After tons of research, the Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro is the only low profile hot-swappable RGB wireless keyboard that I could find. It sometimes causes me connectivity issues due to some conflicting 2.4Ghz dongles, but it ticks all my very specific boxes I want for a keyboard, and I’ve been enjoying it ever since.
My PC... duh! 😉 Honestly I love my Beacn Mix Create. Being able to adjust all the volumes on the fly is too convenient. And yes, I could do the same with just the Mix but I do stream occasionally so the submixes are a bonus.
Two things I'd like to see: 1. How to use becon Mic with the streamdeck with nobs 2. explain how the becon mic+stream deck works with your DLZ creator set up I'd really like to copy the becon+streamdeck nobs and then eventually add in the shotgun+dlz set up so very curious how it all works together
Heres some ideas for empty streamdeck buttons (not including owns mentioned by harris): -opening frequently visited websites -having different software, and games set to buttons. You can have your whole desktop hidden this way and save time too -control spotify or video play back, playing certain playlists when the stream or video changes vibes -editing hotkeys -voice changers -sound effects; bdum tsss, applause, fight scene music, whamp whamp, etc (good effects can be found at myInstants) -starting/stopping a timer I dont own a streamdeck yet, so the following are ideas I am yet be sure of -insta typing commonly said words or phrases; brb, afk, I will be back in 5m, I need a piss break, etc -adjusting the bass, mids, and highs of your voice with the nobs/buttons -closing webpages at a flash ;) -switching focus to different programs for single or limited monitor layouts. (Changing focus from the game to obs, or from spotify to discord for example) -copy and paste hotkeys -using buttons as a copy and paste clipboard for commonly used images (sorta like the instaryping common words from above) -changing mouse dpi -setting buttons to type into a calculator and launching said app behind the scenes and having the “enter button” both tell the actual calculator to come with the solution and make it change focus to the calculator app thus making the streamdeck dedicate buttons to being a de facto calculator. -changing wallpapers and ambient light -turning off or on desk fans -setting the a/c temp -on or off overclocking These are all the ideas I have. Some are goofy, some are useful.
Oh yeah. In addition to the obvious scene change buttons, and audio adjustment settings that I have on my SD+, my XL has multiple buttons that just post info like links to my chat, mute buttons for the mic, discord, bg music, and a half dozen different sound clips I use sparingly. I have switches to control which transitions I use. The SDs are the most essential pieces of kit I have on my desktop. I also have a Stream Start and Stream End pair of buttons that orchestrate starting my twitch stream, start recording, switch to the correct scene, play my intro video clip (and end video of course for the End Stream) then switch to the correct scene for me to start talking.
Wooting 60HE is a game changing gaming keyboard with analog buttons. I stopped using my aerox 5 when the Glorious Model I2 wireless came out. Better button layout and more robust wireless connection. Finally I switched to the Arctis Nova's and replaced the ear pads with 3rd party. The fix my few gripes with origional I ones you have.
Just to say thanks for all your Videos this year. I’m not a gamer but your tech content is addictive and it’s because of your delivery. I was taken aback by the fact you have an amazing music studio through that magic door! I would kill to have such a workplace so good on you for the rewards from your hard work. Thanks and Happy New Year!
I love the g502 as well, but other mice have that feature too. Personally there are two things I wish they added, and that could definitely sell me on a different mouse, namely smart hyper scroll, and gestures, like the MX master series mice have.
I used to rock the Arctis Pro Wireless. The battery swap is cluuuutch. I upgraded to the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless last year for the (frankly underwhelming) ANC feature, but basically everything else remains. I now keep the old Arctis Pro Wireless in my living room for late night console gaming sessions on the couch without bothering anyone with the noise. In general I love the Arctis series because it allows me to easily join the audio output of 2 PCs and a phone into one single pair of headphones without any hassle.
You could probably get a really large teleprompter and use that as a monitor for chat/whatever while you speak with your audience to *really* get that youtube video effect
Thanks for the great year of such high-quality videos. I have recently started streaming and taking my gaming setup a lot more seriously and have found myself gravitating to you channel as my trusted source of information. Thanks legend.
