I die every time
Seeing both 'satay' and 'Marion' in the title at the same time reminds me of something...... Like from that popular tv show long ago, maybe 🤭
Aahahaa!
I love your recipes
Thank you so much 😊
ooo my fave. prolly my first ever love even way ahead of pad thai
'Pad', rhyming with 'Dad', right?? Lol...
epic as usual Marion
LOVE thai food
I'll have to sub in sesame paste and crushed sesame (darned peanut allergy), but I'm raring to give this a go!
Peanut allergy here too. Let us know how a subbed version turns out!
I’ve usually use sunflower seed butter when subbing peanut butter. I hope the sesame paste substitute was really good.
My mouth watering,
They look yummy.
Hi! Congrats in the million subscribers!!!
Thank you so much 😀
Omg thank you🖤
Hi Marion. Can I also use the ingredients used in the beef marinade in making chicken satay as well?
Happy Mid-autumn Day
yummmy
YUUUUUUUUUUMMMMM!!
I need to make this...
Looks so good mmmmmm
Might try that sauce on noodles.
Huge improvement over the Satay that unfortunately got Marion booted from Masterchef Australia when she was arguably the front runner for winning Masterchef. I think she would have, even back then in 2010, she was an awesome cook.
Video in feed says Marion, I click.
Yum
Am waiting your party for 1M subscription 💐💐💐💐 congrats 🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺🌺
My family is from Jakarta, Indonesia and we’ve always used peanut butter. I’ve never seen it with coconut milk and fish sauce. Our meat marinade is different as well. Can you grill the beef, or is pan frying better?
thai red curry paste is hard to find in my region. any substitutes? x
YUMMO
Top!
I can never make my beef says tender soft. What's the secret ? I remembered eating them back home super soft and it melts in your mouth. Yes, I bought the best meat .
Maybe I should try again 🤗
Thanks for the video . I will definitely try your style. ❤️
What brand of coconut milk do you use? It was so creamy!
Mam, a humble request .
Can you make one dish using mutton?
Example BBQ
I love to eat mutton
I think she made a dish with lamb, let me search lol
ruclips.net/video/0QR-Mp3ccxM/видео.html it includes her meal kits, but you can find how to make pieces from her meal kits on her channel too

@@arvindnaidu1109 you're welcome, years of watching her channel had paid off maybe? Haha

😁👌😁👌😁
Gonna try this out with tofu later this looks so good!!
Do you ever cook Laab? (Larb)
This definitely looks mouth watering. My kid has peanut allergy. Instead of peanuts, what other nut could I substitute with?
I’ve used sunbutter and cashew butter in replacement of peanuts and it turned out great! I also added a squeeze of lime to cut the richness of the sauce a little.
Almond butter works too.
Try finding chinese toasted sesame paste! The flavor is pretty spot on. Or sub tahini + sesame oil
It’s midnight here and i want to find a steak and make this lol
me too
It’s not midnight but I’m going to place my grocery delivery 🚚 right now 😜
Mood
Tpu could add Onions and bell pepper and different colors of pepper
Marion u look great after having a baby. I remember it took me ages to get the bloated baby hormone fat from my face. You always look fresh. 😘😁😘
Tofu works as well, Marion
@@CM1984 You darn tootin'
Yeah, and quinoa, but it's really hard to get the bamboo sticks through each grain...
Go to Thailand, and find me ONE serving of tofu satay, I dare you...
It's a doubting Thomas!
Thomas, nobody likes a smart Alec 😣🙄😖
What else would you serve this with for a healthy dinner?
Maybe a salad with lettuce and cooked quinoa ?
👍👍👍👍👍
What is rib eye in NZ beef cut terminology?
Scotch fillet (in NZ terms). Its the boneless cut from the prime rib of the cow/steer. Otherwise its known as the ribeye cut/steak ( in the US)
Aww, miss your mom. How's she doing?
Add lime for satay
How is your mum? Say hello 💜💜💜
Any chance of you making some stuff with cheaper cuts of beef?
Maybe I've missed it but you only seem to use the best cuts, which is not an option for most.
I'm sure you could use any cut of beef you prefer and it would still turn out delicious!
How to make satay sauce
Your personality is so cute
I dont mean to brag but i was like #999
Marion I absolutely love your recipes and like you am a huge wings fan but Mr Man is a vegetarian...... Sigh.... Jk.... Can you please do more vegetarian dishes....
I think for a lot of her dishes, you could season veggies the same, or use tofu as a meat replacement.
She's always talking about using ribeye and other expensive cuts of meat like they cost a few pennies.
At least in Mexico the cuts of beef she usually uses are super expensive. There's no way a middle class family here could afford to make this for a weeknight dinner. Sorry, but it's a fact. I love this channel and these recipes but I had to point that out.
You would be hard-pressed to find BEEF satay in any given neighborhood in Thailand. This is about as Thai as pizza...
Mostly pork and chicken satay are eaten commonly.
I smell Baloney.

Yeah, I was waiting for someone to bring up Muslim food, the exception that proves the rule.
Theravada Buddhism, as you all no doubt know, has roots in Hinduism, and many Thais view beef negatively. No one's saying it isn't eaten at all, but it's certainly not mainstream Thai food.
In 30+ years, Muslim food notwithstanding, I don't think I have ever seen beef satay in any street food stall or cart.
But, ok, call it Thai food, since that is as close to Thailand as you'll ever be...
