I made this with the green dappled yarn and it came out so nice!! My stitches were a little tight in the end but the end result was still nice. I went ahead and single crocheted all the way around to clean up the edges. Thank you!
I think you should show a finished project of the patterns that you decide to do. This looks like a beautiful pattern but I don't know if that yarn is too thick but it doesn't look nice to me. Maybe a finish project of the pattern you're teaching us will give us a clear idea of what to expect once we are done. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for the video! I had tried this pattern some months ago and abandoned it because of multiple failures, and not knowing what I was doing wrong. The video very clearly shows where to put the hook when starting row 2 and how to work Dcbp5tog (that is, the previous row's decrease counts as the third stitch of the sequence of 5). After finding and watching the video, I successfully made a test swatch. Now I'm ready to try it with blanket yarn.
This Pattern Def. Needs some explaining :) I have some Bernat (9) skeins of the 10 300, Thinking of doing this pattern as opposed to one from someone else. Thank you Mike ;)
Leave this question with me. I will follow up tomorrow. i currently filming. The pattern is linked in the video description if you need an immediate answer. I'm sorry, I'm on my phone in the studio and quickly checking messaging. I have put this on my to do list tomorrow.
Just a question if it's a new yarn and very limited to certain areas why even show it? Because it's gone! Will it come back at some point more wisely available?
I questioned that as well. I love the pattern as I know Bernat Blanket will be on the market for years to come. This is currently available at select JOANN locations. Consumers were not interested in this yarn and was discontinued a few months into the launch of it.
In order to work out how wide I need it, working in multiples of 20.... if I do a chain and fold it in half would that give me a rough idea if I have the right width before I start row 1?
@@nancylollopez4032 Thank you. I understood the chains needed to widen the pattern. However I always struggle with width when working chevron or wave patterns and was more trying to figure out how you work out width when the chain moves up and down.
@@yvonneparsons713 I understand now. You could do a sample. 1 set of 20 +23 and do row 1. Measure your sample and go from there. I wanna guess Mikey said 9 inches for the sample he did, but it could of been another video. So don't quote me on that. Lol
Why don’t u show us Twice instead of once how to do this pattern u are the only one that does it this way by the time u explain it to us you could of showed us

Sorry, I never could follow charts. Made absolutely no sense to me. But I can watch your tutorials all day long and learn so much. Love them all

Your stitches look amazing.

Love this blanket very easy to understand
I enjoy all your videos, because you explain things so clearly. This is another great pattern.
Thank you! for consistently sharing easy-to-follow tutorial. 🙂
Love the pattern and love that yarn!
I love this pattern!
Very cute; thank you...🤗
Beautiful 🌹😍
what if we want to change colors like the picture shows...to do an ombre type effect...would this allow for that?
Beautiful
Nice 💕😍🙏
Like do I finish off 2 or 3
Pattern states the following:
Rep 2nd and 3rd rows until work measures approx 42" [106.5 cm] from beg. Fasten off.
Means 3rd row is last.
I find d the captions are right across the pattern blocking what.you are doing. It.is very annoying. Could something be done to change it?
You can drag and move the captions to the top of the screen yourself.

Could this be made large to be an adult throw blanket?
He goes over the multiple counts around the minute marker 1:10 so you can adjust it to the size you wish to make
Thank you!
What row do I stop at

That's fine. I don't think it was told in the Video. I looked in the pattern and if I over read it I didn't see it either. 🙃

Meaning, this is simply Bernat Blanket but the Dappled is a spin-off brand that didn't fly.
I never even saw it in my area and the purple you showed in the video is gorgeous!!!
I do want to thank you doe all you do for this industry in showing us patterns and teaching.

Just chain in multiples of 20, till you get the width you want, and then add 23 more chains to keep it in balance.

Does anyone else feel this is like a carpet instead of a blanket?? Hoping once it’s washed and blocked it will be more pliable
You can always change the yarn to something thinner if it's too thick for you.
@@TheCrochetCrowd I was thinking about going up i size hook. But half way done already. Ugh. I check gauge before but ending up maybe 34” wide.
Oh no. That's a pickle.

Imo this wasn’t explained well, and I’m by no means a beginner.
