I love the 2nd monitor setup, now for anyone wanting to do similar and not have to buy or pull apart an elgato prompter you can buy small IPS monitor that can do similar. altho not as simple as just a USB plug in as most run HDMI but definitely a little easier on the pocket as most are sub $100 on aliexpress.

i have two of the same desk, one in front of the other; on the farther desk sits an LG C1 55" 4k OLED 4x hdmi 2.1 on an arm to the right is a 1440p 27" secondary Azoth kb, razer viper 8k mouse, Beacn Mic & Mix Create, 32key Stream Deck cables are routed between the two desks and can be easily moved around
Currently redesigning my office and its way harder than anticipated, what I actually want, how best to use the space. I ended up going over the top and designing the entire thing to scale in Sketchup.
I absolutely NEED to know the plugin the can control each members volume in discord...that is game changing and I do not know how I've gone this long without it
You can also just use any portable USB c monitor and plug it into the USB c port of your motherboard if it supports it and do the same thing. Then you get full functionality of an extra screen and could even go touch if you wanted.
I joined the 32" monitor legion a couple years back with the Gigabyte M32Q, and now I can't go with anything smaller. The extra screen space is so nice for everything I do (games, video editing, art, etc.), but even with that I'm still running a 3-monitor setup. It's just too hard to give up all those extra screens for streaming.
you can use a usb c external display for exact that purpose i think tey are easy up to 15" and are recognized as normal displays also you could use miracast and have it wirelessly that way you can place it anywhre ad just use a stick performance does nothave to be good on the display
I've had the same issue with GPU's covering up the PCI slots I need for capture cards so I ended up getting aPCI extension strip, but it looks like that PC doesn't have the side mount for GPU's. Still a sick PC.
I always enjoy setup videos or tweaking my own setup, one of my best friends is always complaining that his pc is so bad he can't play with us most of the time so I hope I get this pc for gaming, streaming, editing and designing and so I can give my current pc to him

Id love to get a new setup. Being a teacher and having kids makes it tough to afford setups. I am a flightsim addict with a home cockpit and touch screens that takes a beast of a pc to rum.

Is it a waste of time trying to get 4k live-streaming? I can’t seem to get it working with any device or cable/capture setup. Is it better to just stream in 1080p and leave the 4k for recorded video?
Can you not use a PCI extension/vertical mount to get that capture card in it without choking the gpu? Also name it Thesus - the legendary king of Athens since its the current king of builds
I realized quite a while ago that Harris' idea of a perfect streaming setup is not the same thing as lot of other people's idea of a perfect streaming setup.
Harris, I am very interested in the question about the Elgato Prompter screen. Is it difficult to disassemble, and is it possible to reassemble it afterward?
If you're not upgrading the the Nova Wireless headset, is it becuase the base station isn't flat on top so you can't mount it under your desk? Why not just 3D print out a bracket for it to make it flat and then mount the new ones under. The noise cancelling on them is great, and the built in mic is also much better (not that you'll be using it anytime).
i need that little screen to be the height of a 24 and 27 inch screen and resolution and a bit bigger. please sell it elgato pls. also a squared screen will be nice. the horizontal res has to be compensating the size. and if can be firmware updated will be nice.
USB-C powered and connected portable monitors with threaded mounting is already a thing that exists so you can just go ahead and buy one already. Also Im glad more people are realising that single monitor is superior, multi monitor set ups with rgb glow everywhere honestly inflict psychic damage to me, for like a decade now Ive been hoping gamers would learn how an actually nice office/study is et up and designed.
One suggestion for the PC I thought of was naming it “Harmonia” (or Roman name “Concordia”) after the Greek Goddess of Harmony and Balance. My reasoning for this is since the computer has a Red design and that colour can represent both Love and War, much like Aphrodite and Ares, why not combined the two by picking the name Harmonia who was the daughter of both Greek Gods :)
My dream Setup would be one really nice 34 inch ultraweit Monitor and a second 13 inch monitor underneath it. If I stream I can put the monitor in to 16:9 and use they left over 5:9 for the chat. And the 13 inch i can use for obs discord Audio mixing. in the best case It's a Touch Panel

I think you should definitely get into using your subscribers as “practice dummies” to try and perfect your desk setup. I’m assuming a majority of us do stream or want to stream but just don’t have the equipment for it, and with your help could make that possible!
Ouroboros would fit the perfectly: since you have done this many times. the ouroboros represents the eternal cycle of destruction and rebirth. It very fitting because your breaking down and rebuilding to something greater time after time.

Quick question; what software do you use to manage various audio channels? You mentioned having the Stream Deck plus as a management device. I would assume that means you use wave link. Personally, I’ve used Voicemeeter in all my set ups. it works all right, but I have been looking out for alternatives recently
I just need a better graphic card better than 1080 cuz my gaming is suffering, and mayBe some more RAM. I need a 4k capture card right now im using a hauppauge hd pvr 2, but i make it work.