I purchased the same headset in 2020. I just purchased a new strap and batteries for it. They have so much more in-game clarity than any other headset I've ever used. I'll be in-game marveling at why other people aren't hearing what I'm hearing
Recently started my streaming journey and this guy has been so incredibly helpful, thank you Senpai. But also he has the most insane setup ever and I am eternally jealous haha
So, Elgato needs to make a soft box to attach to the key lights (great idea wish i could get 1% for this idea) that way you could have the professional look and softness added to the key lights with all the functionality of what Elgato brings to the table! Also, Mackie had been a huge component of my DJ life with the mixer i use, I just wish that mixer you have would be more affordable! Well done Harris, well done! 👍
Beautiful. Always liked your gaming desk setup. Super crisp. Favourite piece of gaming gear - my HyperX Cloud Alpha cabled headset. I have a stupidly old model I bought from a store, like, over 5+ years ago and it has been thrown around from rage and dropped by accident. Not a single thing broken and the audio is still perfect. It is so old that the pleather ear pads and headband is peeling like mad. Heck, they probably weren't even called HyperX Cloud Alpha back then, they're so old. Will keep 'em til they die. Love 'em.
I actually use my Stream Deck for anything outside of streaming. I use it as a macro to either switch audio sources in combination with SoundSwitch, I use it to switch between my 3 monitor setup and my TV as output devices via DisplayMagician, I use it to deafen myself on Discord, to clip with Nvidia Shadowplay and to make a screenshot with Flameshot. Thats also why I only have the small Streamdeck. More is rarely necessary.
Still using my Arctis Pro Wireless as well, and probably won't change any time soon. The dual audio, being able to have both Xbox and PC sound simulatanous is a feature that seems lost to time on all of the newer headsets and I can't live without it.
As a bit of a mouse fanatic, it's crazy to hear a 68g mouse called surprisingly light. Market leaders these days are literally half that weight! Granted they are smaller to achieve that, but not by a lot. Aerox 5 is 129mm, WLmouse Beast X is 122mm and 38 grams!
Hey Harris 😊 been watching you since 2020 and I was wondering… is the beacon mic truly better than your $3000 Blue Kiwi mic you had used for so long? Why the switch? Happy new year 😊
what is that red cable conneccting your stream decks? is that like a two to one usb or something or did i mistake it for the keyboard cable. and then for keyboards, look at the epomaker TH96! love the compactness without giving up the 10 key but not having the giant real estate of a 10 key keyboard
I was wondering if you might be able to do a video on camera mounts, I can’t seem to find anything that works for me yet and just thought you’ve probably gone through a slew of different camera mounts. I’ve got so many things on my Amazon wish list because of you haha thanks for all your amazing content! Cheers to the new year!
I did not have AxeFX III on my gaming peripherals bingo card, well played sir. I have a first run AxeFX I still need to set up and try out, do you know if they're still supported and compatible with newer equipment or would I be better off upgrading when I can?
I loved using the GoXLR to control my monitored audio levels for my discord/music/games, but without changing any actual levels going into OBS. Can the Mackie DLZ do this?
My favorite piece of tech from this year is definitely the finalmouse ulx, I switched from the g pro superlight and it is sooooo much lighter. Easily my new go-to mouse!
Most people make this mistake where they buy the SM7B and mishandle it by staying too far away from it, basically ruining the quality just because they think it’s the best, while those shotgun mics outperform the competition in so many ways. 😂
i think there is some wireless or electric noise that fuck with the 2.4ghz wireless conctions , could also be some metalic item on the path, maybe you moved the desktop? and the signal is weaker? have logitech for years on years, they fail, usually the buttons break \ stop working , never the wireless itself.

You should do a video on your wiring setup for your audio mixer/interface along with your guitar rig setup. I game/stream and also play music and I would love to see how you set yours up along with how everything is routed and plays together.
its been a min since Ive commented on a video but just wanted to say thanks for putting a video out on the wave xlr and how you EQ your mic - helped a lot. keep up the great work!
Love this, but one thing that I am really interested in are the arms and connecotrs you use for your cameras etc. I've got a couple I use but they sometimes sag and I would love to do a central camera between monitors, but I need a non-sagging arm holder. What do you use?
