coz theres one on this duplicolor on black which are matt , semi gloss, gloss.

I dont know if you tough about it but you easily buy in cars trougth Craigslist for cheap ,fix them and sell them one at a Time stick to hondas only they sell fast.

Those wheels turned out great.I painted the wheels on one of my cars (2005 Ford Five Hundred), first rose gold for a while, then light blue (the car is greay), for masking off my air stems I used big straws.

I'm doing vht spray paint, how should I apply clear coat when the paint is completely dry? Should I apply more paint to let the clear have something to tack too?

I have a question!! When spray painting a vehicle that has a dark color paint job and turning it into a light color, would it be better to paint the entire thing white first to make the colors brighter or is that unnecessary??

3 or 4 coats of paint . Every 10 /15 mmts each coat ..

I painted my rims dupli-colour chrome, I used Rust-Oleum 2x clear coat gloss and holy crap after I put that on it came out weird grey matte colour 😩
I read clear makes them darker. I'm leaving it off
Would you anyone say this is more yellow gold than any other aerosol spray brands? After that liquid gold look. Only a Rusto metalic gold is in my collection.

Bro!! Check out my rim paint video! I use x2 coverage paint and the look good. I did it a while ago and they still look powder coated.
How long after painting wheels can you drive on the road?
BLUEFEATHEREDOLIVES As long as you avoid dirt roads you should be good after about 30 mins to an hour. But most would recommend longer but I’m not much on rules lol
