Thanks! How about the HK3 (non C version) and HK4? Are the max output the same? 5V 2A? I have a car hardwired with the HK3 for my now non-functioning A129 pro and want to upgrade to a A119 Mini 2 without re-hardwiring the car
A129 series and Older A119 series have Mini USB interface. All new VIOFO DashCam like A119 mini 2 and A229 plus/pro has Type C USB interface. All HardWiring kit have Same output. That's y HK3-C n and HK4 can be used interchangeably. But to use existing Mini USB HardWire kit with new A119 Mini 2, you need mini female to type C Male usb converter
Hi sir ...i am looking for dash continuously watching ur reviews...70mai just launched a810s model on nexdigitron site.shouikd i go for that or 70mai x200 ? Because x200 have unique mode
In case of short circuit or voltage variation, it will burn up the entire electrical system of your car, endangering your life and of others inside the car. Is it worth the risk?
@@traveltechyoutubeI think a little bit of clarity would have been better. It's absolutely fine to not connect it to the fuse box as long as you are not directly connecting it to the battery. All you need to ensure is that whatever you're connecting it to is an "always on" 12v source wire. As long as it's within the cabin, I guarantee you it will trace back to the fuse box and be protected. Yes it is still best practice to do it that way, although you're not going to burn your car down doing it.
Better just remove hardwire before sending to servicing, avoid unnecessary hassle with co not honouring warranty nonsense. Anyway thanks for the great video!
Indeed. But not everyone will have time/interest to sit and remove the hardwiring by themselves and reinstall back once the car service is over. Its for such people.
What 'd be the correct cable for a Volkswagen Jetta 2019 Sportline in the fuse table? Thanks for the video is very useful, greetings from Colombia

Will be making a video on A810 soon. Watch it and decide.
What if I directly connect my wires without a fuse tab? Would that cause any issues?

Does this camera allow me to view images in the parking mode on my phone if the car is turned off?
No. The dashcam should be on and you should be in range of the dashcams hotspot.
It worked fine until she got home. She has an internet signal at home but the app indicates it does not.