I also want to replace my keyboard, right now I’m using an HyperX ALLOY FPS PRO and it was the best keyboard I’ve ever had (for FPS games in a competitive level) but it’s been 7 years and my boy needs to rest it’s falling apart lol
Still rocking those same Headphones. Was the first thing I bought with money from my new Job and just can't find anything close to it. Not needing to be wired is just such a game Changer and in Videocalls with the Family when the GF is around I can simply hook up some Headphones for her on the Aux Out of mine. Such a nieche Feature but damn.
You talk about the vertical plugin as being essential in another video but then you said you love your stream deck for switching scenes. But keyboard shortcuts in OBS with vertical mode do not work and break your setup. RIGHT? or what are u doing to circumvent that? Cheers
When the Flux keyboard and the FinalMouse Centerpiece come out, I really really want to see your reviews on those. Are they a gimmick, or are they revolutionary, maybe a little of both?
So i normally dont put my camera between my monitors but i love symmetry too. I just feel weird having to look to the left or the right for gameplay and chat. But symmetry looks so sleek. I may have to try it.
I have your current setup (SM7b & WaveXLR) and my friend has a rodecaster duo. From what I’ve experienced, the WaveXLR is plenty powerful and has a ton of plug-in capabilities! So I’d say you shouldn’t upgrade. If you really want the buttons the rodecaster duo provides, I’d recommend just getting a stream deck instead 👍🏻✨
@@Sweevee that’s kinda what I’m thinking . I think if the rode had the virtual routing like elgato it would be the winner , but having unify with that much latency back to the duo is a deal breaker . They need to fix it
i definitely love the center camera angle between the monitors lol, and yeah im still on my first wireless headset, the arctis 1 wireless, and only had to replace the earpads, so far 3 years strong (: ive had my ducky one two mini for like 3 years now too, its been great, but i do miss having some F keys and arrow keys, but being this small and not taking a lot of space has been really great, love watching your videos harris! 😎
theres a good chance that your wireless in the logitech is still "fine" but you may be getting interference from another object. I noticed that there's a specific place on me desk that if I set me phone there, my logitech's connection gets SUPER spotty. It's really weird, but other than that little detail my MX1000 (which is 20 years old) still works perfectly.
I have allways been a headphone guy when gaming. This x-mass I bought my self Klipsch R-51PM and R-100SW speaker and subwoofer. Damn it's a day and night difference, and they joy of not puting on headphones every time also spare your ears.
As far as keyboards go 14:42, if you’re looking for a cheep and easy to build yourself, glorious keyboards makes a lot of nice unbuilt keyboards that’s are super solid. Do some research on what kind of switches you like and such and noise suppressing and all that good stuff. I have one and let me tell you…I will NEVER be going back to big corps for keyboards(aka Logitech) again. They don’t make a wireless version yet at least that I know of but they are really nice as a plugin wired keyboard. Have fun with it yall! Also love the vids senpai gaming been watching you since 2022!
What mount are you using to hold your monitors? I ask because I have two ultrawides on a full desk mousepad which is a pain to clean. I'm looking for a mount that I can put the mat on top of and make cleaning a lot easier.
It’d be dope to know how you manage you set up your audio with the elgato stream deck + since I assume you’re using sonar for your headphones. I just got a stream deck + and I haven’t wrapped my head around how to get those softwares to play nice
Since you arent using go xlr or wave xlr do you just use the steel series dock plugged in via usb and connect to the pc that way as i have always used them by audio cable into my go xlr/wave xlr
Can you do a walkthrough on how your setup is...setup. like what plugs into what...you know, for noobs like me that dont know how to get everything connected and running. Like i have the beacn, but im struggling to get it to work properly through wave link. Also, bought a sony zv camera, and need to know how to connect it to the comp and everything needed.
Quick question, does having the shotgun mic help with audio from further away? I tend to move around my room during streams and my sm7b doesn’t capture my voice from far away even when I’m screaming. Or in other instances when I have guests on stream in the room with me and they are farther from the mic it can’t capture their voices too well if they are quiet.
Harris, you need to get a real CUSTOM Senpai themed Gasket-mounted Mechanical Keyboard. You should build one yourself, with ceramic keycaps, and do a vid on it.
