    I made this with the green dappled yarn and it came out so nice!! My stitches were a little tight in the end but the end result was still nice. I went ahead and single crocheted all the way around to clean up the edges. Thank you!

    Sorry, I never could follow charts. Made absolutely no sense to me. But I can watch your tutorials all day long and learn so much. Love them all

    I think you should show a finished project of the patterns that you decide to do. This looks like a beautiful pattern but I don't know if that yarn is too thick but it doesn't look nice to me. Maybe a finish project of the pattern you're teaching us will give us a clear idea of what to expect once we are done. Thank you so much!

    Thank you so much for the video! I had tried this pattern some months ago and abandoned it because of multiple failures, and not knowing what I was doing wrong. The video very clearly shows where to put the hook when starting row 2 and how to work Dcbp5tog (that is, the previous row's decrease counts as the third stitch of the sequence of 5). After finding and watching the video, I successfully made a test swatch. Now I'm ready to try it with blanket yarn.

      Pattern states the following:
      Rep 2nd and 3rd rows until work measures approx 42" [106.5 cm] from beg. Fasten off.
      Means 3rd row is last.

    I find d the captions are right across the pattern blocking what.you are doing. It.is very annoying. Could something be done to change it?

    • @mkapadia917
      @mkapadia917 2 года назад +1

      You can drag and move the captions to the top of the screen yourself.

      He goes over the multiple counts around the minute marker 1:10 so you can adjust it to the size you wish to make

      Leave this question with me. I will follow up tomorrow. i currently filming. The pattern is linked in the video description if you need an immediate answer. I'm sorry, I'm on my phone in the studio and quickly checking messaging. I have put this on my to do list tomorrow.

      That's fine. I don't think it was told in the Video. I looked in the pattern and if I over read it I didn't see it either. 🙃

    Just a question if it's a new yarn and very limited to certain areas why even show it? Because it's gone! Will it come back at some point more wisely available?

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  5 лет назад

      I questioned that as well. I love the pattern as I know Bernat Blanket will be on the market for years to come. This is currently available at select JOANN locations. Consumers were not interested in this yarn and was discontinued a few months into the launch of it.

    • @TheCrochetCrowd

      Meaning, this is simply Bernat Blanket but the Dappled is a spin-off brand that didn't fly.

    In order to work out how wide I need it, working in multiples of 20.... if I do a chain and fold it in half would that give me a rough idea if I have the right width before I start row 1?

    • @nancylollopez4032
      @nancylollopez4032 5 лет назад +1

      Just chain in multiples of 20, till you get the width you want, and then add 23 more chains to keep it in balance.

    • @yvonneparsons713
      @yvonneparsons713 5 лет назад

      @@nancylollopez4032 Thank you. I understood the chains needed to widen the pattern. However I always struggle with width when working chevron or wave patterns and was more trying to figure out how you work out width when the chain moves up and down.

    • @nancylollopez4032
      @nancylollopez4032 5 лет назад

      @@yvonneparsons713 I understand now. You could do a sample. 1 set of 20 +23 and do row 1. Measure your sample and go from there. I wanna guess Mikey said 9 inches for the sample he did, but it could of been another video. So don't quote me on that. Lol

    Does anyone else feel this is like a carpet instead of a blanket?? Hoping once it’s washed and blocked it will be more pliable

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  3 года назад +2

      You can always change the yarn to something thinner if it's too thick for you.
