Carrying steel sharp anchor and sharp stone in cheap boat from Walmart, very clever!😂 You are crazy man, I like that! You are very brave, in the middle of big lake, carrying sharp things that could pop your boat and that outboard!!! There are fiberglass boats that is not recommended to put 25hp outboard on them. You are insane, in your place there I maybe would pass out from fear, I like how calm you speak there! Never seen such experiment on intex boat. Hats off!!! Good luck and take care of yourself!
You could get an extension of the control and move to the middle maybe. Awesomw to show but you are correct, its too much power. I am working around a 3-4hp 30-40lb engine. Could you share a video of how you did the floor and the mount.
Respect!!+.... 25 hp???. Niiiice!!!! Your motor mount/ floor design is really strong... Im thinking about using it for my ex5 this spring... I'll only be using 2- 50 lb trolling motors so the power will be ok.. however, in AZ , we get big wakes that can cause trouble for us raft guys..the stability and strength is outstanding!
Add more heavy rocks to the front of the boat so it doesn't tilt up and drown the motor since you don't have an extra person, or add some heavy deadlifting weights, 45lbs
I trade the boat long time ago, found guy who gived me 15ft fiberglass for my modified excursion, he liked my boat how I made it to support heavy motor and he wanted the boat to put big motor on it to get attention at lakes 😂😂
How’d you build that transom?! I have a 1.5hp motor that needs more stabilization than the traditional one provides, even with extension poles. But I can’t weld!
Unfortunately you have to weld :(. I showed how transom is made. Screwed to the wood floor and the transom is made of steel water pipes, I cut them almost, left some sturdy parts of pipes uncut to be stronger, bend them in direction I wanted for the transom, and then welded them, and then I made holes on the pipes to screw the wooden planks and in between these wooden planks, I put steel plank to amplification for wood so the transom would be stronger. And then on these pipes I put paint against rust, and on wooden planks put wood varnish. I also painted steel plank against rust. I even put wood varnish on whole floor, remember wood varnish is mandatory, because if you don't put varnish, wood with contact with water starts to rot, and varnish protect it. So pretty much that's it. And for the welding part, I would recommend you to find man who can weld and pay him, you just think about the construction of your transom and so :)
@@viktorkoruev5670 awesome, thx. I already have a varnished wood floor. But your transom design looks great. I’m gonna need to find someone who can make me one.
If you read the instructions it states that it definitely can handle the weight as it can handle 1200lbs of weight and also as you clearly stated on your video it says to not exceed 1.5hp…. Could have saved you a lot of time lol but great job! The excursion 5 is a fantastic cheap boat and very customizable but within certain limits, with a 30/40lb thrust trolling motor you’re pretty set don’t need anything beyond that.
Sarah , because it is a GAS powered motor and it is a MANUAL pull start it would not require a battery. However it would require a gas tank. 5 gallon tank would be about 35 pounds.
Tried it, without results the boat still couldn't get high speed and the bow was up, but nevermind, I trade my project for 15ft fiberglass :D, put my excursion 5 project for sale and one guy asked me for trade, he saw my interesting excursion 5 which can hold very big engine, the guy liked my boat and decided to take it to get attention on water and to own excursion 5 on which you can put big engine, he told he was going to put his 20hp on the boat :D he didn't cared about speed, just wanted to get people's attention. I hope he still uses the boat and I like that 15ft fiberglass, I put this 1980 25hp on it and got 23mph.
Thanks for the advice, if I got time I would try to make longer tiller, by the way very good job. You did pretty good modification from your intex boat too. I don't understand how some people dump these boats. Yes they are not very durable but if you do little improvements they could turn to good boats to use.

Viktor, stay safe!!!
Don’t over inflate either! The seams are very weak! I love your feel for adventure!
That is awesome! I always tell people these Excursions are tough and you just proved it.

youre pretty crazy...awesome. motor probably costs more than the boat. fantastic. 😂🍻
Very nice we are going to build a similar floor for our inflatable. Thanks
muy buen trabajo felicitaciones, el espejo lo hubieras hecho mas alto para q el motor no quedara en el agua
Man looks great
Hello my friend!!! Thanks for this video! You help me! Now i have a good idea!!!
Thanks Viktor
Impressive wow!

I have a 68Ibs 12v Bison Trolling motor and its fine with motor mount extensions.
@@markweatherall7437how did you extend yours
awesome I have a little 3.5hp I user when I go to the river and stuff
awesome!!!
Plz show anoitecer vídeo with 3 people.
I trade the boat long time ago mate sorry, I guess we will never find out what this boat needed to get speed 😂
How heavy is the battery? Do you have the link for the battery? Thanks

Try lifting fins on the outboard, get on plane faster and keeps the bow down

I have seahawk 2 n excersion 4 i will do some mods to run 5 hp outboard motor with strong motor mount n wood floor 👍 safe boating all 😃
Muchas gracias, no sirve el invento es demaciado peligroso
If you make your tiller longer you should be able to exceed to much higher speeds this video might help ruclips.net/video/3EUluP806o8/видео.html