I had the arctis pro wireless as well, and upgraded to the nova pro wireless, and I do not recommend making the change unless your pair stop working. They changed the wireless signal or something, so it gets more distortion than it should (even though the transmitter is usually within 2ft of the headset) and I have had a few times where the headset itself crashed, playing sounds like when the computer crashes, and needs to be turned off and back on before they can play audio again. The noise cancelling is also uncomfortable without third-party ear cups, without much effect to the actual sounds you are hearing (maybe better if you have more people in the house and its noisier)
I keep swapping between my beacn mic and an xlr mic only because I dont have the ear to properly eq the beacn. I love the mic but I just need to learn how to get a better sound out of it. Also I still have so much trouble with the beanc software crashing, like it did just now...
I've been using Steelseries mice for easily over 10 years now. I have an Aerox 5 wireless for 3 months and it already has scroll wheel issues where it randomly goes in the opposite direction once in a while. Seems like a widespread issue. I'm waiting for my RMA replacement to arrive and I wish you good luck with yours.
I had a similar headset and I loved them but they weren’t wireless yet so the charging port just gave out and I upgraded to the newer version of those they are amazing
Need advice. I wanted to get the stream deck plus for pure audio control, but I have an XLR mic. I could get the wave xlr but that doubles up on audio controls and clutters the desk. Any advice?
My newest and biggest investment peice of gaming gear is the Azeron Cyborg. It has a bit of a lerning curve but coming from other gamepads like razor tartarus pro the azeron literally wraps all the keys i could want around my hand. super useful
@jadenanjara so for years, I used a Saitek Cyborg Commander Unit until it finally died, and I upgraded to the Tartarus Pro. I can say that without a doubt, I do not look back. There are some software quirks, and some retraning your brain to press keys with your first finger joint, but it is way more ergonomic than a keypad ever could be.
any tips on what kind of mixer can be handy so I can connect speakers, headphones and microfoons? so I can still use my SD+ for volume control. the DLZ I find it to exspensive for just having it on the table I need something simpeler. any tips would be lovely just atleast more then 2 microfoon inputs.

Great video. Love all the different angles of cameras you have. Is it the updated low profile elgato mic arm?
DUDE I ALSO HAD PROBLEMS WITH THOSE SAME LOGITECH PERIPHERALS IN THE SAME TIMEFRAME. 😂
Makes me feel better knowing it isn’t just me.
Finally a promanate voice give steelseries some praise. Been a fan since I got my first arctic pro 1 wireless
You talk about the vertical plugin as being essential in another video but then you said you love your stream deck for switching scenes.
But keyboard shortcuts in OBS with vertical mode do not work and break your setup. RIGHT? or what are u doing to circumvent that?
Cheers
Should I get the Sony A7iv or the A7s iii for streaming and RUclips content creation?I have the Sony a6400 but its Time to upgrade i think
Strange my logic keyboard stuttering last month.
For a keyboard, you should check out the Wooting 60HE
The G502 infinite scroll is the reason I can't move away from that mouse.
I got my arctis pro wireless headphones because of you and ive gotten like 3 or 4 other people to buy them. The 2 battery setup is just too good!
If I’m just recording videos and streaming . Is a rodecaster duo worth it or just stick with the wave xlr ? Running an sm7b
They need to fix it
What's the TV? Is the 4K Gaming TV the unreleased thing because I can't find any info on it
I'd like to know what the update is with the Rodecaster since your last video on it. Where is it now in your set up and do you still recommend it?
i definitely love the center camera angle between the monitors lol, and yeah im still on my first wireless headset, the arctis 1 wireless, and only had to replace the earpads, so far 3 years strong (: ive had my ducky one two mini for like 3 years now too, its been great, but i do miss having some F keys and arrow keys, but being this small and not taking a lot of space has been really great, love watching your videos harris! 😎
the new ulx finalmouse has beeen wild for me the aim in warzone has been feeling snappy
theres a good chance that your wireless in the logitech is still "fine" but you may be getting interference from another object.
Harris! A quick question, is the Shotgun mic plugged into an xlr interface or did you use an XLR to USB cable and go straight into the PC?
