What material are the boards? Just bought a intex excursion 4 with the mount and trolling motor, I highly recommend you buy one when you get a chance. Board material please?
This plywood was bought on Facebook market place it had holes on it but still very durable. I don't recommend it because its so heavy! But I always use what I have laying around. So I went with it
I'm currently replacing the derailleur with a new one! Its handling pretty well! And by time I will continue to upgrade it! I ofcourse want to take out the hyper onto new trails and I'll make plenty of videos on that!
Great video Alex brother. You give me an idea of not only the boards but the anchor too. I forgot about the anchor to prevent it drifting away lol Thank you.
Great video! Two questions: What did you use as an anchor? Any trouble getting back on the boat while in the water? Feel like if too much water gets on the boat it will sink.
I used a 30lb anchor which held the raft perfectly in place, you can easily find one in craigslist or Facebook marketplace There was not any trouble getting back on the raft, all that is needed is some good upper strength and you'll be good, and i will recommend going with a friend if your going in the water. Water did end up going into the raft, it showed no signs of ever sinking. Very stable raft.
How the hell an inflatable boat with intact air chambers should ever sink? Even if you fill the boat with water, it's still air inside the chambers that are lighter than the water around.

Livin his best life. That looks like good day to me. Just bought my excursion 5 on Amazon today.
You won't regret it man. Great purchase. IM Still using it this summer!
@@AlexDelMTB how did the floor hold up? Did you do any other mods too it?
I'm still currently using these modification. But without the seats and without the trolling motor.

The floor has hold up strong. But some of the staples have fallen in storage, so my idea was to wrap the remaining staples with heavy duty duct tape
Great video man
Edit: You're underrated
Thank you so much bro!🔥🤙
was it stable around the seams of the sections? I was thinking of adding hinges for more stability. Do you think it's necessary?
It was actually pretty stable, adding hinges will increase its stability for sure!
@@AlexDelMTB thanks for the input man.
I like your mods on the floor and think the same would work for me. Thanks for the ingenuity !
Thank you for the wonderful idea and the how to iron sharpens iron brother 💯
What size plywood, Thickness?
Look how steady that looks. Definitely a big improvement to the boat.
You easily stand up when reeling in a big one🎣.. I've done a few times
Hey bro.do you happen to have the measurements for the floor boards?
You get those measurements lmk
How did you get back into the boat?
Upper body strength. I suggest going with someone if you're getting in
Have you experienced any leaks? How long have you been using this boat? Looks durable
I've had this boat for over 2 years! Always taking it out in my local ponds, it hasn't had any leaves yet, its very durable!
Great idea!
what a great video I love it and its been super helpful I have the excursion 5 so im gonna do the same thing, thanks man.
Appreciate it man!
No more hyper hydroform videos?? Was wondering how it was handling.. Or if u plan on updating any parts?

Appreciate it man, im glad it helped!
Hey what anchor is that?
is it easy to jump in and out of water from this boat?
If you have the upper body strength to pull yourself, you got this! Can be hard for many people, it was fairly easy for me
Awesome video bro, And you should tell us how to get that 2 pretty girls 😄
What board did you use?
I used some plywood laying around. It was really heavy though (but free)... I recommended buying the lightes/durable plywood
I’m so late on this but great video 😊😁👌

@@AlexDelMTB so did this floor mod hold up? Guess I’m gonna finally put one in mine ~
