Hey am working on my board...I have it in three peices as I am unable to carry the single peice in my car. Great idea on using two sided take to secure the outdoor carpet. Beats getting adhesive all over rhe wood. Awesome setup and good idea for securing the battery in the front. I will do the same. Was thinking of a diy motor mount to try and get a 6-8hp motor on it. ( pretty ambitious huh?) Looking for ideas.
Honestly, not necessarily. The bolts are from bottom up so, the portion on the bottom of the board is the rounded top of the bolt head(s). I did that intentionally in order to not puncture the raft floor.
Nice setup. I also made mod to a excursion 5 boat. I made bench at back, custom motor mount and hard floor. Put 25hp on it and unfortunately such big outboard was pointless on my excursion 5, without weight in front I couldn't go with more than 2 mph and thrust from engine always raises bow, but it seemed Cool atleast.
Thanks! Yeah, I wish... I just have the trolling motor - 46lb thrust using the using the extended 1/2" conduit pipes like others have suggested. It serves the purpose.
You've done nice work here however Intex are a manufacturer of pool toys and that includes their boats. Motoring at any more than 2 to 3 knots is fanciful, and even if possible with 0 degree dead rise would likely be catastrophic. If you plan on taking it more than 20 metres off the beach please make sure everyone is wearing a lifejacket.
Looks awesome! I ordered one today. I'm going to do pretty much what you did. Love it!
Hope you enjoy it!
Looks good. I'm working on one now.
Nice... drop a post so I can see how it turns out.
Love the idea of putting the battery up front. Looks great, even with the Raiders logo 😂. Seriously though. Top notch work sir!
Thank you!

Go for it. Not sure if it will work without creating an imbalance but, I understand the desire to go faster than what a trolling motor can provide.
nice modifications
I love this. Simple layout. Are you protecting the floor of the raft from the bolts somehow so it doesn't get punctured?

Looks awesome. Just ordered one myself.
Yes Sir.... Thanks! Have fun with it.

Nice setup!!! Instead of Raiders it should have a Dallas Cowboys logo!!!
Lol... not mad at that. Would likely need either blue or the light shade of gray carpet though. Glad you like it.
Tuyệt vời lắm bạn ơi!
