I’m having a hard time figuring out how the drawing gets to the plotter and if my iPad Pro 2018 will work? I’m just barely learning about all this so anything helps, thanks!
I haven't heard of anyone using a Plotter from an iPad, but I guess it might be possible. It connects to a computer via USB. Ask the folks at EMSL: www.evilmadscientist.com/contact/

You'll need the "hatch fill" inkscape plugin, which does the job nicely.
How much time it's take to complete A4 size paper notes
Can it mimic my handwriting ? Can i make something in paint or any other program and have it come out looking handmade, as long as i use lines ?
You can mimic handwriting to some extent, yes. You can also draw things in a vector graphics programme (paint is raster, not vector) and then plot it. It's a lot of fun!

Can you use this machine for cutting normal papers by using a cutter instead of a pen?
You should use a cutter plotter instead, like Sihlouette Cameo or Mint. Pen plotters, like the AxiDraw, are not meant for that.
i'm thinking of getting one, what software is it compartable with??
Most people use it through Inkscape, you can also control it from the command line.
I heard that servo needs to be replaced time to time. Is it possible without cutting these plastic bends?
We've not needed to replace our servo in more than a year of plotting, but my understanding is that it's a simple process. New servo motors come with additional cable ties.
@@Plottervision thanks. I asked this because I'm planning to plot among all other things big complex plots requiring DAYS, so in my case servo will break sooner I guess

Does this work for robot-writing postcards from a CSV file to make it look like real human writing?
Yeah, there's some software available from the manufacturers on request that can handle those kinds of tasks: wiki.evilmadscientist.com/AxiDraw_Merge
What language (e.g., hpgl, hpgl/2) does plotter understand?
It can take SVGs through Inkscape.
What do I use this machine for?
I use my HPGL/2 plotters for 1-pc. garment patterns. PlotterVision states their plotters us a different language-SVG (Inkscape).

Why is this Axidraw even more expensive than a 3d printer? $550?? Not worth it. You can build one or just buy an ender 3 3d printer and add a pen. Lol.