Thought I was alone in the world rocking the Aerox 5 Wireless. This thing is the best for my giant orc hands xD
Ik it ain't as big a deal but anyone know the arms holding the mic and chatting cam in place
I’m not too sure but I just A camera shoe mount off Amazon I know it’s not the exact same but I presume it will work similar
Going on 5 years + on just my PC setup. Will be looking at investing in a new PC and am curious what all is in your PC setup.
How are you running the cable from the wide angle? In the wall or magic?
What mount are you using to hold your monitors? I ask because I have two ultrawides on a full desk mousepad which is a pain to clean. I'm looking for a mount that I can put the mat on top of and make cleaning a lot easier.
It’d be dope to know how you manage you set up your audio with the elgato stream deck + since I assume you’re using sonar for your headphones. I just got a stream deck + and I haven’t wrapped my head around how to get those softwares to play nice
I don't know if you've talked about it but with you working with Mackie alot more what are your thoughts on Rode buying Mackie???
Wait, how did you add functionality to turn the P60C on with the smart plug? Do you still have to manually turn the light on from the back?
Love the set up and I’m taking a shot is it the tv that not out yet ?
Really like the two last thumbnails 😤
this is absolutely an amazing setup
Since you arent using go xlr or wave xlr do you just use the steel series dock plugged in via usb and connect to the pc that way as i have always used them by audio cable into my go xlr/wave xlr
Can you do a walkthrough on how your setup is...setup. like what plugs into what...you know, for noobs like me that dont know how to get everything connected and running. Like i have the beacn, but im struggling to get it to work properly through wave link. Also, bought a sony zv camera, and need to know how to connect it to the comp and everything needed.
The mic is,my fav and I love my mix create as well!!
I’m curious - how are you using those wireless headphones with your DLZ Creator? Are you not monitoring your own voice?
Are those HomePod Mini's mounted on the wall? I love my HomePod Mini's instead of a sound bar!
Fired up for next year, love the setup buddy! I’ll match it one day 😎👍👍
Quick question, does having the shotgun mic help with audio from further away? I tend to move around my room during streams and my sm7b doesn’t capture my voice from far away even when I’m screaming. Or in other instances when I have guests on stream in the room with me and they are farther from the mic it can’t capture their voices too well if they are quiet.
Harris, you need to get a real CUSTOM Senpai themed Gasket-mounted Mechanical Keyboard. You should build one yourself, with ceramic keycaps, and do a vid on it.
Definitely try the G502 x Plus, I went to this from the wired G502 and it's amazing. Slightly lighter and feels amazing.
Dope AF room and setup. 😄👌
I used your link and it seems to be out of stock. What was the price point?
I'm so glad you still use the arctis pro wireless. Best headset of all time
I had the arctis pro wireless as well, and upgraded to the nova pro wireless, and I do not recommend making the change unless your pair stop working.
Great video, love the setup! I'd guess it was the Speakers that weren't released yet maybe?
I keep swapping between my beacn mic and an xlr mic only because I dont have the ear to properly eq the beacn. I love the mic but I just need to learn how to get a better sound out of it. Also I still have so much trouble with the beanc software crashing, like it did just now...
Great content! This is super helpful and informative.
Okay so I’m not crazy, my Logitech wireless has been a bit buggy recently, glad to hear I’m not the only one.
Any advice?
Happy new year in advance.
My Beacn Mix Create has been collecting dust unplugged for 8 months. Never worked well for me. Huge disappointment.
Have you thought of adding wireless hdmi to tv to computer?
My newest and biggest investment peice of gaming gear is the Azeron Cyborg. It has a bit of a lerning curve but coming from other gamepads like razor tartarus pro the azeron literally wraps all the keys i could want around my hand. super useful
I’m a diehard Logitech G13 user (I got a backup one) and am interested in your experience

So glad I have the new one :DDDDDD
any tips on what kind of mixer can be handy so I can connect speakers, headphones and microfoons? so I can still use my SD+ for volume control. the DLZ I find it to exspensive for just having it on the table I need something simpeler. any tips would be lovely just atleast more then 2 microfoon inputs.
