Chillplot - Circle Noise on the Axidraw V3/A3 Pen Plotter

Circle Noise, created with a tool by Components.ai (components.ai/.... Drawn with an Axidraw V3/A3 pen plotter on 170ggm art paper using a teal Muji gel ink ballpoint.

Just wondering whats your limiting factor, how fast the pen can draw ink or is it more hardwre related? Just wondering because i love macking fast machines, and seeing yours now i just want to make one just to see how fast i can make it go xD

I don't know for sure, but I suspect that the hardware is the limiting factor. I've seen older plotters that work WAY faster than the Axidraw!

gonna give it a try, im sure that with 24v and a 32bits board it should have more than enough power to push those steppers really fast.
I was originally gonna use a 5w laser for marking the lines but im gonna try with pens first.

How did you export your image from the Components website?

I don't recall, actually! You can definitely use browser tools in Firefox or Chrome to access the SVG code, though, and then just paste it into a file.
