Not gonna lie, that Mic does not sound good at all Harris. It's way too over-processed and with headphones on it's making my ears ring with ever "s" syllable you use. It looks nice _because it's an SM7B with a ring light) but man....they could have done so much better in terms of sound dampening
Just to reiterate since Harris mentioned USB hubs several times: make sure you get POWERED USB hubs. You risk possible USB voltage issues if you plug too many things into a non-powered hub.

Plus they are completely different interfaces and styles of mic. Of course the 2000 dollar mic is going to sound better, if it didn't Harris wouldn't have it, but there is nothing wrong at all with the sound of the beacon, especially for streaming and content creation. Plus the beacon is a dynamic mic, not an XLR like his shotgun mic is, so it'll never sound as good as the other one.

And the fan....it is actually just there for when the room isn't used. That room in our apt is the hottest room because of the sun hitting it all day long because of the buildings position. (Always 10 degrees hotter) and finally. Our son moved back in with us and basically all thats behind my desk is stuff we are going to put in storage lol. Finally I appreciate ya bud! Harris pointing out the fan blowing out the exhaust on to you made me laugh so hard but in all honesty I get cold really easily so I'm going to actually use that idea even if you didn't do that intentionally lmao

the only thing I'm ashamed of with my 3 monitor setup is the poor cable management under the desk and yes, I am going to fix it. that horror under that first desk there is close to what I have and I'm not proud of it. I love the triangles on the wall that "Jess" (the second one) had going on, I want to buy like 2 sets of those and build something funky on the wall behind me.

I cable managed my setup but it's very half assed, I just twist tied all my cables to a bar on my desk that's a few inches from the ground. It's in plain view and looks awful but it keeps my cables off the ground at least.
