- A very cold and very hard session drop shot fishing on a canal!
dropshotting isn't something that I do very often to be fair so I'm keen to get some practice in and broaden my skill set, hard day but still managed to sneak a couple of fish out!

Dude, that background during your rig set up is like a green screen! Insane sky 😍
It’s enough of a pain to get set up to just go fishing, so to do what you always have to with the cameras and recording and constantly in the back of your mind it’s probably on the filming side more so than the fishing. But we are really grateful for all you put into it mate to bring us along with you!

This is what got me back into fishing 6years ago. I got myself a dropshot rod and was hooked again, especially when on 2nd session I had a pike on it
Seen lots of ways of tying the hook on a dropshotting rig this is the best by far ,thanks very much
No canals near me so the fishing is even harder, 10 trips not a bite!
Jeez I wish we had thought of these methods back in the 70s when I lived in the UK ! Keep up the good work.

Nice video bro 🎣 I love dropshot its something I have most confidence in , I was dropshotting in summer when I got into bfs and catching sooo many small perch haha started dropshoting then with bigger lure like 12cm pintail and stuff and they work great also for zander and big ones

Hope you make a film about hardbaits Dan. How to use them, when to use them, where etc. Cranks, swims, jerks. At the moment i only catch on hardbait altho they are just small jacks. But it is fun to catch
ive learnt changing lure over and over again seems to work maybe down size or up size and A dropshot minnow or a craw

Eager to try it out, I headed out with a plastic worm and on my first cast caught a lovely jack.
Keep it up my man your so inspiring..
what bait did you use to catch the jack, I never thought a pike would bother with a dropshot
@@kodiwtf it was on a plastic worm of all things, totally took me by surprise.
@@paulreeves9592 despite having a big bait caster and massive lures i’ve caught all my pikes on spinners , crankbaits and jerkbaits all like 5-10cm max

Wait are dropshot weights illegal in the UK? I've seen em sold in every tackle shop I've been in and seen others fishing with em around Manchester
I think he made a big mistake saying drop shot weights are illegal in the UK.
Lead weights are illegal to use in the UK. Except micro shot which is made of lead.
If drop shot weights are illegal in the UK then every fishing shop in the UK that sells drop shot weights is breaking the law by selling them and most lure anglers are breaking the law by using them.
So no there not illegal to use
Weights over a certain size including shot are illegal in the uk if made of LEAD. Most if not all of the shot and weights over this size in the Uk are made of non toxic materials ie brass,tungsten. So no it’s fine to use them.
