  • In this episode of this series, our team will be focusing on the manual transmission. With the hard and squeaky clutch pedal, we decided to do a makeover on the entire clutch system, including the hydraulic system as well. Once manual transmission was removed, we found the clutch to be 100% original with very little life remaining. Watch us how we completely transform our Integra with a brand new clutch system.

    You guys always go over all the good stuff in detail! I love it! I just did a JDM B18C TypeR swap in my 97 Civic EJ8 EX Coupe "EK" and I used all the older Civic TypeR videos to get all my parts and info ready before hand and it went smooth as butter changing every OEM oil seal I could and timing belt, tensioner and water pump b4 install. I mean I did all of em and transmission lol. I've been keeping up with this series 100% and found it awesome cause I'm going to go back in and change the valve stem seals like the last video ya'll did! Thanks for always doing in depth tech vids! Ya'll are the A #1 Honda channel out right now and have been for a while 💪💪💪

      @@ahcgarage the OEM D and B series oil pan gaskets are known to have issues. I have a FelPro one on mine now, and plan to try the one TJ used on the turbo Civic next. That one seems like it has a great design. Won’t squish out and deform when the nuts are torqued.

    No lie I really like this video . No need to say anything just watch 👌 I had a question . Do u use Honda bond on the oil pan gasket ? Top and bottom? Or just the bottom side? Also wat u torque the oil pan bolts to?

    • @ahcgarage
      @ahcgarage  Год назад +1

      Hondabond should be applied on all four joining corners in the block side, oil pan side is an option. As for the oil pan bolts/nuts, 8.7lbf.ft or 12N.m is the spec.
