Casseroles 'Pots and Pans' Montreal Protest Video

This poetic black and white film shows protesters of all ages taking to the streets in Montreal to protest Emergency Bill 78. The bill attempts to limit the ability to peacefully protest by requiring groups to get advance police approval for demonstrations. The evening march's start at 8 pm and are joined by young and old, in protest of both the Bill and in support of students. The "cacerolazo" pots-and-pans protest method began in Chile as an effective, peaceful method of expressing civil disobedience and has spread widely since.
