Yesterday (Friday) we were supposed to head for Koh Samui, Thailand. That became the second Long-haul we have had to cancel withing the past few months! Hope all is well on your end. In Denmark and in many other countries it does seem like things are slowly moving back in the right direction! Denmark has been getting some press here in New Zealand due to the way our countries have handled the Covid pandemic. Also have a few Danish folk that have made NZ their home too. When the boarders reopen we would love to see you down under one day, only another 9 hours from Asia :) and can experience some kiwi hospitality and do some sightseeing. Also only a 3 hour trip across the Tasman sea and you're in Australia

Good morning Jonathan! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. In answer to your question, we were actually supposed to leave for Koh Samui, Thailand today! We cannot believe that we are not going it is like an unbelievable bad dream we are all go through at the moment. Next trip is booked for December, we also cancelled April´s trip to Malaysia already so let´s hope we have more luck in December. Lovely review and your lounges are lovely for food and drinks before flying . We enjoy a lounge and my work always pays for myself and mags as a treat every holiday . Last lounge was awful lol so hope next time it’s better . Thanks for all the effort and it is appreciated 👍
Glad you enjoyed the video even if it is only a Short-haul flight. These paid access airport lounges are really good value for money and we always try to visit them when we get a chance (if the price is right). The one at Heathrow Terminal 5 was incredibly expensive so we gave that a miss because we were not there for enough ours to justify the price. Some Lounges are good and some not so good. Always ask to go in and have a look at the snacks spread, seating space and drinks on offer before deciding whether or not to use a Paid Access Lounge! Hi lovely people , finally got myself around to watching your TR.I think the 199 Krone option for the lounge per person is terrific value! i enjoyed the inflight and the water taste test lol,it seemed to me to be a no frills type service , would I be right there or is it normally full service on SAS.Thankyou again folks and I have to say the time is now 20.05 on my trusty Seiko and I will be toddling off to bed soon after a big day.I look forward to another entertaining trip vid in the near future and I do hope you get back to Asia real soon.All the best to you both from Dave
Good morning Dave, nice that you had a chance to watch it! The 199 kroner price of the Lounge is good value for money and we do it whenever possible nowadays as it is a nice way to start a trip. SAS has become a no frills airline, there are various economy class options which do offer some form of snack as far as we remember. We are personally not big fans of SAS on Short-haul flights as they offer so little comparing to similar airlines in their own Star Alliance. For Example Lufthansa on a similar route, probably the same price, will offer a snack and an alcoholic beverage, which airline does one choose? There is nothing like a Trusty Pulsar or maybe a Trusty Seiko, HeHe! :-D We are both optimists but do not see ourselves getting back to Asia this year, but never say never... we are booked for a different continent in December ;-) Take care and have a good day!
