Glad the cops okay, but even I know you don’t pit at the B pillar.

This isn’t the first time I’ve wondered: are these SUVs really the best choice for the new standard police cruiser? They come with a rollover warning because of their high center of gravity, and look what happened when this officer tried a PIT maneuver with one.

That was intense that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a rollover of that type

Good comment Edmond. As a retired Ford mechanic and owner of a Crown Vic Police interceptor I agree with you. I have driven more Police cars over my 35 year career than I can remember. The Explorers have a Much higher center of gravity and aren't as stable as compared tho the Crown Vic. Having pushed both vehicles to the limits of tire adhesion the Crown Vic is my choice hands down. Eric S

It’s so weird seeing the streets I am on every day in this video bc I can’t find a lot of stuff from Wisconsin on the internet. Also I hope that officer that was in the rollover accident is okay

That was in Wisconsin! I live there! Man, the cop that rolled over for the BMW thought it was NFS: Most Wanted. I hope he is doing fine. (The 5-0)

He PITted wrong, but I’ve noticed this only happens to chargers and explorers. But never happens to crown vics. Wide, long, body on frame vehicles are the best for PITting.

Some people crank up their stereo so loud you couldn’t hear a jet plane fly by.
