1. Use 1/4 or 3/8" plywood instead of OSB, OSB will flake apart when exposed to water, even when waterproofed. OSB is also much heavier than 1/4" or 3/8" plywood. 2. For easier transport, you can cut the wood flooring into 3 pieces, rather than 1 large board. 3. Always install the floor boards before fully inflating the Excursion, inflate about 2/3rds full and wedge the flooring into the raft.
My two year old sits and watches your videos with me!😂🤷🏽♀️ She likes you and she said tell your daughters hello! Thank you sooo much for including measurements!🙌🏽
Thanks for watching and Hi to your little one😊
Cool boat with very nice inflatable floor on which you can easily stand.
Why do so many people need wooden floor ?
To make boat heavier , harder to transport ?
To have less space in the boot if your car ?
Very informative! Thanks a lot!
Bravo, perfect work ! 🤗
what size and diameter etc are the extended pipes? and where to get them also are they not secured in it?
Awesome job so it’s an 8 foot board and across 35 inches , top 34 I Inches.
Correct
Thanks. Yes correct
Great job man!
Thanks
The holes you drilled for the zip ties don't have waterproofing in them. This will still rot.
Maybe drilling the holes before adding two coats of water sealant might help. I am doing mine tomorrow.
Thanks for the video, are you able to put the floor on SUV roof rack and drive on the highway?
Thanks for watching. Yes I did put it on the roof but I have not drive on highway.
Thank you for this good information 🙏
Thank you for watching😊

Quá tuyệt vời bạn ơi!
Great video! Love the family too!
Great video!!!! I think I will do 2 parts.
Hey buddy. I've just ordered this exact model can you post the exact dimensions you cut the plywood and what type you used?
Thanks for watching, I used plywood(any plywood would work but make sure you stain it) as for dimensions it’s 8ft long and for the side 36” wide narrow down to 34” to the front. Hope it helps.
Very cool! I want to put something together like this using an Excursion 5 as the base as well.
I read the Intex mount can handle up to around a 3hp engine but I wanted to run a 6hp outboard so I was considering reinforcing the floor at the back (extra to the already fitted hardboard floor as you've done here which if you don't mind I'm going to shamelessly copy!) and welding up a mount to bolt to the reinforced section.
Then I'd use the intex mount in conjunction with the home made mount to spread the load and stresses out more evenly.
I've even considered fitting a central rib of wood under the floor in the centre with curved ends and pipe lagging padding to add a little bit of a 'V' to the underside to help manoeuvring... I am worried that might stress the inflatable boat floor though! I guess some expanding foam carved to shape to fill the gap a little might help though!
Thanks I’m not mine. Enjoy and have a great time😊

I hope to for sure! You too! 😊
Good job where did you get the csrpet
